TAMED EXHAUSTION FUNCTIONS AND SCHWARZ TYPE LEMMAS FOR ALMOST HERMITIAN MANIFOLDS

  • In this paper, we study a special exhaustion function on almost Hermitian manifolds and establish the existence result by using the Hessian comparison theorem. From the viewpoint of the exhaustion function, we establish a related Schwarz type lemma for almost holomorphic maps between two almost Hermitian manifolds. As corollaries, we deduce several versions of Schwarz and Liouville type theorems for almost holomorphic maps.

  • T cell exhaustion develops under conditions of antigen-persistence caused by infection with various chronic pathogens, such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and myco-bacterium tuberculosis (TB), or by the development of cancer. T cell exhaustion is characterized by stepwise and progressive loss of T cell function, which is probably the main reason for the failed immunological control of chronic pathogens and cancers. Recent observations have detailed some of the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence the severity of T cell exhaustion. Duration and magnitude of antigenic activation of T cells might be associated with up-regulation of inhibitory receptors, which is a major intrinsic factor of T cell exhaustion. Extrinsic factors might include the production of suppressive cytokines, T cell priming by either non-professional antigenpresenting cells (APCs) or tolerogenic dendritic cells (DCs), and alteration of regulatory T (Treg) cells. Further investigation of the cellular and molecular processes behind the development of T cell exhaustion can reveal therapeutic targets and strategies for the treatment of chronic infections and cancers. Here, we report the properties and the mechanisms of T cell exhaustion in a chronic environment.

  • Companies are making design changes by improving product quality and function to succeed while meeting customer requirements continuously. Design changes are changing the product BOM's amount, item, specification, and shape while causing a change in the product's structure. At this time, the problem of inventory exhaustion of parts before design change is a big topic. If the inventory exhaustion fails, the pieces before the design change become unused and are discarded, resulting in a decrease in asset value, and the quality cost of the design change affects the company's profits. Therefore, it is necessary to decide to minimize quality costs while minimizing waste inventory costs at the time of application of design changes. According to the analysis, priorities should be prioritized according to urgency because the quantity of items before the design change affects the applied lead time.

  • Let X be a hemicompact space with ($K_{n}$) as an admissible exhaustion, and for each n $\in$ N, $A_{n}$ a Banach function algebra on $K_{n}$ with respect to $\parallel.\parallel_n$ such that $A_{n+1}\midK_{n}$$\subsetA_n$ and${\parallel}f{\mid}K_n{\parallel}_n{\leq}{\parallel}f{\parallel}_{n+1}$ for all f$\in$$A_{n+1}$, We consider the subalgebra A = { f $\in$ C(X) : $\forall_n\;{\epsilon}\;\mathbb{N}$ of C(X) as a frechet function algebra and give a result related to its spectrum when each $A_{n}$ is natural. We also show that if X is moreover noncompact, then any closed subalgebra of A cannot be topologized as a regular Frechet Q-algebra. As an application, the Lipschitzalgebra of infinitely differentiable functions is considered.d.

중학생의 정신건강과 학업소진의 단기종단연구 (A short-term longitudinal study of mental health and academic burnout among middle school students)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 정신건강과 학업소진의 변화 간의 관계를 살펴본 단기종단연구이다. 연구대상은 서울지역 중학교 남학생 161명, 여학생 216명, 성별무응답 32명으로 총 409명이며, 측정도구는 간이정신진단검사 척도(SCL-47)와 학업소진 척도(MBI-SS)를 사용하였다. 중학생의 정신건강과 학업소진에 있어서 개인 내적인 변화의 양상을 파악하기 위하여 회귀방정식을 통해 표준화된 잔차를 산출하였고, 이를 변화량으로 사용하여 정준상관분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 함수 1에서 정신건강의 하위요인들 가운데 특히 우울, 강박, 불안, 적대감이 모두 함께 감소할 때는 학업소진의 하위요인 중 탈진과 냉소가 함께 감소하였다. 다시 말해, 우울, 강박, 불안, 적대감의 증가는 학업 탈진과 냉소의 증가와 관련성 있게 나타난다. 둘째, 함수 2에서 정신건강 하위요인들 가운데 강박은 증가하면서 불안과 우울이 감소할 때는 탈진은 감소하고 냉소는 증가하였다. 이 결과를 러셀의 정서차원 이론에 적용해 보면, 중학생의 정신건강에서 비각성과 각성영역의 두 차원 모두의 증상이 증가할 때엔 학업 탈진과 냉소가 함께 증가하였으며, 각성 영역에서 공포불안과 강박이 증가하고, 또 각성 영역의 불안과 비각성 영역의 우울이 감소할 때엔 탈진은 감소하고 냉소는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학업 탈진과 냉소를 함께 경험하는 중학생들에게는 각성 정서와 비각성 정서에 대한 종합적인 개입이 필요하고, 탈진은 감소하고 냉소만 증가하는 중학생들에게는 각성 정서의 완화에 초점을 둔 개입이 적절할 것으로 보인다. 본 연구는 청소년의 정신건강과 학업소진의 관련성을 밝힘으로써 학교와 상담 현장에서 학생들에 대한 이해를 높이고 차별화된 상담개입방법을 마련했다는 데 의의가 있다.

Effects of acute reducing salt supplementation on cardio-respiratory function, blood pressure and serum nitric oxide production in elite players

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes of body composition, cardio-respiratory function in ventilation threshold (VT) and maximal state exercise, systolic (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and serum nitric oxide (NO) production during acute reducing salt (RS) supplementation in college elite athletes. Variables of cardio-respiratory function during rest, ventilation threshold and maximal exercise was not shown a significantly difference between RS supplementation and non-supplementation, there was shown a significant increase in ventilation threshold time (p<0.05) and exhaustion time (p<0.05) during RS supplement compared to non-supplement. SBP and DBP were not shown a significant difference between RS supplement and non-supplement. This result suggests that acute intake of RS is not increased a blood pressure. Serum NO production was not significant difference in the RS supplement group, but it was shown a significantly increased levels (p<0.01, vs. recovery 30 min.) immediately after maximal exercise in the non-supplement group. This result suggests that acute intake of RS have important role in inhibition of serum NO production during maximal exercise. Conclusively, This study suggest that acute intake of RS was not influence in body composition variables, but it was positive effect in ventilation threshold time, exhaustion time, maintenance of blood pressure and inhibition of serum NO production in maximal treadmill exercise.

미세 간질중첩증에서의 역설적 편측화 (Paradoxical Lateralization of Convulsive Movements in a Subtle Status Epilepticus)

  • Background : Subtle status epilepticus (SE) is an end-stage of convulsive SE. This phenomenon might be a clinical expression of neuronal exhaustion caused by sustained electrical discharges. As subtle SE may show diverse clinical features, early detection depends on clinical suspicion. Case : A 68-year-old woman was presented with repetitive involuntary movement of right limbs after two generalized tonic-clonic seizures. She experienced right middle cerebral artery infarction 4 months ago, and after the event, left side hemiplegia sustained. These seizures were first-ever after the cerebral infarction. Orientation and verbal responses were fairly preserved but general cognitive function was minimally slowed. During the video-EEG monitoring, repetitive sharp waves were noted in the right hemisphere and these sharp waves occasionally spread to the contralateral side. Her right side involuntary movement was identifiable when the epileptic discharges were found on her right hemisphere. Conclusion : We suggested that this unexpected convulsive movement is a reflection of earlier exhaustion in the right hemisphere or deefferentation of right hemisphere because of preexisting neuronal damage.

무용수의 인구사회학적 변인에 따른 스트레스와 탈진 차이 (Differences in Stress and Burnout of Dancers on Sociological Variable)

  • 본 연구는 무용수의 성별, 연령, 경력, 소속에 따른 스트레스와 탈진의 노출 정도를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 무용에 종사하는 무용수를 대상으로 설문조사가 이루어졌다. 총 535부가 통계분석에 사용되었으며, 독립 t 검정과 일원변량분석을 실시하여 검정이 이루어졌다. 분석 결과, 무용전공자들의 성별과 전공, 경력, 소속에 따라 탈진 정도가 유의한 차이가 나타났고(p<.05), 성별, 경력, 소속에 따라 스트레스의 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 스트레스 수준에 따라 탈진 하위변인인 정서적 고갈, 수행저하, 의욕상실에 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.01). 위의 결과를 바탕으로 무용수들의 심리적 안정감을 유지하고 무용수행력을 향상 시킬 수 있도록 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다.

GEOMETRIC CHARACTERIZATION OF q-PSEUDOCONVEX DOMAINS IN ℂn

  • In this paper, we investigate the notion of q-pseudoconvexity to discuss and describe some geometric characterizations of q-pseudoconvex domains ${\Omega}{\subset}{\mathbb{C}}^n$. In particular, we establish that ${\Omega}$ is q-pseudoconvex, if and only if, for every boundary point, the Levi form of the boundary is semipositive on the intersection of the holomorphic tangent space to the boundary with any (n-q+1)-dimensional subspace $E{\subset}{\mathbb{C}}^n$. Furthermore, we prove that the Kiselman's minimum principal holds true for all q-pseudoconvex domains in ${\mathbb{C}}^p{\times}{\mathbb{C}}^n$ such that each slice is a convex tube in ${\mathbb{C}}^n$.

  • Now days, the marketing environment is rapidly changed. Therefore, a lot of companies try to reduce production cost. Especially, Design is a important activities in new product development. While the concepts of design for manufacturable and concurrent engineering have made significant advances in integrating the design function with other areas in the firm. There are still major gaps in timely and accurate costing information available to designers. Inappropriate design could result in high redesign cost and delay in product relation. The generation of design and improvement is a time-consuming and mentally exhaustion process. It involves combining design features to generate as many potential design as possible. As not all features combinations are feasible, decision-makers have to narrow down the potential solutions and subsequently select appropriate design for further development. This new study is composed of 3 steps aiming at the Low Cost Design of the product. The three steps are consisted that setting up the target Cost, estimating the current functional cost, the design of a unit's reviewing according to the priority of the difference between the target cost and the functional cost.
