실이에서 여자 음성 /ㅏ/, /ㅣ/, /ㅜ/의 포먼트 주파수 변화 (Formant frequency changes of female voice /a/, /i/, /u/ in real ear)

  • Formant frequencies depend on the position of tongue, the shape of lips, and larynx. In the auditory system, the external ear canal is an open-end resonator, which can modify the voice characteristics. This study investigates the effect of the real ear on formant frequencies. Fifteen subjects ranging from 22 to 30 years of age participated in the study. This study employed three corner vowels: the low central vowel /a/, the high front vowel /i/, and the high back vowel /u/. For this study, the voice of a well-educated undergraduate who majored in speech-language pathology, was recorded with a high performance condenser microphone placed in the upper pinna and in the ear canal. Paired t-test showed that there were significant difference in the formant frequencies of F1, F2, F3, and F4 between the free field and the real ear. For /a/, all formant frequencies decreased significantly in the real ear. For /i/, F2 increased and F3 and F4 decreased. For /u/, F1 and F2 increased, but F3 and F4 decreased. It seems that these voice modifications in the real ear contribute to interpreting voice quality and understanding speech, timbre, and individual characteristics, which are influenced by the shape of the outer ear and external ear canal in such a way that formant frequencies become centralized in the vowel space.

알레르기성 비염환아들의 양도락 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Characteristics of Ryodoraku Score in the Children with Allergic Rhinitis)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of Ryodoraku Score in the children who visited department of pediatrics, hospital of Korean medicine with allergic rhinitis as the chief complaint. Methods Subjects were 80 children with allergic rhinitis. We calculated the average Ryodoraku Score (RS, ${\mu}A$), and compared the average of each meridian system. And we classified the children by several groups (depending on age, additional allergic disease), and accomplished a comparative analysis. Results 1. The average of Ryodoraku Score in 80 children was $76.36{\pm}22.72$. 2. The figure of H3 (心), H5 (三焦), F1 (脾), F2 (肝), F3 (腎), F4 (膀胱), F5 (三焦), F6 (胃) had significant statistical differences compared to the total average. 3. Comparing the group having only allergic rhinitis to group having allergic rhinitis and other allergic disease, showed significant statistical difference in H2 (心包), H3 (心). 4. Analyzed by age, there's a significant statistical difference in F1 (脾), F4 (膀胱). Conclusion We found that H5 (三焦), F1 (脾), F4 (膀胱) showed significant statistical difference in Ryodoraku Score, and F1 (脾) had the highest relevance. The research indicate meaningful difference depending on age, additional allergic disease.

Occurrence of Dry Rot on Cymbidium Orchids Caused by Fusarium spry. in Korea

  • Cymbidium orchids with blight and rot symptoms were collected, and a total of 63 isolates of Fusarium app. was obtained from pseudobulbs, roots, and leaves of the diseased plants. The isolates were identified based on their morphological characteristics. Out of the 63 isolates of Fusatium sup., 51 isolates were identified as F. oxysporum, 10 isolates as F. solani, and the rest as F. proliferatum. F. oxysporum was isolated from all the Cymbidium spp., while F. solani and F. proliferatum were isolated only from Cymbidium ensifolium and C. ginatum, respectively. Isolates of the three Fusarium spp. were tested for pathogenicity to their hosts by artificial inoculation. The strongly pathogenic isolates of Fusarium spp. induced severe dry rot of pseudobulbs and roots of the host plants. The symptoms progressed up to the basal part of the leaves, which later caused blight of the entire plant. The dry root symptoms induced on the plants by artificial inoculation with the isolates of Fusarium app. were similar to those observed in the growers'greenhouses. This is the first report of dry rot of Cymbidium spp. caused by F. oxysporum, F. solani, and F. proliferatum in Korea.

Radiofluorinated Ethyluracil과 Deoxyadenosine을 이용한 종양세포 증식의 영상화에 대한 연구 (Imaging of Tumor Cell Proliferation using Radiofluorinated Ethyluracil and Deoxyadenosine)

  • 목적 : 종양세포의 증식을 평가하기 위해 radiofluorinated ethyluracil (FEU)과 deoxyadenosine analogue(FAD)를 합성하여 종양의 영상화를 시도하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 5-(2-Fluoroethyl)uracil ([$^{18}F$]FEU)은 2, 4-dimethoxy-5-(2-hydroxyethyl) pyrimidine을 $K^{18}F$와 처리한 후 HBr로 가수분해하여 얻었으며 Fluorodeoxyadenosine은 adenosine의 triacetylated analogue를 $K^{18}F$와 처리하여 얻었다. 생물학적 조직분포는 유방암 세포(13762 NF, 100,000 cells per rat, im)를 쥐에 접종한 후 0.5, 1, 2 및 4시간에 주요장기를 적출하여 %ID/g을 측정하고 자가방사영상은 방사성의약품 투여 45분 후에 얻었다. PET 영상은 VX-2 종양을 접종한 가토를 이용하여 얻었다. In vitro cell proliferation assay는 사람의 말초단핵구를 이용하였다. 결 과 : In vitro assay상 ([$^{18}F$]FEU는 세포증식시 DNA/RNA에 결합함을 시사하였다. ([$^{18}F$]FAD와 ([$^{18}F$]FEU의 종양/비종양 방사능 섭취비는 시간경과에 따라 증가하였으며 ([$^{18}F$]FAD와 ([$^{18}F$]FEU를 이용한 자가방사영상과 ([$^{18}F$]FEU를 이용한 PET 영상에서 종양을 잘 관찰할 수 있었다. 결 론 : ([$^{18}F$]FAD 및 ([$^{18}F$]FEU를 이용하여 종양세포의 증식을 PET 영상에서 평가할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

Dissociative adsorption and self-assembly of $CaF_2$ on the Si(001)-$4^{\circ}$ off surface

  • Depositing $CaF_2$[0.6% lattice-mismatch] on the Si(001)-$4^{\circ}$ off surface [composed of a single (001) domain with regularly-arrayed double-layer DB steps and located between (1 1 19) and (1 1 21)] held at $700^{\circ}C$, $CaF_2$ molecules are preferentially adsorbed on the dimers and dissociated to Ca and F atoms. Dissociated Ca atoms form a silicide layer of a $2{\times}3$ structure on the (001) terrace, while F atoms are desorbed from the surface. Once the terrace is covered with a calcium silicide layer, CaF starts to be adsorbed selectively on the steps, as shown in Fig. (a). With $CaF_2$ deposition exceeding 1 ML, the (1 1 17) surface having 1-D $CaF_2$ nanodots are formed as shown in Fig. (b). By the present STM study, it has been clearly disclosed that the calcium silicide interfacial layer is preformed prior to adsorption of $CaF_2$ on vicinal Si(001) surface.

건설기업 신용평가에 있어서 DCiF 모델의 활용에 관한 연구 (The DCiF Model and Credit Evaluation on Korean Construction Companies)

  • 국내 금융기관들의 현행 건설기업 신용평가는 그 자체로서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있고 건설산업의 특성 및 건설경영의 실제에서도 많이 벗어나 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점들을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로서 DCiF(discounted cash Inflow) 모델을 개발하고 이의 적용방법론을 논의한다. 또한 실증자료에 근거하여 건설기업들의 DCiF 지수를 실제로 산출하고 이를 기존의 신용평가모델들과 비교함으로써 DCiF 모델의 변별력을 검증했다. 실증분석결과를 바탕으로 건설기업 신용평가에서의 동 모델의 보다 효율적인 적용을 위한 유의점 및 대안도 제시했다.

체형별 상복동작에 따른 상체의 체표면 변화에 관한 연구 -남자대학생을 중심으로- (A Study on the Variation of the Body surface Area by the Arm movements to Somatotype -The Subject of the College Men-)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify somatotype of males, to show changes of the body skin surface by the somatotype. The size of sample was 156 males between age 20 and 24. Somatotype classified into Bending somatotype, Standard somatotype, Turning over somatotype. And according to the somatotype, changing of the upper part of the body by the arm movements analyzed through gypsum experiment. The result obtained from this study were as follows; 1. the variation of the upper part of the body form by changing the am movements, by the increasing of movements, shoulder-point ws moved to be inside or upside, the anterior armpit point & armpit point were moved to the upside. 2. As a result of investigating into the rate of the expansion and contraction of the basic lines and body surface area by the arm movements, the rate of expansion and contraction of the basic lines by the arm movements, the side sea length showed the maximum rate of extension in 135 degrees, the shoulder length showed the maximum rate of contraction in 135 degrees. The rate of expansion and contraction on the body surface area by the arm movements showed the phenomenon of contraction, of items F1, F6, B1, B9 showed the phenomenon of extension, of items F3, F4, F8, F9, B8, B9. 3. According to somatotypes, items which show the significant difference were, of items f3, f8, b3, b8, F2, F7, F8, B3, B7, in all movements.

In this paper also discuss that L$_{p}$ (A) becomes a metric space with the metric $\rho$ : L$^{p}$ (A) $\times$L$^{p}$ (A) longrightarrow R where $\rho$(f,g)=∥f-g∥$_{p}$ , f,g$\in$L$^{p}$ (A). Then, in this paper prove the Riesz-Fischer theorem, i.e., the space L$^{p}$ (A) is complete and that the space L$^{p}$ (A) is separable.

Odd Harmonious and Strongly Odd Harmonious Graphs

  • A graph G = (V (G), E(G) of order n = |V (G)| and size m = |E(G)| is said to be odd harmonious if there exists an injection $f:V(G){\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;2,\;{\ldots},\;2m-1\}$ such that the induced function $f^*:E(G){\rightarrow}\{1,\;3,\;5,\;{\ldots},\;2m-1\}$ defined by $f^*(uv)=f(u)+f(v)$ is bijection. While a bipartite graph G with partite sets A and B is said to be bigraceful if there exist a pair of injective functions $f_A:A{\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ and $f_B:B{\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ such that the induced labeling on the edges $f_{E(G)}:E(G){\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ defined by $f_{E(G)}(uv)=f_A(u)-f_B(v)$ (with respect to the ordered partition (A, B)), is also injective. In this paper we prove that odd harmonious graphs and bigraceful graphs are equivalent. We also prove that the number of distinct odd harmonious labeled graphs on m edges is m! and the number of distinct strongly odd harmonious labeled graphs on m edges is [m/2]![m/2]!. We prove that the Cartesian product of strongly odd harmonious trees is strongly odd harmonious. We find some new disconnected odd harmonious graphs.

Establishment of automated manufacturing system for high-purity [18F]Sodium fluoride: 3-year production experience

  • A bone metastasis is an important factor for prognosis and treatment of breast or prostate cancer patients. [$^{18}F$]Sodium fluoride ([$^{18}F$]NaF) is a PET radiopharmaceutical that can detect bone metastasis. Conventional [$^{18}F$]NaF production process included radioactive metal impurities because the product was prepared by adding saline after beam irradiation to $[^{18}O]H_2O$. In this study, we apply the method of removing radionuclidic impurities. To meet the criteria prescribed by GMP in quality control, we designed the custom-made [$^{18}F$]NaF automatic module. The mean radiochemical yield was $82.1{\pm}4.4%$ (n = 32) productions for 3 years) and the total preparation time was 4 min. The final produced [$^{18}F$]NaF solution meets the USP criteria for quality control. Thus, this fully automated system is validated for clinical use.
