The movie Lolita is directed by the famous director Stanley Kubrick in the United Kingdom in 1962. Due to the movie theme, it produced a great social dispute at that year. Lolita was Stanley Kubrick's first independently produced film. It tells the story of the abnormal love between Professor Humbert from Europe and his stepdaughter Lolita. Throughout the film, it shocked people by feeling honourable and aesthetic although the theme is about commit incest. The director also completely shown the social reality of the United States in a black humor irony method. By the meantime, the lush tragic feature of the film also strongly infects the audience. Current studies on the movie Lolita mainly focus on the following aspects: firstly, the black humor techniques of director Kubrick's movies, secondly, the parody techniques of the movie, and thirdly, the differences between the original novel Lolita and the adapted movie. In the American society where consumerism constitutes the mainstream, instead of sticking to traditional moral concepts, people pursue material enjoyment. Based on the consumerism theory, this paper analyzes the social reality revealed by the movie Lolita, presents such typical characteristics of the consumerist society as hedonism and broken family relations, and explains how the consumerist society leads to Lolita's tragic life.

This study investigates the sound properties of fabric frictional sound (SPL, ${\Delta}L$, ${\Delta}f$) according to the film type of PTFE laminated vapor-permeable water-repellent fabrics in order to understand the relationship between SPL and the basic properties of fabrics such as layer, yarn type, and thickness of fiber. This study accesses their mechanical properties and determines how to control them to minimize SPL. Eight PTFE laminated water-repellent fabrics, composed of four different film types (A, B, C, D) and with two different fabrics, were used as test specimens. Frictional sounds generated at 1.21m/s were recorded by using a fabric sound generator and SPLs were analyzed through Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT). The mechanical properties of fabrics were measured by KES-FB. The SPL value was lowest at 74.4dB in film type A and highest as 85.5dB in type D. Based on ANOVA and post-hoc test, specimens were classified into less Loud Group (A, B) and Loud Group (C, D). It was shown that SPL was lower when 2 layer (instead of 3 layer), filament yarn than staple, and thin fiber than thick were used. In Group I, shearing properties (G, 2HG5), geometrical roughness (SMD), compressional properties (LC, RC) and weight (W) showed high correlation with SPL however, elongation (EM) and shear stiffness (G) did with SPL in Group II.

Until 2000, there were only eight female directors in Korean film history; however, the number of female directors has increased with the number of new movies made and the entrance of new directors. In 2007, there were about seven new female directors and in 2009, there were released 13 movies directed by female. Even though the number of new movies and new entrants of female directors has augmented, the percentage of movies directed by female directors is about 5% of released Korean movies during the past ten years. Moreover, those female directors who enter the Korean film industry are mostly concentrated in low budget independent films. Yet, female directors have been continuously searching and challenging in order to find a way to communicate with general populations. As a result, recently female directors have been noticed in thriller films. This report will analyze how the thriller films directed by female directors have evolved since 2000 based on the status of female directors in commercial films. The report will analyze two thriller films "Helpless" and "Perfect Number", released in 2012.

In this study, we developed a method of improving the surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) response characteristics by depositing a nanoporous Ag metal thin film through cluster source sputtering after forming a pyramidal texture structure on the Si substrate surface. A reactive ion etching (RIE) system with a metal mesh inside the system was used to form a pyramidal texture structure on the Si surface without following a complicated photolithography process, unlike in case of the conventional RIE system. The size of the texture structure increased with the RIE process time. However, after a process time of 60 min, the size of the structure did not increase but tended to saturate. When the RF power increased from 200 to 250 W, the size of the pyramidal texture structure increased from 0.45 to 0.8 ㎛. The SERS response characteristics were measured by depositing approximately 1.5 ㎛ of nanoporous Ag metal thin film through cluster sputtering on the formed texture structure by varying the RIE process conditions. The Raman signal strength of the nanoporous Ag metal thin film deposited on the Si substrate with the texture structure was higher than that deposited on the general silicon substrate by up to 19%. The Raman response characteristics were influenced by the pyramid size and the number of pyramids per unit area but appeared to be influenced more by the number of pyramids per unit area. Therefore, further studies are required in this regard.

Femme Fatale in Film Noir is a wicked woman character who seduces the male partner to a ruin. In the film, the dress style is of extreme importance for the personality creation of the character as well as the development of the plot. With this background, I have looked over the Femme Fatale dress style that appears in the movie . First, it expresses Femme Fatale which stresses the feminine trait by a dress style with enlarged chest and hip parts and long, slim silhouette with tight waist and knee line. Second, the Femme Fatale with pretended purity presents narcissistic satisfaction like a saint virgin by wearing a neck-high one-piece dress embellished with frills, but the use of mirror represents self-alienation and the vanity of purity. Third, the Femme Fatale with its military dress style presents authoritative sternness which leads seduced male into ruin with its destructive power. Fourth, wearing jersey type or knitted wear that sticks to the body presents sensual Femme Fatale. Fifth, the tulle, chiffon, and white handkerchief used for the creation of grotesque Femme Fatale represents harmlessness and prohibition of immoral behavior, and the black gloves, pillbox, and the number on the tulle present her uneasy psychological state from the fear of being discovered after murdering her husband. On the other hand, the see-through tulle presents alluring sensual beauty. Sixth, the combination of the dialogue in the final sequence and drapery type as in Greek goddess represents the saint virgin of salvation who acknowledges her own fault and returns to her purity again. In addition, accessories and others made from shining material represent hidden conspiracy through simple dress and contradictory dynamics, and shoes embellished with bonbon, etc represent sexual implications in connection with male.

Casual games are often have simple rule and easy to play. Like Angry birds, players can sling a bird as a bomb to destroy target. But the film adaption encounters numerous questions. games in pursuit of strong sensed presence, pay attention to experience; film stress the integrity of the story, attaches great importance to plot. However, casual games don't have story and plot. This paper take angry birds as example, analyzes the difficulties and method of adaptation from leisure mobile games to films, summarizes the key successful elements of adaption, such as subdivided the target group, chose an appropriate genre, write a script follow the basic logic and frame of film, set contradiction, complicated the character and still contain key elements of the game, in order to provide new ideas in the future development of integration of game and movie industry.

This article analyzed the new changes Hong Kong director Lin Chaoxian has brought to theme films of Mainland China and the factors affecting these changes. The objects of the analysis are Lin Chaoxian's films (2016), (2018), and (2020). Compared with Mainland China directors suffering from heavy political burden, Dante Lam directed theme films based on the model from commercial films and adopted lots of elements from Hong Kong films. There, the ideology expression in these theme films was no longer rigid, but a diversified value embodiment resonating with the audience. At the same time, these theme films achieved higher commercial value, in which the stereotyped and unrealistic hero images were replaced by realistic and compound characters, and the display of cool or violent action scenes contributed to lots of visual feasts. All the changes were influenced by the audience preferences and the development of private enterprises in Mainland China.

The display industry is transitioning from traditional rigid products such as flat panel displays to flexible or wearable ones designed to be folded or rolled. Accordingly, colorless and optically transparent polyimide (CPI) films are one of the prime candidates to substitute traditional cover glass as a passivation layer to accommodate product flexibility. However, CPI films subjected to repetitive pure bending loads inevitably entail an accumulation of residual strain that can eventually cause wrinkles or delamination in the underlying component after a certain number of static and cyclic loading. The purpose of this study is to establish an experimental method to systematically evaluate the bending residual strain of CPI films. Films were monotonically and cyclically wrapped on mandrels of various diameters to ensure a constant strain in each. After unwrapping the wound CPI film, the residual radius of curvature remaining on the film was measured and converted into residual strain. The critical radius of curvature at which residual strain does not remain was about 5 mm, and the residual strain decreased in proportion to the log time. It is expected that flexible displays can be reliably designed using the data between the applied bending strain and the residual strain.

In the 2000s, Korean cinema maintained the industrial growth on the strength of 10 million audiences and the successful Korean blockbuster. A variety of film materials such as history, politics, social issues, and the division between North and South Korea ideology were addressed in the movies, and one of the movies based on a true story was popular. Accordingly, external size of the film industry has been gradually expanding. Korean public movies have a firm position in the film market, and a diversity of discussion is made as the movies spontaneously get attention. Also, the influence of social media and media which recognized far-reaching powers of public films causes a political and social change, but it also provokes ideology controversy. Objectivity of this study is first to discuss factors and initiating causes that Korean movies have firmly settled as public movies since late 1990s. Secondly, this study considers relation among media, social media. and Korean public film that aroused more arguments on politics, society, and history in 2000s. The powerful influence of films on society not only leads political change but also affects awareness change of audience and the role of social media.

We investigated the effect of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) on the removal of astringency and overall quality of astringent persimmons (Diospyros kaki T. cv. Miryangbansi). Persimmons were packaged in 0.08, 0.10, or 0.12 mm low-density polyethylene film and then stored at $0^{\circ}C$ for up to 100 days. Concentrations of $O_2$ and $CO_2$ in the packaging maintained lower and higher as the film thickness increased Weight loss was strongly retarded by all three MAP films. Soluble tannin content decreased as the film thickness increased. The astringency of persimmons disappeared after 60-70 days in 0.12 mm film, after 80 days in 0.10 mm film, but did not disappear after 100 days in 0.08 mm film Loss of flesh firmness and decline in external appearance were slower in persimmons in 0.08 and 0.10 mm films than in those in 0.12 mm film. Our results show that 0.10 mm LDPE films can be effective for maintaining the quality and removal of the astringency of astringent persimmons.
