Recently, there has been an increasing interest in 'Flipped Learning,' an IT-based learner-centered teaching-learning method corresponding to meet the paradigm of the future education. For smooth Flipped Learning, there are three steps in total: a pre-class should precede; then, in the structure of classes in the classroom, in-class learning among peer learners should be done; and lastly, the operation of a post-class should be done. For successful Flipped Learning, class elements in each step should be designed with a time difference, interconnected so as to achieve a single educational objective. However, it was found that there was a limitation in that the teaching-learning model of the preceding Flipped Learning consisted of the order of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation as general procedures, so it would not sufficiently consider the situations of Flipped Learning only. On this background, this thesis proposes a differentiated Flipped Learning model for mastery learning in a subject of an institute of technology as a model of systematic instructional design and presents a case of a class applied to an actual subject of computer engineering.

본 연구에서는 초등 교과 교육을 위한 플립 러닝 기반 스마트 교수-학습 시스템을 설계 및 개발하고 이를 초등 교육 현장에 적용하여 교과 성취 수준 및 교과 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석 평가하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 교수-학습 시스템은 비디오 파트, 데이트 파트, 러닝라인 파트의 세 부분으로 구성되었으며, 플립 러닝 기반 수업을 위하여 프레젠테이션, 사전 수업 동영상, 스프레드시트 등이 제작되었다. 본 연구의 교수-학습 시스템을 수업에 적용하여 분석한 결과 학습자들의 교과 성취 수준 신장 및 교과 만족도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에 대한 시사점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

교사가 수업에서 느끼는 큰 어려운 점 중의 하나는 배우고자 하는 의욕과 동기를 상실한 학습부진아를 수업에 참여시키는 것이다. 수학학습부진아는 평균 혹은 평균 이상의 능력을 가지고 있지만 교사의 노력에도 불구하고 수학 학습에 많은 어려움을 느낀 학생들이다. 이 학생들에 대한 수학학습지도 전략은 수학학습에 대한 동기를 부여하고 수학에서의 학업 성취도의 향상을 경험하게 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 수학학습 부진아들의 기초수학 학습지도 전략방안으로 거꾸로 교실 수업을 선택하고 이를 수학학습부진아 수업에 적용한 후 이 학생들의 수학에 대한 학업성취도와 수학적 성향에서의 변화를 분석함으로써 수학학습 부진아에 대한 거꾸로 교실 적용 가능성을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구의 결과, 첫째, 거꾸로 교실을 활용한 수학학습부진아의 기초수학 학습 지도 후 수학학업성취도에 긍정적인 유의미한 변화가 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째, 거꾸로 교실을 활용한 수학학습부진아의 기초수학 학습 지도 후 수학에 대한 자신감, 융통성, 의지력, 호기심, 반성, 수학적 가치의식 등 수학적 성향에서도 유의미한 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 특히, 수학의 가치에 대한 생각과 수학문제 풀이에 대한 의지 부분에서 가장 두드러진 변화를 보였다.

The purpose of this study is to design a Content-based Korean Class model using Flipped learning for foreign students. The class model that presents on this paper will lead the language learning through content learning, also it will be enable the student more active and to have an initiative in the class. Prior to designing a Content-based Korean Class model using Flipped learning, the concepts and educational significance and characteristics of flip learning were reviewed through previous studies. Then, It emphasizes the necessity of teaching method adapting Flipped learning to Content-based teaching method in Korean language education. It also suggests standards and principles of composition in Contents-based teaching method using Flipped learning. After designing the instructional model based on the suggested standards and principles, it presents a course of instruction about how learning methods, contents and activities should be done step by step. The Content-based Korean class model using the Flipped learning will be an alternative approach to overcome the limitations of teacher-centered teaching methods and lecture-teaching methods which are the dominant of present classroom environment.

본 연구는 최근 대학에서 학습자 중심 수업방법으로 각광받고 있는 플립러닝 수업활동을 문화역사적 활동이론 관점에서 분석하고자 하였다. A대학교에서 2018학년도 2학기에 개설된 [교육방법 및 교육공학]을 플립러닝으로 개발하여 운영하였고, 교과목 담당교수와 수강학생을 대상으로 설문조사와 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 활동이론은 복합적이고 다각적인 교육현상을 활동체제의 구성요소와 이들 간 상호작용, 매개되는 도구 등을 중심으로 분석하는 틀을 제공한다. 따라서 Engestrőm의 활동체제 모형을 근거로 플립러닝 수업활동의 구성요소를 주체, 객체, 학습도구, 수업 규칙, 학습공동체, 역할 분담으로 분석하였고, 그 과정에서 나타난 모순과 역동성을 분석하였다. 학습자 중심 수업방식인 플립러닝에 대해 교수자와 학습자 모두 전반적으로 높은 만족감을 보였고, 학습내용 이해와 학습목표 성취에 도움이 되었다는 반응을 보였다. 보다 발전적인 플립러닝 활동체제를 위한 시사점으로 교수자와 학습자의 진정한 주체 인식과 역할 수행, 온라인과 오프라인 활동의 유기적 연계 강화, 수업준비 및 학습준비 부담 완화를 위한 지원, 원활한 운영을 지원하는 시스템 정비를 제안하였다.

The teaching method of colleges and universities is traditionally lectures then professors has described orally in class and students has listened to accompanying with papers, mid-terms, and final exams. Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams have developed new way of teaching called flipped learning; Classwork at home and homework in class. By adapting the method, this paper researched how efficient it is and what factors tutors should consider for better results. Specifically this research examined the flipped learning applying to basic 3D graphics class of J University in Korea and students answered surveys and took a couple of tests. Since the most students of the class did not have any background of 3D graphics, it was the first time for them to work with 3 dimensional space coordinate system. As a result, the research showed positive side of flipped learning like increasing peers' interest to the class and positive attitude about video lectures watched before coming to class.

본문의 연구목적은 디자인 교육의 도형 기초 다자인 과정에서 다양한 지식차원의 교육콘텐츠에 대한 플립러닝 수업모델의 효율성을 테스트하고, 도형 기초 다자인 과정을 대상으로 한 플립러닝 수업방안 및 의견을 제시함으로써 교육효과를 높이는 데 있다. 블룸의 교육목표 분류학의 지식차원을 사용하여 도형 기초 다자인 과정의 교육내용을 분류하고, 120명의 학생을 4개의 실험조로 나눈 다음, 다양한 지식차원과정 콘텐츠의 플립러닝 학습을 각각 진행하고, 수업 전에 실시한 테스트와 수업 이후 실시한 테스트를 통해 실험데이터를 얻어 분석을 진행하였다. 그 중 사실성과 개념성 지식 수업의 경우 자기주도적 학습, 절차성과 메타인지 부류의 지식수업에서의 플립러닝 수업방식은 학습의 적극성을 유발하여 학습효율을 높일 수 있다. 연구결과와 학생의 피드백을 근거로 도형 기초 다자인 과정 콘텐츠의 분류방법 및 도형 기초 다자인 과정 플립러닝모델에 대한 수업전략을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to empirical case study for the instructional design of flipped classroom by job-capability advancement of IT business majors. A student of IT business school has learned a lot of management educations for four years. But, they don't recognize a connection between school education and business practice. A subject based on the humanities, and social sciences consisted of mostly the memorization. The undergraduate class lack a practice's curriculum by a creative-oriented lesson rather than memorization-oriented. In particular, An IT business is now recognized as a significance emerging IT investment, the Internet of Things, information security, big data and strategy's ERP. For these reasons, it is important for an instructional design for understanding business practices of the students. Accordingly, Flipped classroom with participatory class be needed increasingly for students' practical sense. We will propose a design method of flipped classroom for inspiring business education. In this, new instructional design overturned traditional teaching method. After the student conducts a prior learn at home, school will accomplish a problem solving through question and answer. This design effected a boredom suppress and creative enforcement of student and an intimacy increase of instructor. In addition, A participatory class and reciprocal peer tutoring will be possible by a spontaneous self-directed learning of student. We were designed course of project type based on big data theory and application to target the fourth-year course. In conclusion, the new instruction provided a help to learning synergy between student and lecturer. During the lessons, the student showed improvement of business sense and enhanced problem solving capability. The lecturer has the intimacy through communication interaction with students.

최근 학계와 교육현장의 관심과 주목을 받고 있는 거꾸로 교실은 학업성취도, 학습태도, 협력학습, 자기 주도 학습 능력 등에 긍정적 효과를 가지고 있다는 많은 교육적 장점에도 불구하고 상당수의 실행상의 문제점과 어려움이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구는 거꾸로 교실에 대한 교사 및 예비교사의 인식 조사를 통해 거꾸로 교실의 교육적 적용 가능성을 탐색하는데 그 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 사례 등을 기반으로 거꾸로 교실의 교수 학습모형 및 가이드라인에 대한 분석을 실시한 다음, 실제 현장 적용 시 충족되어야 할 교육적 선행 조건을 탐색하여 이를 바탕으로 예비교사 156명과 현직교사 42명을 대상으로 교육적 적용 방향 및 인식에 대해 조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과, 전체 80% 이상의 참여 교사들이 거꾸로 교실을 활용할 의사를 보여주었고 사전학습활동 자료 및 가이드라인이 제공되기를 희망하였다. 교사들은 거꾸로 교실을 적용하기에 최적의 학습대상은 중학생과 대학생으로 여겼으며, 최적의 과목은 사회, 과학, 국어, 영어 순으로 나타났으며, 사전학습활동 자료 형태로 동영상을 손꼽았다.

Information Technology influenced on classroom to change the teaching and learning method. Recently, flipped learning method became a hot issue in education by using Information Technology. Learning management system that is introduced in our university in the spring semester 2015, made it possible to apply flipped learning method. So, we used the flipped learning method in a calculus course. In this paper, we found that flipped learning in Calculus we was a little bit affirmative in the aspect of motivation and active learning from students' response on flipped learning method. We analyzed the reason that students were not so positive in continuing flipped learning even though they liked flipped learning a little bit better than traditional learning. We suggest what we pay attention to for applying the flipped learning method effectively.
