This study primarily aims to illuminate the characteristics of $Meoreum$ in Korean traditional fitting system according to the respective types and its periodical changes. Using the research findings as a chronological indicator by which to estimate the construction date of the building is the secondary purpose. In this study 42 of $Byeoldang$ and pavilion architecture remaining in $Yeongnam$ district were examined through the field surveys and methods of documentary research. The research results are as follows. First, $Meoreum$, which is located below the windows or doors, provides protection against the outer wind and has the function to prevent some warm air of the room from flowing outside. Second, $Meoreum$ was recorded as $Yoeum$(了音), $Woneum$(遠音), and $Maleum$(末音) in $Yeong-geon-ui-gwe$(營建儀軌) of Joseon period. While $Yoeum$(了音) was used in $Yeong-geon-ui-gwe$(營建儀軌) of 1776 and 1856, $Woneum$(遠音) had been also used continuously since the year of 1800. The word, $Maleum$(末音) can be seen in $Lim-won-gyeong-je-ji$(林園經濟志), published in 1827. $Woneum$(遠音) and $Maleum$(末音) seem to be the $Yi-du$(吏讀) types of expression of $Meoreum$ which is being extensively used now. Third, the kinds of $Meoreum$ can be classified as $TohMeoreum$, $TongMeoreum$, $TongpanMeoreum$, and $JjaneunMeoreum$. $TongMeoreum$ and $TohMeoreum$ were mostly used at the front part of $Ondol-rooms$, the backside of main floor called $Daechung$(大廳), and at the space between $Daechung$ and rooms in the Pavilions and $Byeoldangs$(Annexes) that had been built in the early Joseon dynasty. $TohMeoreum$ was usually used at the bottom parts of windows between $Daechung$ and $Ondol-rooms$. $TongpanMeoreum$ was mainly used in the mid-Joseon period and relatively high height was the distinctive feature of $Meoreum$ at that time. $Jjaneun$ $Meoreum$, used mainly in the late Joseon dynasty, has become lower and lower gradually in height since 19th century, so people could enter the room through the windows(fittings). Such changes in $Meoreums$ types has brought about the flow of human traffic directly from $Toenmaru$, narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room to $Ondol-rooms$.

This study presents an expanded paradigm of the new communication and interactive media that define the reporting year review through the literature on art, experiential mobile communications through a case study of mobile interactive media art that is used as a medium of artistic expression the interactive effect was analyzed as a possible new public art. Convergence and interactivity, mobile interactive media art as a buzzword experience has proposed a new approach to high-tech and art and meet the new sensibility of our life and communication, unlimited possibilities worthy of the contemporary trend of convergence and consilience with a new art genre is expected to continued to evolve and develop.

The light is the language. Directors have to describe the scene component effectively his intention to configure the scene as an appropriately. After this act of the character, the layout of the props and scene lights will enter to the scene components. Those things help to audiences can understand narrative of work and emotion that producer want to send. Expressing their emotions especially using the lights by adjusting the colors and contrast makes audience to concentrate on work and understand naturally. This lighting technique clearly appears on early year theaters stage of England and Rembrandt's paintings. Properly dividing and controlling the lights dramatically increases the beauty of the work elements to express a variety of emotions such as worries and fear. Therefore, it can be evolve depending on director's intent of using lights on his work. Lights can increase involvement of human emotion through basic features that cognition of object, visualization of space-time and by artistic method in the product. This study will examine the role and how to use lighting to express the proper sentiment based on the narrative of the work. Making research named "Lighting Research of 3D animated film which applying light features to express emotion" previous study and have to combine emotional vocabulary and emotion-based theory for classifying the emotional language that can be applied on 3D animation. And choosing most emotional scene from 3D animation for analyze how they used lighting to expressing emotions. Directors trying to show up about the light role through light method that matched perfectly with an emotional language. Expecting this research work of directing 3D animations light for expressing emotional feelings will be continue successfully.

The purpose of this study is to make theoretical examinations into the makeup trend shown in digital communication environment and thereby determine potential associations of makeup trend with digital communication environment and characterize said trend, so that it can provide reference materials required for follow-up studies. This study comes to the following findings: First, it is found that there are sociocultural characteristics of digital communication environment, such as interactivity, technology-orientedness, sentiment-orientedness and mixture of time and space. Secondly, it is found that trends developed in makeup fall categorically into interactivity, virtuality, amusement and mobility. Thirdly, it is found that each type of digital communication adopts a mixture and juxtaposition of contemporary styles or categories with traditional ones through eclectic combination based on open-minded and horizontal ideas. Fourthly, it is found that a trend from digital communication environment doesn't coincide perfectly with any makeup trend, but the former trend works interactively and organically with the latter trend on the basis of homogeneity and similarity within a general framework that represents external esthetics of human being. With the creation of digital communication environment, our contemporary society forms as the complex phenomena of digital society in a combination and destruction of different categories beyond any certain international boundary, so that a hybrid tendency appears in contemporary makeup trend as well. Based on these findings, this study has its implications in the sense that it gives a new viewpoint based on design, formative characteristics and expression styles of makeup, and also provides useful reference materials for related industrial sectors.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the garden details of Carla Scarpa in order to understand his selection and composition of materials, detailing style and symbolism of the spaces. Literature review and a field trip were conducted for the study and the results are as follows. First, Scarpa used vernacular materials such as Murano glass and Istrian limestone, and juxtaposed various materials using contrast of color and texture. His mixed uses of traditional and modern materials shows the passage of time. Second, he create his own detail style such as ziggurat and geometric motif, which make the garden space to look more interesting and rich. Scarpa respected local craftsmanship like glass design and used textile design style such as overlaying. Third, symbolic uses of water features help make narrative and poetic gardens. Scarpa's unique detail style and respects for traditional craftsmanship provide lessons on how to interpretate traditional design style in modern garden.

This study says that giving a life through the mixed power of motions which can not be fixed. It is a fundamental activity of the art of dance. In the fact, the art of dance is defined as the most instinctive and intuitive arts show that dance is a harmony of emotion on the body, thus, this view wants to discuss the relations between "sense and body". This view doesn't focus on the mere motions of dancing form, but characterizes dance as an art of another vitality through the mixture and combination of these motions. In other words, this study emphasizes that dance transcends time and space on stages, and that dance, as an expression of identity, is an art which shows a sense from inside of human. Therefore, when we want to understand the true meaning of the art of dance, we should attend what attributes of dance define it as an art and show its creative. This study, thus, seeing those attributes as the life-giving function of dance, aims to help understand the principle meaning of the art of dance that realizes creation as well as the attitudes of audience who appreciate the art of dance. And by doing so, this study contemplates how we should see the creative idea of choreography, forming sympathy and the art of dance.

To be good at numeration is an important matter in learning mathematics. Unlike the 6-th curriculum, integers are introduced in middle school curriculum for the first time in the 7-th curriculum. Therefore, to help the students team integers systematically and thoroughly, it is necessary that we allow more space for process of introduction, process of operations and practice of operations in the 7-th curriculum text book than that of 6-th curriculum text book. As specific and systemic visualized teaching of operation is especially important in building the concept of operation, by using visualized teaching methods, students can understand the process of operation more fully and systematically. Moreover, students become proficient in operation of positive number and negative numbers by expending this learning process of operations to the operations used absolute value. In 7-th grade mathematics, the expression of positive numbers and negative numbers visually are useful for understanding of operations for numbers. But it is not easy to do so. In this paper we use arrows(directed segments) to express positive numbers and negative numbers visually and apply them to perform the operations for numbers. Using arrows, we can extend the method used in elementary school mathematics to the methods for operations of positive numbers and negative number in 7-th grade mathematics. By experiments, we can know that such processes of introduction for operations are effective and this way helps teachers teach and students learn.

In this study, scenarios based on the leakage of highly compressed air and fire occurrence turned out to be high risks in an operation stage of CAES facility were constructed and estimated. By combining Bernoulli equation with momentum equation, an expression to calculate an impact force of a jet flow of compressed air was derived. An impact force was found to be proportional to the square of diameter of fracture and the pressure of compressed air. Four types of fire scenarios were composed to evaluate an effects that seasonal change and location of fire source have on the spread behavior of smoke. Smoke from the fire ignited in the vicinity of CAES opening descended more quickly below the limit line of breathing than one from the fire occurred 10 m away from CAES opening, which is expected to occur due to a propagation of wave front of smoke. It was shown that a rate of smoke spread of the winter fire is faster than one of the summer fire and smoke from the winter fire spreads farther than one of the summer fire, which are dependent on the direction of air flow into access opening. Evacuation simulation indicated that the required safe evacuation time(RSET) of the summer and winter fires are 262, 670 s each.

In addition to the emphasis on filial piety ethics in everyday life, filial piety obtained a further significance in Confucianism which had the strong sense of ancestor worship. This paper focuses on filial piety as a mechanism of continuity within Confucianism and points out that it owed its development to its connection to agricultural culture. The sedentary life with less mobility forged a relative intimacy among people and filial piety was the actual expression of that kind of intimate affection. Yet, filial piety in Confucianism created a unique culture in terms that it not only stipulated material and emotional support for parents but also expected one's piety to the further ancestors through a memorial service and made its connection to the infinite posterity through sons. From the perspective of Confucianism that established filial piety at the turning point from life to death, the self existing in present was not an isolated self anymore. Yet, one can see another characteristic of Confucianism from that filial piety, based on blood bonds, could move beyond paternalism to broaden itself. It could be expanded to the care for strangers. The aged experience and wisdom through agricultural life begot the insight that the nature made its infinite connections with everything through circulation. As a stone thrown in a pond would enlarge its boundary by drawing larger and larger concentric circles, this thought enabled people to enlarge their affection to their parents to universal humanity. In this enlarged network, though it was natural to make distinctions between the closer and the farther, Confucianism sought to overcome it by establishing oneself upright. Confucianism emphasized the moral cultivation with its filial piety concept that contained the diachronic thought penetrating life and death and the broadened perspective relating everything around. In Confucianism, filial piety provided an important medium in forming a moral subject that penetrated life and death and related self and others. Inherent in it is the Confucius thought of continuity that searched for a paragon of a moral human being regardless of time and space.
