1. as following report, bronze-figure manufacture. started already in Jin(秦) monarchy. Bronze-figure had been existed in Ju(周) monarchy by ancient book, which is called Guem-In. And in 221 B.C., bronze-figure was manufactured. 2. In history, acu-figure was manufactured in 1027, Song(宋) Dynasty at first to study medicine. 3. ChunSeong acu-figure etc. were remade but new acu-figure was not. 4. GunRuang acu-figure, etc new acu-figure made in Jin Dynasty. 5. ChimGuem acu-figure are preserved in Korea at now.

In this study, the figure of domestic hardwood was observed using the naked eye and the possibility of substituting imported wood with domestic one in the making woodcraft or furniture was investigated. It was known from the investigation on 8 different hardwoods that there were various figures such as cloud-shaped figure, blister figure, crotch figure, bird's eye figure, etc. in Zelkova serrata wood and the beautiful pigment figure in Diospyros Kaki wood. There were the unusual figures such as wavy grain figure, fiddle back figure, etc. in Cedrela sinensis wood and was clear ray-fleck figure in Quercus variabilis wood. There were also various figures such as wavy grain figure, blister figure, pigment figure, etc. in Sophra japonica, Tilia amurensis, Castanea crenata, Kalopanax septemlobus wood, etc. It is thus that distinguished figures appeared in each kind of wood can be used for craft, sculpture, furniture, and interior material. These kinds of figures can also be used for instrument, toy, stationery, life article material and souvenir, etc. And it can be expected that they will replace the imported wood has been mainly used to make the woodcraft or furniture until now.

According to development of acu-figure which has been existed in Korea, China and Japan through successive generation and conservation status, I classified the process of manufacture of Standard Acu-Figure that is the first manufactured form in Korea historically. And conclusion was as follows. In history, the first acu-figure was manufactured in Song(宋) Dynasty by Wang Yu Il(王維一). after that acu-figure had been made various type in the each countries. In japan, Cheon Seong Acu-Figure(天聖銅人) was imported and preserved and similar shape acu-figure was manufactured. In Korea, Chim Geum Acu-Statue(鍼金銅像) is unique acu-figure that is conservated and exhibited in museum. Standard Acu-Figure was manufactured after the model of standard human body. First step process of standard acu-figure manufacture undertook at my lab, next step, investigation, discussion, reform was proceeded along with other chief professors major in meridian and acupuncture point.

This study was conducted to investigate adolescents' body size and their concerns and perceptions about body image. Group means of heights and weights were 171.5cm and 60.3kg for boys and 159.3cm and 52.3Kg for girls. Body Mass Index(BMI) of the subjects were 20.5 for boys and 20.6 for girls. Only 11.5$\%$ of subjects were overweight or obese, however 42.5% of subjects had experienced weight control, and the main reason for weight control was to lose weight(80.6$\%$). In concern for body image and frequency of eating distrubance ; females had more concern than males, the group who had attempted weight control had more concern than those who had not, and the group who were overweight had more concern than those who were under and normal weight. In perception about body image, using a set of nine figure drawings arranged from very thin to very heavy figures, subjects rated their current figure, considered figure(how they appeared to others), ideal figure, and attractive figure. For boys, the current, ideal, and most attractive figures were almost identical, but for girls, the ideal figure was significantly thinner than current figure and attractive figure was significantly thinner than current figure. The greater the preference for thinner figure as idal and attractive figure, the higher the concern for body image and frequency of eating distrubance. Thus it seems that a distorted perception of ideal body size affects adolescents' concern for body image and eating behaviors.

Chinese figure painting is the earliest type of painting to be mature in the history of Chinese painting. After its peak in the Jin and Tang dynasties, Chinese figure painting turned into a low tide in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Under the influence of the May Fourth New Culture Movement's concept of "introducing the Western culture into China", realistic ink wash figure painting emerged, which was different from traditional painting. Realistic ink wash figure painting is a new kind of painting that combines traditional Chinese painting methods with concepts of Western scientific painting. With the mutual reconciliation of realistic modeling and traditional Chinese painting, it makes up for the shortcomings of traditional Chinese figure painting in reproducing life, thus forming the diversified development of Chinese figure painting. Through an in-depth interpretation of the fusion of Chinese realistic ink figure painting with Chinese and Western, this paper accurately grasps the characteristics of the painting language, which is an important guide to the creation of Chinese realistic ink painting today.

As a sport with artistic characteristics, figure skating draws upon important elements such as costumes, music, melody interpretation, and choreography. The combination of figure skating music and costume is an important influence on scoring, moreover, it forms some images and characteristics of the athlete. The purpose of this study is to consider and analyze the correlation between figure skating music and costumes. The study mostly focuses on the main international competitions from 2008 to 2010, such as the Winter World Figure Skating Championships, Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and gala shows of a single female and male and female pairs, ice dances of the medalists. The concepts and characteristics of figure skating music were examined collected the literature quotes internet sites, photos and video, clips through the homepage and internet sites. Focusing on the medalists of the main international competitions from 2008 to 2010, following the analysis results of figure skating by genre of music, the differences among classical music, pop music, movie music, musical music, folk music have been classified, and according to the features of music genres, the differences of items, colors, details and accessories of clothing were brought out. Depending on the features of music genres, figure skating costumes have been changed of items, colors, materials, details and accessories. Thus, the close correlation between the story of figure skating music and atmosphere has been analyzed. This study contributes to improve the completion of programs which is completed through the development of figure skating costumes design that is regarded specially for the artistic value.

In this paper, methods of human figure representation in computer graphics are described. Many applications of the human figure representation are found in areas including industry, advertisement, and cartoon production and further research for the methods that show the human figure more realistically is ex- pected. Two analytic methods for human model, kinematics and dynamics, are ex- plained and the characteristics of the man-machine interface systems that include human figure representation are presented. Various techniques of the human figure representation based on kinematics or(and) dynamics are discussed and representation methods of human body segments such as hand, face, spine are introduced in this paper.

Satirical cartoon features figure characters that liken to particular figures or social phenomenon to satirize particular figures or social phenomenon. Through the words and actions of figure characters in satirical carton, fraudulentact of man in power or irrational social phenomenon is revealed. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) female agent that is the figure character of this study has been appearing in satirical cartoon for a long time and it likens to social phenomenon instead of a actual figure. The reason why the NIS female agent has been appearing as a figure character in satirical cartoon for a long time is because related social phenomenon has not ended and is still in progress. In addition, the reason why it likens to social phenomenon instead of an actual figure is based on the fact that it is not easy to identify her face that has been hidden, which makes it difficult to exaggerate the characteristic of the figure. Her hidden face is also an expression of the desire to hide that is symbolized by baseball cap and muffler. Her hidden face and the desire to hide make it easy to substitute to other related figure or social phenomenon instead of actual figure. Namely, outward appearance of the NIS female agent has a good condition for combining 'added significance' in satirical cartoon. Irrelevant to actual NIS female agent, a satirical cartoon figure of NIS female agent is being combined with various meanings when needed and it is substituted as another figure, group or social phenomenon as the actual figure disappears. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to reveal the role of figure character in satirical cartoon by symbolically analyzing the figure character that appears in satirical cartoon as 'NIS female agent'. The followings were revealed through the symbolic analysis of figure character in satirical cartoon in this study. First, satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon. Figure character in satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon in place of actual figure. Second, satirical cartoon satirizes core or embarrassing area of irrational social phenomenon created by politics. The meticulous figure painting is one of the wonders of traditional Chinese painting and has blossomed in art history with its unique and interesting style. The period from the Warring States period to the Song and Yuan dynasties was a glorious period in its history, after which it tended to decline due to changes in painting materials and many socio-historical reasons. The extensive cultural exchanges in the world today, the penetration of Western values and the expansion of information technology have brought a huge impact on Chinese meticulous figure painting, which has developed an active way of thinking and expression after absorbing certain elements of Western culture and thought on the basis of inherited tradition. Contemporary Realistic Figure painters continue to explore new developments in meticulous figure painting in the contemporary context, and give contemporary meticulous figure painting a new cultural and ideological connotation, forming a new look that meets the requirements of the times, with richer and more lively content, subject matter and formal language.
