시니어클럽의 현황 및 정책과제: 노인일자리사업을 중심으로 (Current Status and Policy Issues of Senior Clubs: With Focus on Senior Employment Programs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시니어클럽의 현황 전반에 대해 살펴보고, 노인일자리사업을 중심으로 시니어 클럽의 정책과제를 모색함에 있다. 시니어클럽의 현황에서 법적 근거, 조직, 사업 유형, 재원, 사업 성과, 그리고 운영상 어려움(낮은 수익 산출, 높은 노동 강도와 저임금, 부족한 예산 지원, 사업수행의 법적 근거 미약)에 대해 살펴 보았다. 향후 시니어클럽의 정책과제로 1) 시니어클럽의 역할 정립(지역노인일자리사업의 거점, 지역특성에 적합한 시장형 노인일자리사업 수행 주체, 노인인식 증진 및 노인역량 강화를 통한 지역사회 변화의 구심체), 2) 노인일자리의 질적 향상(욕구반영 및 지속 가능한 노인일자리 창출, 노인일자리사업 교육의 내실화, 실무자의 근무여건 향상, 민·관 지원연계 및 파트너십 구축), 3) 노인일자리사업 관련 법 제·개정 등을 제시하였다.

연구 패러다임에 따른 프로그램 평가모형의 특징 고찰 (An Investigation on Characteristics of Program Evaluation Model according to Research Paradigm)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the research paradigm and to explore the characteristics and limitations of the representative evaluation models belonging to each paradigm. The research paradigm is Positivism, Interpretivism, Critical Theory, and Postmodernism. The evaluation models that represent each paradigm include Objective-oriented evaluation model, Forth generation evaluation model, Empowerment evaluation model, Connoisseurship & Criticism model. The characteristics of each evaluation model reflects the characteristics of their own research paradigm.

저소득 노인의 사회참여에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Social Participation of the Elderly Living in Poverty)

  • Elderly people living in poverty are one of the most vulnerable population groups who are at risk of experiencing social exclusion. Social participation is an important contributing factor to active aging and social integration of the older adults living in poverty. This study aims to identify factors affecting social participation of the poor elderly. Data from the second wave of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing was used for the analyses and 1,346 poor elderly aged over 65 were analyzed. The findings showed that age, education, health status, a level of depression, financial stress, and economic activity were associated with the social participation of the elderly living in poverty. These results indicated that psychological empowerment and specific needs of the older adults living in poverty should be considered in developing services and programs to promote social participation of the poor elderly.

  • Knowledge of health and community psychology in health professionals influences psychosocial and community determinants of health and promoting participation in disease prevention at the community level. This paper appraises the potential of knowledge on psychology in health care professionals and its contribution to community empowerment through individual behavior change and health practice. The authors proposed a schematic model for the use of psychological knowledge in health professionals to promote participation in health interventions/disease prevention programs in developing countries. By implication, the paper provides a vision on policies towards supporting breast cancer secondary prevention efforts for community health development in Asian countries.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relative variables between lifelong education practice and lifelong education leader's characteristics in village that personal characteristics, educational participation, network characteristics and empowerment characteristics. The results of this are as follows: Firstly, the village lifelong education leaders of women, low ages, high educational background, longer living and much leadership experiences in village have been practicing the lifelong education in village. Secondly, the village lifelong education leaders who have participated much more the programs have been practicing the lifelong education in village. Thirdly, the empowerments for the village lifelong education leader are understand the residents in village, operation and management technology of program, positive attitude and voluntary thoughts.

우리나라 기후 변화 교육의 방향에 관한 고찰 (Thoughts on Climate Change Education In Korea)

  • Facing the issue of global climate change, it is important for environmental educators to prepare a person who is able to understand of, communicate about, and make informed decisions on the climate change. Climate change education is to help learners understand of human influence on climate and climate's influence on them and society. This study was conducted in a way to discuss how climate change education could be implemented in Korean context. For this purpose, several documents and research articles on climate change education and communication were analyzed: Climate literacy, guidelines for K-12 global climate change education, and guidelines for effective climate change communication and message and so on. Many of the documents emphasize age appropriateness, positive thinking, participation and empowerment in climate change education while suggesting not to burden young learners with fears. Some documents such as the climate literacy suggest key concepts and/or essential principles of climate change education. Based upon the analysis, several considerations to incorporate the concepts in climate change into educational programs were suggested for further discussions.

사회적 취약계층의 사회적 배제에 대한 문화복지 프로그램의 기능 - 문화복지실천가 대상 질적연구 - (A Study about the Function of Culture Welfare Programs for Dissolving Social Exclusion about the Social Vulnerable Classes - A Qualitative Research Focused on the Culture Welfare Practitioners -)

  • 본 연구는 문화복지프로그램을 통한 사회적 취약계층의 사회적 배제 해소가능성을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문화복지실천가 대상 인터뷰를 토대로 기노시다(木下康仁)에 의해 창안된 수정근거이론(Modified Grounded Theory Approach)을 활용한 질적 분석을 시도하였다. 분석결과 문화복지프로그램은 사회적 취약계층에게 다양한 문화향유기회의 제공을 통해 이들의 잠재적 역량과 자존감을 증진시켜줌으로써 주체적 변화를 통한 사회적 배제 해소가능성을 보여주었다. 문화복지프로그램은 다양한 창작체험기회 제공, 과정중심의 비정형적 프로그램 운영, 프로그램 참여자의 주체화, 공동체활동 등의 접근전략을 통하여 참여자들의 창의적 역량과 자존감을 증진시키고 공동체적 연대의식을 강화시키는 기능을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 실제로 사회적 취약계층은 문화복지프로그램을 통하여 정서적 충족감을 느끼고 가족 및 대인관계의 향상, 긍정적 자아상 확립, 역량강화, 공동체활동 참여 등 삶의 변화를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사회복지서비스가 취약계층의 사회적 배제를 해소시키기 위해서는 기존의 선별주의적 사회복지프로그램에 문화를 접목시킨 보편적 사회복지 프로그램으로의 전환 필요성을 시사해 주고 있다.

ADHD 치료에서 가족치료캠프의 적용 (Application of Family Treatment Camp in Treatment of ADHD)

  • Objectives : Demands for comprehensive and intensive treatment programs for treatment of children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who suffer from serious impairment in various psychosocial areas are increasing. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possibility of developing new types of camp programs focused on improving social adjustment of children and helping parents effectively manage their children's problem behaviors. Methods : Fifteen children diagnosed as ADHD according to Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV (mean age 9.5 years) and their parents participated in this program. Eight consecutive camps were held at two-week intervals, from Jun 2007 to Oct 2007 in an adolescent training center located at Chungtaesan, in Korea. Each camp program included social skills training in the classroom and outdoor activities in the forest for children, as well as parent training for mothers. In addition, after the sixth camp, we conducted one parental session for fathers and a three-day booster family camp three months later. Finally, eleven families adhered to the program. Results : All children, parents, and therapists rated questionnaires or checklists at baseline, intra-, and post-treatment. Parenting burden rated using the Parenting Stress Index showed a significant decrease, from 57.89 to 46.22 (p=.019). And, overprotection rated using the Parenting Bonding Instrument showed a significant decrease, from 16.56 to 12.44 (p=.046). However, no significant improvement in children's behavioral and emotional problems was observed. Conclusion : In this study, the consecutive ADHD family camp program was effective for empowerment of parental competency, but not for general improvement of children's behavioral and emotional symptoms.

직무열의의 선행요인 및 결과변수에 관한 연구: 서울소재 특 1급 호텔 식음료 부서를 중심으로 (Antecedents and Consequence of Job Engagement: Focused on Food & Beverage Departments at Super Deluxe Hotels in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 특 1급 호텔 식음료 부서의 종사원을 대상으로 직무열의의 선행요인(인정, 권한위임, 공정한 보상, 절차공정성, 조직지원인식)을 고찰하여 결수변수(이직의도)에 미치는 인과관계를 규명해 보고자 하였다. 실증연구를 위해 확보된 402개의 표본을 바탕으로 연구모형의 신뢰성, 적합성 등을 검토하였고, 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 총 6개의 가설을 검증하였으며, 모형의 적합도는 ${\chi}^2=668.894$(p<.001), df=373, CMIN/DF=1.794, GFI=.901, AGFI=.877, NFI=.928, CFI=.967, RMSEA=.044 등으로 조사되었다. 연구결과, 직무열의의 선행요인 중 인정, 권한위임, 공정한 보상, 절차공정성, 조직지원인식은 직무열의에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었으며, 이러한 직무열의는 이직의도에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 조사되었다. 이를 통해 최적의 조직(직무)환경은 종사원들의 직무열의를 높여줌으로써 이직의도는 감소한다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 특급호텔 식음료 부서에서는 효과적인 인적자원 관리 측면에서 다양한 세분화된 내부마케팅 방안들이 모색되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 끝으로 이론적, 실무적 시사점과 더불어 연구의 한계 및 향후 연구방향에 대해서도 논의하였다.

부모역할 지원정책의 개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Pilot Study for Developing Parenting-Aid Policies)

  • The aim of this study was to assist the development of parenting-aid policies by analyzing information from life perspectives, family system theory, and integrated family policy perspectives. For this purpose, we conducted a literature using a variety of sources including internet sites, laws, published material related to current parenting-aid policies. Based on analyses we formulated four agendas: empowering parent competency, supporting diverse family parenting, guaranteeing parent's rights, and supporting parenting of dual-income families parenting. The results were as follow: Firstly, for empowering parent competency, we proposed the development of family relationship empowerment programs including family life cycle and children-raising support services. Secondly, for diverse family parenting, we proposed access to integrated parenting-aid programs dependent on family types. Thirdly, for guaranteeing parent’s rights, we proposed the supporting of child raising costs and tax returns to families with children, and provide child allowances. Finally, for dual-income family parenting, we proposed that schools and communities must recognize that dual-income families are a universal family type, establish family friendly business culture, and to develop a more democratic domestic family-relationship. This policy proposed a new paradigm where parents must be recognized as partners and stakeholder in development of family related policies. Ultimately, such policies will contribute to increased birth rate and development of a more respectful society.
