메모리 소자의 셀 커패시턴스에 미치는 공정 파라미터 해석 (Analysis of Process Parameters on Cell Capacitances of Memory Devices)

  • 본 연구에서는 DRAM 커패시터의 유전막 박막화를 위한 Load Lock(L/L) LPCVD 시스템을 이용한 적층형 커패시터의 제조 공정이 셀 커패시턴스에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 기존의 non-L/L 장치에 비하여 약 $6{\AA}$의 산화막 유효두께를 낮춤으로 커패시턴스로 환산 시 약 3-4 fF의 차이가 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 절연막으로써 질화막 두께의 측정 범위가 정상적인 관리 범위의 분포임에도 불구하고 Cs는 계산치보다 약 3~6 fF 정도 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 node poly FI CD가 spec 상한치로 관리되어 셀 표면적의 감소를 초래하였고 이는 약 2fF의 Cs 저하를 나타내었다. 따라서 안정적인 Cs의 확보를 위해서는 절연막의 두께 및 CD 관리를 spec 중심값의 10 % 이내로 관리할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다.

Evaluation of Potential Reference Genes for Quantitative RT-PCR Analysis in Fusarium graminearum under Different Culture Conditions

  • The filamentous fungus Fusarium graminearum is an important cereal pathogen. Although quantitative realtime PCR (qRT-PCR) is commonly used to analyze the expression of important fungal genes, no detailed validation of reference genes for the normalization of qRT-PCR data has been performed in this fungus. Here, we evaluated 15 candidate genes as references, including those previously described as housekeeping genes and those selected from the whole transcriptome sequencing data. By a combination of three statistical algorithms (BestKeeper, geNorm, and NormFinder), the variation in the expression of these genes was assessed under different culture conditions that favored mycelial growth, sexual development, and trichothecene mycotoxin production. When favoring mycelial growth, GzFLO and GzUBH expression were most stable in complete medium. Both EF1A and GzRPS16 expression were relatively stable under all conditions on carrot agar, including mycelial growth and the subsequent perithecial induction stage. These two genes were also most stable during trichothecene production. For the combined data set, GzUBH and EF1A were selected as the most stable. Thus, these genes are suitable reference genes for accurate normalization of qRT-PCR data for gene expression analyses of F. graminearum and other related fungi.

안정적 고반복을 위한 지연시간 제어회로가 적용된 커패시터 충전용 전원장치 (A Capacitor Charging Power Supply(CCPS) using Dead Time Control Circuit for Stable High Repetition)

  • Capacitor Charging Power Supply(CCPS) is one of the most important components of a pulsed power system. The CCPS is widely used in source of lasers, accelerators and plasma generators. This paper presents design of a dead time control circuit and operation characteristics for stable high repetition rate of high voltage CCPS. The CCPS consists of battery, high voltage transformer and controller with a dead time control circuit. A dead time control circuit was simulated by PSpice. The performance test of the CCPS was carried out with a 7[nF] load capacitor at output voltage of 50[kV] and a pulse repetition frequency of 100[Hz]. As a result, we can verify that charging and discharging waveform is stable at 100[Hz]. The experiment results indicate that 3[ms] dead time made it possible for stable high repetition rate of 100[Hz]. This paper paves the way for designing an advanced CCPS which is more applicable outside experiments.

지형자료 해상도에 따른 대기 유동장 변화에 관한 수치 연구 (Numerical Study on Atmospheric Flow Variation Associated With the Resolution of Topography)

  • Orographic effect is one of the important factors to induce Local circulations and to make atmospheric turbulence, so it is necessary to use the exact topographic data for prediction of local circulations. In order to clarify the sensitivity of the spatial resolution of topography data, numerical simulations using several topography data with different spatial resolution are carried out under stable and unstable synoptic conditions. The results are as follows: 1) Influence of topographic data resolution on local circulation tends to be stronger at simulation with fine grid than that with coarse grid. 2) The hight of mountains in numerical model become mote reasonable with high resolution topographic data, so the orographic effect is also emphasized and clarified when the topographic data resolution is higher. 2) The higher the topographic resolution is, the stronger the mountain effect is. When used topographic data resolution become fine, topography in numerical model becomes closer to real topography. 3) The topographic effect tends to be stronger when atmospheric stability is strong stable. 4) Although spatial resolution of topographic data is not fundamental factor for dramatic improvement of weather prediction accuracy, some influence on small scale circulation can be recognized, especially in fluid dynamic simulation.

Distribution and attachment characteristics of Sida crystallina (O.F. Müller, 1776) in lentic freshwater ecosystems of South Korea

  • Background: Macrophytes are commonly utilised as habitat by epiphytic species; thus, complex macrophyte structures can support high diversities and abundances of epiphytic species. We tested the hypothesis that the presence of aquatic macrophytes is an important factor determining Sida crystallina (O.F. Muller, 1776) distribution. Results: An ecological survey was conducted in 147 lentic freshwater bodies. S. crystallina was frequently observed, and its density was strongly associated with macrophyte abundance. S. crystallina was found on emergent plant species such as Phragmites australis and Paspalum distichum, attached to the stem surfaces by adhesive substances secreted by the nuchal organ. Thus, S. crystallina was more strongly attached to macrophytes than to other epiphytic cladoceran species. We found higher densities of S. crystallina in filtered water with increased macrophyte shaking effort (i.e. 10, 20, 40, or 80 times). S. crystallina attachment was not related to fish predation. Stable isotope analysis showed that S. crystallina utilises epiphytic organic matter (EOM) on macrophytes as a food source. Conclusions: Consequently, S. crystallina seems to have a strong association with species-specific macrophyte biomass than with other cladoceran species, which may contribute to this species' predominance in various freshwater ecosystems where macrophytes are abundant.

비자기 차폐환경에서 미세자기신호 측정을 위한 고온 초전도 SQUID 자력계의 설계 및 제작 (Designs and Fabrications of High-TC SQUID Magnetometer for Measuring a Weak Signal without Magnetic Shielding)

  • We have designed and fabricated the YBCO single layer directly-coupled SQUID magnetometers for the purpose of magnetocardiography in a magnetically disturbed environment. The SQUID magnetometers were designed three different types of pickup coil such as solid type, PL type I and PL type II for further stable fluxed-locked-loop operation without magnetic shielding. Magnetometer was fabricated with a single layer YBCO thin film deposited on STO(100) bicrystal substrate with misorientation angle of $30^{\circ}$. We have achieved a magnetic field noise BN of 30 fT/$Hz^{1/2}$ at 100 Hz, and less than 70 fT/$Hz^{1/2}$ at 1 Hz. The PL type II SQUIDs have exhibited the most stable fluxed-locked-loop operation in a magnetically unshielded environment.

전류안정부저항회로의 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on composition of current stable negative resistance circuits.)

  • 본논문온 전류안정부저항특성을 나타내는 회로를 구성하는데 있어서, 입력전류가 변하는 어느 구간에서 입력전류의 변화에 따라서, SAMUEL SEELY가 제시한 Beam저항을 도입하여, Beam저항이 감소하는 원리를 적용하였다. 이러한 원리에 따르는 회로의 모델을 트랜지스터 회로로써 구체화하였다. 구체화된 트런지스터회로는 PNP 트런지스터와 NPN트랜지스터와 저항으로 이루어졌다. 이 회로의 전압-전류특성이 안정되도록 하기 위하여 회로를 수정하여 회로의 동작을 추정하여 해석하였다. 추정된 동작과 부저항치를 실험을 통하여 모두 뒷밭침 하였다. 여기서 얻어진 회로은 쟈이레이터의 구성과 SCR동작의 모의화등에 유용하게 이용될 것이며, 전류안정중저항회로의 구성에 관한 평이화를 기하였다.

  • The acid protease was isolated from the culture broth of the Penicillum sp. grown in the wheat bran media. 'quot;The crude purification of this enzyme was carried out by extraction with distilled water and precipitated with saturated ammonium sulfate. " The activity of this enzyme was found to be very strong by Folin′s colorimetric method. The results were as follows. 1. The optimum pH of the enzyme activity was at 3.0 and its optimum temperature was 5$0^{\circ}C$. 2. Although the enzyme activity to hydrolyze casein was maximal at 5$0^{\circ}C$, its activity decreased rapidly by about 50%, treated at 5$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. When treated at 4$0^{\circ}C$ for 60 min, the enzyme activity decreased to 75% of original value and did not decrease any more. 3. The enzyme was stable at pH 2.0 to 6.0. 4. This enzyme activity was not effected by metal ions; C $d^{++}$, Z $n^{++}$, $Co^{++}$, H $g^{++}$, M $n^{++}$, P $b^{++}$, $Mg^{++}$, L $i^{+}$, C $u^{++}$, $Ba^{++}$, A $g^{+}$, $Al^{+++}$, $Ca^{++}$, F $e^{++}$, and F $e^{++}$ 5. Also, it was not effected by treatemnt of EDTA.

  • The metal-carbon σ-bond cluster complexes 1-Mn(CO)5-2-R-1,2-C2B10H10 (R=CH3 Ia, C6H5 Ib) have been prepared in good yields from readily available carboranyl lithium complexes, 1-Li+-2-R-1,2-C2B10H10- (R=CH3, C6H5), by direct reaction with (CO)5MnBr. These manganese metal complexes are rapidly converted to the corresponding manganese metal carbene complexes, 1-[(CO)4Mn=C(OCH3)(CH3)]-2-R-1,2-C2B10H10 (R=CH3 IIIa, C6H5 IIIb), via alkylation with methyllithium followed by O-methylation with CF3SO3CH3. The crystal structure of IIIb was determined by X-ray diffraction. Thus, complex IIIb crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 with cell parameters a=15.5537(5), b=19.0697(5), c=7.4286(3) Å, V=2203.4(1) Å3, and Z=4. Of the reflections measured a total of 3805 unique reflections with F2>3σ(F2) was used during subsequent structure refinement. Refinement converged to R1=0.053 and R2=0.091. Structural studies showed that the manganese atom had a slightly distorted pseudo-octahedral configuration about the metal center with the carbene and ortho-carborane occupying the equatorial plane cis-orientation to each other.

  • A microgrid as a small scale power system is operated by the grid-connected mode and islanded mode. It is anticipated that the battery energy storage system (BESS) is able to be applied to the microgrid for stable power control, such as tie-line and smoothing control in the grid-connected mode and voltage and frequency control in the islanded mode. In this paper, a digital signal processor (DSP), Two BESS controllers based on TMS320F28335 of a microgrid are implemented and are tested to show control performance in the hardware-in-the loop simulation (HILS) system.
