  • A Variable Structure Model Reference Adaptive Controller (VS-MRAC) using state Variables is proposed for single input multi output systems. . The structure of the switching functions is designed based on stability requirements, and global exponential stability is proved. Transient behavior is analyzed using sliding mode control and shows perfect model following at a finite time. The effect of input disturbances on stability and transients is investigated and shows preference to the conventional MRAC schemes with integral adaptation law. Sliding surfaces are independent of system parameters and therefore VS-MRAC is insensitive to system parameter variations. Simulation is presented to clear the theoretical results.

  • This paper discusses the lateral vibration of a bar which has its tip free. The uniform bar has a solution by summation of some simple exponential functions But if its shape is not uniform, its solution could be by Bessel's function, or mathematical solution could not be existed. Enen if the solution of Bessel's function exists. as Bessel function is a series function. we must got the solution by numerical method Hereby the author Proposes the ununiform beam solution of the matrix method by Ritz's method. and Proposes a new deflection shape function.

  • For the evaluation algebra $F[e^{{\pm}x}]_M\;if\;M=\{{\partial}\}$, then $$Der_{non}(F[e^{{\pm}x}]_M)$$ of the evaluation algebra $(F[e^{{\pm}x}]_M)$ is found in the paper [15]. For $M=\{{\partial},\;{\partial}^2\}$, we find $Der_{non}(F[e^{{\pm}x}]_M))$ of the evaluation algebra $F[e^{{\pm}x}]_M$ in this paper. We show that there is a non-associative algebra which is the direct sum of derivation invariant subspaces.

  • It is shown that an appropriate combination of methods, relevant to operational calculus and to special functions, can be a very useful tool to establish and treat a new class of Hermite and Konhauser polynomials. We explore the formal properties of the operational identities to derive a number of properties of the new class of Hermite and Konhauser polynomials and discuss the links with various known polynomials.

  • In this article, we study the reliability equivalence factor of a series system. The failure rates of the system components are functions of time t. we study two cases of non-constat failure rates (i) weibull distribution (ii) linear increasing failure rate distribution. There are two methods are used to improve the given system. Two types of reliability equivalence factors are discussed. Numerical examples are presented to interpret how one can utilize the obtained results.

  • We define the convolutions of Fourier hyperfunctions and show that every strongly decreasing Fourier hyperfunction is a convolutor for the space of Fourier hyperfunctions and the converse is true. Also we show that there are no differential operator with constant coefficients which have a fundamental solution in the space of strongly decreasing Fourier hyperfunctions. Lastly we show that the space of multipliers for the space of Fourier hyperfunctions consists of analytic functions extended to any strip in $\mathbb{C}^n$ which are estimated with a special exponential function exp$(\mu|\chi|)$.

  • In the present paper we investigate the existence of almost periodic processes of ecological systems which are presented with nonautonomous N-dimensional impulsive Lotka Volterra competitive systems with dispersions and fixed moments of impulsive perturbations. By using the techniques of piecewise continuous Lyapunov's functions new sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the unique almost periodic solutions of these systems are given.
