In this study, a wind hazard map over Korea peninsula based on geographical information is developed, which consists of the surface roughness model, the topographical effect model and the homogeneous wind model. The surface roughness model is assessed to evaluate the effect of the surface roughness on the wind field near ground. The topographical effect model is assessed to quantify the effect of the speed-up caused by topology, which is calculated by adopting the topographical effect factor in Korea building code (2005). The homogeneous wind map is created either by a frequency analysis method for meteorological data or a typhoon simulation. The results show that the wind hazard map can be applied to the determination of insurance premium as well as the assessment of loss and damage.

The Long Range Navigation (LORAN) had been mainly used world-wide until GPS (Global Positioning System) activation. In particular. it was essential junctionality for the ships to sail the oceans. However, according to the industry's developing, the current accuracy of Loran is insufficient for the utilization such as the harbour approach, the land navigation and the field of precise timing. Therefore it is necessary the study on the improvement of the positioning accuracy of Loran. The method of its improvement is to measure and compensate the propagation time delay, that is, additional secondary factor (ASF) between the transmitter and user's receiver. This study shows the technique for the absolute time delay measurement without a time of coincidence (TOC) table, and represents the ASF measurement result between Pohang transmitter station(9930M) and each measure points.
After releasing the smart phone equipping the strong computational capability compared to traditional mobil phone, a field of services, which is available on the personal computers, is expanded to smart phone. The development of technology reduces the limited service utilization on time and space but it has a venerability exposing an information to malicious user. Especially we need to more attention when using the financial services which communicate the user's private information. To solve the security problem, OTP(One Time Pad), which uses a private key for a session, is recommended. OTP techniques in smart phone having focused on traditional environments have been proposed and implemented. However, security over mobile environments is more vulnerable to attack and has restriction on resources than traditional system. For this reason, definition of proper conceptual OTP on smart phone is required. In the paper, we present the L-OTP(Location-OTP) protocol, using T-OTP(Time One Time Pad) technique with location information. Proposal generates the OTP using unique location information which is obtained in smart phone.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the green logistics of Korea enterprises. According to participate pan-nationally about environment problems, the field of logistics is required to transfer green logistics like increase efficiency of using energy and construct economic systems. And also environment-friendly policies of enterprises are playing important role. So authors selected and analysed factors through precedent study and questionnaire. Selected factors are cultivation about environment-friendly policy awareness to employees, Utilization environment-friendly resources, decrease of atmosphere pollution substance, company's promotion of outside environment-friendly policy. In order to shed light on these problem, fuzzy AHP method is adopted and the factor of cultivation about environment-friendly policy awareness to employees is the highest weight. And also result of the highest weight between enterprises that set policies about green logistics and factors' are The Korean Air, Glovis, Korea Express synthetically.

A liquid nitrogen ($LN_2$) is usually used to be a coolant and insulant for a HTS coil system. HTS wires for a superconducting apparatus may be surrounded by gaseous nitrogen ($GN_2$) due to film boiling generated by a quench or voids occurred by electrical breakdown. The increased maximum electric field intensity at $GN_2$ may result in the degradation of dielectric strength of a HTS coil system. In this paper, a study on the dielectric characteristics of a composite insulation system composed of $LN_2$ and $GN_2$ is performed. A sphere-to-plane electrode system made with stainless steel is used to perform the experiments under AC and lightning impulse voltage condition. A sphere electrode is surrounded by $GN_2$ and a plane electrode is immersed into $LN_2$ to conduct dielectric experiments with a composite insulation system. The dielectric experiments are performed according to the level of $LN_2$ from the plane electrode to a sphere electrode. It is found that the dielectric characteristics of a composite insulation system are dependent on the level of $LN_2$ and the field utilization factor of an electrode system.
Recent advancements of permanent magnet (PM) materials and solid-state devices have contributed to a substantial performance improvement of permanent magnet machines. Owing to the rare-earth PMs, these motors have higher efficiency, power factor, output power per mass and volume, and better dynamic performance than induction motors without sacrificing reliability. Not surprisingly, they are continuously receiving serious considerations for a variety of automotive and propulsion applications. An electric vehicle (EV) requires a high-effficient propulsion system having a wide operating range and a capability of generating a high peak torque for short durations. The improvement of torque-speed performance for these systems is consequently very important, and researches in various aspects are therefore being actively pursued. A great emphasis has been placed on the efficiency and optimal utilization of PM machines. This requires attention to many aspects related to the machine design and overall performance. In this respect, the prediction of iron losses is particularly indispensable and challenging, especially for drives with a deep field-weakening range. The objective of this paper is to present iron loss estimations of a PM motor over a wide speed range. As aforementioned, in EV applications core losses can be significant during high-speed operation and it is imperative to evaluate these losses accurately and take them into consideration during the motor design stage. In this investigation, the losses are predicted by using an analytical model and a 2D time-stepped finite element method (FEM). The results from different analytical approaches are compared with the FEM computations. The validity of each model is then evaluated by these comparisons.

This study was performed to identify the education and training characteristics and the educational performance of the incumbent. For the enterprise in the rapidly changing market environment, the human resources is an important factor to secure the market competitiveness, and the enterprise promotes the development of competence and the corporate performance through the education and training. However, in spite of such effort, the continuously increasing turnover rate and the low utilization rate of educational contents make the enterprises to hesitate the investment in the education and training. Although, the researchers are conducting lots of researches on the characteristics and the performance of the education and training, the research focusing on the characteristics and the field utilization of the education and training is not sufficient due to such reasons, Therefore, this study intended to draw the factors of education and training characteristics through existing researches and find out what impact they have actually on the utilization in business by the incumbents through the organizational commitment. In the results of this study, it was shown that the self-efficacy do not have impact on the organizational commitment, the appropriateness of instructor ability has positive (+) impact on the continuous commitment and the emotional commitment, and the work correlation has negative impact on the continuous commitment and the emotional commitment. These results seems to mean that the importance of the instructor ability and the educational program should be increased and it is intended to provide the basic data for the education-related personnel and the related enterprises.

Biological control has many advantages as a disease control method, particularly when compared with pesticides. One of the most important benefits is that biological control is an environmental friendly method and does not introduce pollutants into the environment. Another great advantage of this method is its selectivity. Selectivity is the important factor regarding the balance of agricultural ecosystems because a great damage to non target species can lead to the restriction of natural enemies' populations. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effects of several different bacterial isolates on the efficacy of biological control of soil borne diseases. White rot caused by Sclerotium cepivorum was reported to be severe disease of garlic and chive. The antifungal bacteria Burkholderia pyrrocinia CAB08106-4 was tested in field bioassays for its ability to suppress white rot disease. In field tests, B. pyrrocinia CAB08106-4 isolates suppressed white rot in garlic and chive, with the average control efficacies of 69.6% and 58.9%, respectively. In addition, when a culture filtrate of B. pyrrocinia CAB08106-4 was sprayed onto wounded garlic bulbs after inoculation with a Penicillium hirstum spore suspension in a cold storage room ($-2^{\circ}C$), blue mold disease on garlic bulbs was suppressed, with a control efficacy of 79.2%. These results suggested that B. pyrrocinia CAB08106-4 isolates could be used as effective biological control agents against both soil-borne and post-harvest diseases of Liliaceae. Chinese cabbage clubroot caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae was found to be highly virulent in Chinese cabbage, turnips, and cabbage. In this study, the endophytic bacterium Flavobacterium hercynium EPB-C313, which was isolated from Chinese cabbage tissues, was investigated for its antimicrobial activity by inactivating resting spores and its control effects on clubroot disease using bioassays. The bacterial cells, culture solutions, and culture filtrates of F. hercynium EPB-C313 inactivated the resting spores of P. brassicae, with the control efficacies of 90.4%, 36.8%, and 26.0%, respectively. Complex treatments greatly enhanced the control efficacy by 63.7% in a field of 50% diseased plants by incorporating pellets containing organic matter and F. hercynium EPB-C313 in soil, drenching seedlings with a culture solution of F. hercynium EPB-C313, and drenching soil for 10 days after planting. Soft rot caused by Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum was reported to be severe disease to Chinese cabbage in spring seasons. The antifungal bacterium, Bacillus sp. CAB12243-2 suppresses the soft rot disease on Chinese cabbage with 73.0% control efficacy in greenhouse assay. This isolate will increase the utilization of rhizobacteria species as biocontrol agents against soft rot disease of vegetable crops. Sclerotinia rot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum has been reported on lettuce during winter. An antifungal isolate of Pseudomonas corrugata CAB07024-3 was tested in field bioassays for its ability to suppress scleritinia rot. This antagonistic microorganism showed four-year average effects of 63.1% of the control in the same field. Furthermore, P. corrugata CAB07024-3 has a wide antifungal spectrum against plant pathogens, including Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Sclerotium cepivorum, Botrytis cinerea, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Phytophotra capsici, and Pythium myriotylum.

This study tried to examine the factors that affect the entrepreneurial intentions in the field of culture and tourism industry. Through this, it was attempted to present strategic implications for start-up plans to prospective entrepreneurs in the cultural tourism industry. As a result of the study, the following implications were drawn. First, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry need to analyze the start-up items they want to start and systematically design a start-up plan based on market research. Also, by analyzing various start-up cases, it is necessary to secure various prior experiences of failure and success. Second, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry will need to increase their interest in starting a business by completing various entrepreneurship education conducted by more diverse institutions and schools than now, and they will have to increase the sense of achievement and willpower that can appear in education. In addition, by making efforts to create human relationships through various entrepreneurship education, efforts should be made to show the utilization of human networks and information sharing when starting a business. Lastly, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry should visit startup-related institutions and receive education and advice from experts in order to acquire various information. In addition, efforts should be made to provide more diverse start-up support by obtaining information on start-ups implemented by the state.

BACKGROUND: Currently, national biomass inventory are being established for efficient management of the potential energy sources. Among the various types of biomass, agricultural wastes are considered to take the biggest portion of the total annual biomass generated in Korea, implying its importance. However, the currently estimated amount is not reliable because the old reference data are still used to estimate total annual amount of agricultural wastes. METHODS AND RESULTS: Therefore, to provide reliable estimation data, a correct conversion factor obtained by taking into account the current situation is required. For this, the current study was conducted to provide the conversion factors for each representative 8 crop through a field cultivation study. Also conversion factors for 18 crops were calculated using the average amount of each crop produced during 2004 and 2008, subsequently; total amount of agricultural wastes generated in 2009 was estimated using these conversion factors. The total biomass of rice straw and rice husk generated in 2009 were 6.5 and 1.1 million tons, respectively, which consist 75% of the total agricultural based wastes, while the total biomass of pepper shoots and apple pruning twigs were 1.0 and 0.6 million tons, respectively. Despite the high amount of rice-based biomass, their applicability for bio-energy production is low due to conventional utilization of these materials for animal feeds and beds for animal husbandry. In addition to exact estimation of the total biomass, temporal variations in both generated amount and the type of agricultural biomass materials are also important for efficient utilization; fruit pruning twigs (January to March); barley-, been-, and mustard-related waste materials (April to June); rice-related waste (September to October). CONCLUSION(s): Such information provided in this study can be used to establish a master plan for efficient utilization of the agricultural wastes on purpose of bio-energy production.
