  • The importance of the evaluation and verification of small-size cogeneration system has been emphasized because there is no KS-code related to the small-size cogeneration system. The evaluation method of small-size engine cogeneration system was investigated by the reference of Japan evaluation code, JIS B-8122 and international standard organization, ISO-8528. Evaluation method was introduced such as start-test, rapid-load-up and rapid-load-down, etc. The evaluation method was applied to the 300kW small-size gas engine cogeneration system newly developed. The precise and strict evaluation and verification of the system will help the developing cogeneration system to optimum condition. It will also be a base document of KS-Code.

  • Existing environmental measuring devices mainly focus on electromagnetic wave and eco-friendly product certification and durability test, and sensor reliability verification and verification of measurement data are conducted mainly through sensor performance evaluation through type approval and registration, acceptance test, initial calibration, and periodic test. This platform has established an ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor reliability verification system that supports not only performance evaluation for each target sensor, but also a verification system for sensor data reliability. A sensor board to collect sensor data for environmental information was produced, and a sensor and data reliability evaluation and verification service system was standardized. In addition, to evaluate and verify the reliability of sensor data based on ICT, a sensor data platform monitoring prototype using LoRa communication was produced, and the test was conducted in smart cities. To analyze the data received through the system, an optimization algorithm was developed using machine learning. Through this, a sensor big data analysis system is established for reliability verification, and the foundation for an integrated evaluation and verification system is provide.

  • As sewerage works has become one of the major public works in Korea, the employment of advanced and more appropriate sewerage technology has become essential to improve the efficiency of sewerage works. During last 10 years, the Korean Government has made tremendous amount of investment on sewerage works so that treatment plants in 58 cities have treatment capacity which is equivalent to 52.8% of total daily sewage generation in Korea. This remarkable development, however, has heavily depended on one technology, the conventional activated sludge process as more than 95% of the existing plants employ this process, Recently, the Korean Government and local authorities have plans to introduce more appropriate sewage treatment technologies and research and development in this area has become very active. To encourage employing new and appropriate technologies, however, the proper technology evaluation and verification program for new process is needed. The public sector should play a key role in this program since the sewerage works is one of the major public works. In this paper, the technology evaluation and verification programs related with sewerage facilities in the US and Japan are briefly reviewed. The Innovatived and Alternative Technology programs which was operated by US EPA until recently and Environmental Technology Verification(ETV) program which was commenced in 1995 are introduced. The technology verification programs operated in Japan and also in Korea are also reviewed in this paper to propose a future direction for development of the appropriate evaluation and verification system.

  • The importance of the evaluation and verification of small-size cogeneration system has been emphasized because there is no KS-code related to the small-size cogeneration system. The evaluation method of small-size engine cogeneration system, regarding Japanese standard JIS B-8122 and international standard organization, ISO-8528, was applied to the system. The evaluation methods, start-test, rapid-load-up and rapid-load-down, etc. were executed at the system, and reasonable results were acquired. The electrical and thermal efficiencies were executed and analyzed at various load conditions. The NOx emission at various load condition was also measured. Finally, the gas engine cogeneration system was installed to a site for actual usage and it was continually operated during more than 6 months as the site condition.

  • This paper is a research on an evaluating method for the dynamic signature verification system. It is described about various factors such as error rate, the size of signature verification engine, the size of the characteristic vectors of a signature, the ability to distinguish similar signatures, the processing speed of signature verification and so on. This study identifies factors to consider in evaluating signature verification systems comprehensively and objectively without an officially approved signature database, examines the meaning of each of the factors, and proposes criteria for evaluating and analyzing the factors.

  • With the increase in the risk of GPS jamming, the development and application of anti-jamming GPS techniques have been actively performed. As the objective performance verification of developed techniques is important, equipment development for verification and discussion on anti-jamming performance test method and procedure have also been conducted. However, most tests are related to the specification of equipment and therefore detailed procedure of the performance verification of an anti-jamming system needs to be developed. In this study, requirements for anti-jamming performance verification were described, and test configurations and performance evaluation items depending on three kinds of test methods (lab test, basic outdoor test, and chamber test) were suggested for anti-jamming performance verification.

  • The Police are classed special service on civil service system. Most of special service officers are applied special personnal law. It is for this reason that organization and mission are different from general public officials. The police performance evaluation is enforced in dissimilar form with another civil services for these cause. This study proposed to verification formality about appraisal result to desirable operation of police performancce evaluation system. At system enforcement early, it may be desirable that verification is limited finally supervisors rating.

  • In this study we suggest a method of optimization of verification hierarchy structure and system requirements management by using a verification matrix with traceability consideration. Verification items were gathered in the process of CDR(Critical Design Review), and analyzed with respect to requirements traceability structure. Missed or overlapped items were adjusted, and cross-correlated items between sub-systems were clustered and rearranged in order to structurize verification requrements (VRs). Those VRs are to be used as a guideline for the test and evaluation planning, development of test items and procedure, and system requirements management throughout the system integration stages.

  • It is well known that efficient management and thorough implementation of stakeholder requirements is vital for a successful development of a large-scale and complex system. Equally important is to make sure that all the requirements be correctly realized in the developed system. For the purpose, verification requirements are derived with traceability from the system requirements. This paper discusses a step by step process for constructing the requirements verification model which includes : 1) the schema modeling both requirements and their traceability; 2) the template documenting the verification requirements; 3) the verification model constructed from the schema; and 4) the test and evaluation plan that can be printed automatically.

To prevent these security incident and protect information that belongs to government and company, Security system has developed such as antivirus, firewall, IPS, VPN, and other network security system. Network security systems should be selected based on purpose, usage and cost. Verification for network security product's basic features performed in a variety of ways at home and abroad, but consumers who buy these network security product, just rely on the information presented at companies. Therefore, common user doing self performance evaluation for perform Verification before buying network security product but these verification depends on inaccurate data which based on some user's criteria. On this paper, we designing methodology of network security system performance evaluation focused on Korean using other cases of performance evaluation.
