상담군과 비상담군 아동의 어머니에게서 나타난 정서표현성, 정서표현양가성 및 의사소통유형, 양육행동의 차이 (A Comparative Study on Mothers in Counseling and Mothers in Non-counseling Groups : Emotional Expressiveness, Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness, Type of Communication, Parenting Behavior)

  • This research was a comparative study of children's mothers in counseling and mothers in non-counseling (comparison) groups to examine differences between groups in emotional expressiveness, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, type of communication and parenting behavior, Subjects were 91 mothers having counseling and 133 mothers in the non-counseling group. Data were analyzed by independent samples t-test. Results showed that mothers in the non-counseling group reported more positive emotional expressiveness than the counseling group. Mothers in the counseling group reported more ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, more negative communications and more negative parenting behavior than the comparison group.

어머니의 촉진적 의사소통과 아동의 정서지능이 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향 (Social Competence : Effect of Mother's Facilitative Communication and Child's Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study examined the effects of mother's facilitative communication and child's emotional intelligence on social competence. Subjects were 474 students in the $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grades of two elementary schools located in Seoul. Data were analyzed by the SAS statistics program. Findings were that mother's facilitative communication has an effect on child's social competence and on emotional intelligence. Higher perception of child's own emotional ability was associated with higher sociability, social participation and leadership. Increased perception of the emotional ability of others was associated with higher sociability, interpersonal adjustment, social participation, leadership, and popularity.

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of a family nursing practicum using role play on emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance of nursing students. Methods: Role play training was provided to nursing students who took a community health nursing practicum (family nursing practicum). During the course for 2 weeks, participants were given role play practice for four times and a final test using role play at the end of the course. Data were collected from 52 nursing students before and after the family nurse practicum who agreed to participate in this study. Results: The scores of emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance at post test were enhanced significantly compared to the scores at pre test. Conclusion: Nursing educators in family nursing can consider role play to improve emotional intelligence and communication ability as well as family nursing performance.

청소년의 부모-자녀의사소통, 정서지능 및 부모화경험이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parent-Adolescent Communication, Emotional Intelligence and Parentification on the Psychological Well-being of Adolescents)

  • This study investigates the effects of parent-adolescent communication, emotional intelligence and parentification on the psychological well-being of adolescents. Participants were 712 middle and high school students from Seoul. The collected data were analyzed through a Cronbach's $\alpha$, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The results are as follows: 1) While parent-adolescent communication, parentification, and psychological well-being differed by grade, emotional intelligence did not differ by grade. 2) Father-adolescent communication, regulation of emotion, expression of emotion, practice of emotion, recognition of emotion and mother-adolescent communication were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of middle school students. 3) The recognition of emotion, father-adolescent communication, practice of emotion, regulation of emotion, and mother-adolescent communication were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of high school students. 4) Emotional intelligence played a partially mediating role in the relationship between parent-adolescent communication and psychological well-being.

노인 환자를 돌보는 간호사가 경험하는 감정노동과 의사소통능력이 노인간호 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Emotional Labor and Communication Competence on Geriatric Nursing-related Stress in Nurses Caring for Older Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional labor and communication competence on geriatric nursing in nurses-related stress in nurses caring for older patients. Methods: The sample consisted of 147 general hospital nurses. Data were analyzed through the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The factors of emotional labor (β=.38, p<.001)and positive communication competence (β=-.20, p=.021) had the greatest influence on the level of stress related to geriatric nursing in nurses caring for older patients. The total explanatory power was 20.3%. Conclusion: It was found that emotional labor and communication competence were influencing factors in the stress related to geriatric nursing. Therefore, to improve nurses' stress related to geriatric nursing, strategies to manage the emotional labor, and to strengthen and develop positive communication competence need to be developed.

고객 접점에서의 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응과 점포 충성도에 미치는 영향 - 판매원 신뢰성과 매력성의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (The Effects of Communication on Emotional Responses and Store Loyalty at Customer Contact - Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Salesperson's Attributes -)

  • 본 연구는 고객 접점에서 판매원과의 커뮤니케이션이 고객의 감정적 반응과 점포 충성도에 미치는 영향에 있어 판매원이 갖추고 있는 속성에 따른 효과의 차이를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 첫째, 고객 접점에서 고객과 판매원 사이에 일어나는 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응과 점포 충성도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 둘째, 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응에 미치는 영향에 있어 긍정적 감정과 부정적 감정 외에 환기에 미치는 영향 또한 고려하여 이를 검증하였다. 셋째, 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응과 점포충성도에 미치는 영향에 있어 언어적 커뮤니케이션과 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 영향력과 함께 그 두 차원의 상대적 영향력의 차이를 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 판매원의 속성인 신뢰성과 매력성을 조절변수로 하여 그에 따른 효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 설문 조사는 자기기입식 설문지법을 사용하였으며, 가설검정을 위해 Amos4.0을 이용한 구조방정식에 따른 인과관계를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과, 첫째, 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 커뮤니케이션이 긍정적 감정, 부정적 감정과 함께 환기에 미치는 영향 또한 선행연구와는 달리 유의하게 나타남을 확인하였다. 둘째, 감정적 반응 또한 점포 충성도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 언어적 커뮤니케이션과 비언어적 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응에 미치는 영향력은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 커뮤니케이션이 감정적 반응에 미치는 영향은 판매원의 속성에 따라 차이가 있어, 커뮤니케이션과 판매원 속성 간에 상호작용 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 선행 연구들의 실증적 재확인을 넘어, 판매원 속성을 포함한 변수들 간의 관계 전반에 있어 이론적인 확장을 제공하고자 하였다.

소상공인 커뮤니케이션 능력과 고객지향적 행동 관계에서 감정노동의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Emotional Labor in the relationships between Communication Ability and Customer Oriented Behaviors: Focusing upon Self-Employed Businessmen)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제주지역 소상공인을 대상으로 소상공인의 커뮤니케이션 능력과 고객지향적 행동의 관계에서 감정노동(표면조절, 심층조절)의 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 구체적으로 커뮤니케이션 능력의 고객지향적 행동 및 감정노동(표면조절, 심층조절)에 대한 영향력 관계, 감정노동(표면조절, 심층조절)의 고객지향적 행동의 주효과, 그리고 커뮤니케이션 능력과 고객지향적 행동의 관계에서 감정노동(표면조절, 심층조절)의 매개효과 검증이다. 분석에 활용된 자료는 제주지역의 소상공인 270명으로부터 획득된 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 소상공인 커뮤니케이션 능력은 고객지향적 행동 및 감정노동에 영향을 미치고, 감정노동 가운데 표면조절만이 고객지향적 행동에 영향력이 있으며, 표면조절은 양자관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 소상공인 커뮤니케이션 능력이 서비스접점에서 주요한 능력임을 입증하는 것이며, 서비스 제공자의 커뮤니케이션 연구에 유용한 시사점을 제안하고 있다.

정신간호사와 일반간호사의 감성지능, 촉진적 의사소통능력 -및 의사소통 갈등 비교 (Comparison of Psychiatric and Clinical Nurses on Emotional Intelligence, Facilitative communication ability and Communication Conflicts)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정신간호사와 일반간호사를 대상으로 감성지능, 촉진적 의사소통능력 및 의사소통갈등을 비교 확인함으로써 각 임상실무 영역에서의 간호사의 감성지능과 촉진적 의사소통능력을 향상시키고, 의사소통갈등을 감소시키기 위한 대안을 모색하는데 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 두 집단의 감성지능, 촉진적 의사소통능력과 의사소통갈등을 비교 평가하기 위해서 ANCOVA 분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 일반간호사의 감성지능, 촉진적 의사소통능력 및 의사소통 갈등 점수가 정신간호사 보다 높게 나타났다. 따라서 정신간호사의 감성지능과 촉진적 의사소통능력을 증진시키기 위한 프로그램 및 일반간호사의 의사 소통 갈등을 감소시키기 위한 임상현장 교육프로그램 개발을 제언한다.

Design of Model to Recognize Emotional States in a Speech

  • Verbal communication is the most commonly used mean of communication. A spoken word carries a lot of informations about speakers and their emotional states. In this paper we designed a model to recognize emotional states in a speech, a first phase of two phases in developing a toy machine that recognizes emotional states in a speech. We conducted an experiment to extract and analyse the emotional state of a speaker in relation with speech. To analyse the signal output we referred to three characteristics of sound as vector inputs and they are the followings: frequency, intensity, and period of tones. Also we made use of eight basic emotional parameters: surprise, anger, sadness, expectancy, acceptance, joy, hate, and fear which were portrayed by five selected students. In order to facilitate the differentiation of each spectrum features, we used the wavelet transform analysis. We applied ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) in designing an emotion recognition model from a speech. In our findings, inference error was about 10%. The result of our experiment reveals that about 85% of the model applied is effective and reliable.

과업 상호의존성과 정서적 조직몰입이 구성원의 양방향 커뮤니케이션과 지식공유에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Task Interdependence and Emotional Commitment on Employees' Two-way Communication and Their Knowledge Sharing)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of two-way communication and knowledge sharing on the task performance of employees in the interdependent task structure in organizations. Based on the theories of social interdependence and organizational commitment, this study hypothesized the effects of task interdependency and emotional commitment on two-way communication and knowledge sharing, followed by the effects of these variables on the task performance of employees. Design/methodology/approach Survey results show that task interdependence and emotional commitment have positive effects on the degree of two-way communication and knowledge sharing. Two-way communication also has a positive impact on knowledge sharing, and knowledge sharing also improved the task performance of members. However, the relationship between two-way communication and task performance shows no significant impact. Findings Theoretically, this study is meaningful in that the process of task interdependence in relation to emotional commitment leading to task performance is theorized. In practice, this research suggests it is important to improve employees' two-way communication and knowledge sharing in order to lead to increase task performance in the interdependent task environment.
