다각형 기반의 Q-Learning과 Cascade SVM을 이용한 군집로봇의 목표물 추적 알고리즘 (Object Tracking Algorithm of Swarm Robot System for using Polygon Based Q-Learning and Cascade SVM)

  • This paper presents the polygon-based Q-leaning and Cascade Support Vector Machine algorithm for object search with multiple robots. We organized an experimental environment with ten mobile robots, twenty five obstacles, and an object, and then we sent the robots to a hallway, where some obstacles were lying about, to search for a hidden object. In experiment, we used four different control methods: a random search, a fusion model with Distance-based action making (DBAM) and Area-based action making (ABAM) process to determine the next action of the robots, and hexagon-based Q-learning and dodecagon-based Q-learning and Cascade SVM to enhance the fusion model with DBAM and ABAM process.

  • One of the most famous proactive routing protocols, DSDV (Destination -Sequenced Distance-Vector), is based on the minimum hop count. This paper suggests BIMP(Bypass Information Multi-Path) DSDV routing protocol that this protocol could route reliably as it can take the information of the bypass for the solution of the problem on EHMP DSDV. In this paper, the protocol checks throughput, packet delivery delay, packet delivery ratio, number of management messages, packet transmit finish time, etc on the traffic compared to DSDV, HMP DSDV, and EHMP DSDV protocols.

  • This study attempted to develop a speech recognition module applied to a wheelchair for the physically handicapped. In the proposed speech recognition module, TMS320C32 was used as a main processor and Mel-Cepstrum 12 Order was applied to the pro-processor step to increase the recognition rate in a noisy environment. DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) was used and proven to be excellent output for the speaker-dependent recognition part. In order to utilize this algorithm more effectively, the reference data was compressed to 1/12 using vector quantization so as to decrease memory. In this paper, the necessary diverse technology (End-point detection, DMA processing, etc.) was managed so as to utilize the speech recognition system in real time

  • Recently, as interest of wearable devices has increased, commercially available smart wristbands and applications have been used as a tool for personal healthy management. However most previous studies have focused on evaluating the accuracy and reliability of the technical problems of wearable devices, especially step counts, walking distance, and energy consumption measured from the smart wristbands. In this study, we propose a physical activity evaluation model using classification rules, induced from the associative classification mining approach. These rules associated with five physical activities were generated by considering activities and walking times in target heart rate zones such as 'Out-of Zone', 'Fat Burn Zone', 'Cardio Zone', and 'Peak Zone'. In the experiment, we evaluated the prediction power of classification rules and verified its effectiveness by comparing classification accuracies between the proposed model and support vector machine.

  • This paper describes the steering control and geomagnetism cancellation for an autonomous mobile robotusing MR sensors. The magnetic-resistive (MR) sensor obtains the vector summation of the magnetic fields from embedded magnets and the Earth. The robot is controlled by the magnetic fields from embedded magnets. So, geomagnetism is the disturbance in the steering control system. In this paper, we propose a new method of the sensor arrangement in order to remove the geomagnetism and robotbody interference. Dynamic Adjustment of Hello and Hold Timer in AODV Routing Protocol

  • Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol and its variants employ two important timers, hello and hold timer to keep track of topology changes. Moreover, hold timer is computed by multiplying constant value to hello timer. But, this configuration leads to inaccurate settings of hold timer. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a new dynamic adjustment of hello and hold timer scheme by removing dependency between them. A new metric to measure mobility is applied into hello timer, while expected link lifetime does holder timer. Simulation results show a significant reduction in the number of messages, a fact suggesting that it is possible to maintain and in some cases improve the performance of AODV with a minimum amount of messages released into the network.

  • This paper proposes facial feature tracking based on modified ART2 neural networks. And we also suggest new measurement devices such as 'Persistence Exponent' and 'Moving Space Exponent' for the criterion of input vector which consists features. The proposed methods have been applied to classify 48 students by 2-class (ADHD positive, ADHD negative). The results of the experiment have shown that the proposed methods are effective for ADHD Behavior Pattern Classification based on the Image Processing.

SYMMETRY AND UNIQUENESS OF EMBEDDED MINIMAL HYPERSURFACES IN ℝn+1

  • In this paper, we prove some rigidity results about embedded minimal hypersurface M ⊂ ℝn+1 with compact ∂M that has one end which is regular at infinity. We first show that if M ⊂ ℝn+1 meets a hyperplane in a constant angle ≥ ��/2, then M is part of an n-dimensional catenoid. We show that if M meets a sphere in a constant angle and ∂M lies in a hemisphere determined by the hyperplane through the center of the sphere and perpendicular to the limit normal vector nM of the end, then M is part of either a hyperplane or an n-dimensional catenoid. We also show that if M is tangent to a C2 convex hypersurface S, which is symmetric about a hyperplane P and nM is parallel to P, then M is also symmetric about P. In special, if S is rotationally symmetric about the xn+1-axis and nM = en+1, then M is also rotationally symmetric about the xn+1-axis.

  • There have been various research efforts for pedestrian recognition in embedded imaging systems. However, many suffer from their heavy computational complexities. SVM classification method has been widely used for pedestrian recognition. The reduction of candidate region is crucial for low-complexity scheme. In this paper, We propose a real time HOG based pedestrian detection system on GPU which images are captured by a pair of cameras. To speed up humans on road detection, the proposed method reduces a number of detection windows with disparity-search and near-search algorithm and uses the GPU and the NVIDIA CUDA framework. This method can be achieved speedups of 20% or more compared to the recent GPU implementations. The effectiveness of our algorithm is demonstrated in terms of the processing time and the detection performance.

  • System on panel 프레임 버퍼를 위한 메모리 셀 어레이와 주변회로가 설계되었다. 또한, system on panel 공정의 낮은 yield를 극복하기 위해, 블럭 단위의 parallel test 방안이 제안되었다. 기존의 메모리 테스트 보다 빠르게 fault detection이 가능하며, 다양한 embedded memory나 일반 SRAM 테스트 분야에도 적용 가능하다. 또한 기존의 다양한 test vector pattern이 그대로 적용될 수 있어 fault coverage가 높고, 최근의 추세인 hierarchical bit line과 divided word line 구조에도 적용될 수 있다.
