TQM which has been applied to the industry area is widely accepted to the non-for-profit area and public sector. Especially educational institution including university and college has adopted TQM as a competitive weapon in several developed countries such as United States and United Kingdom. But there is no interest in the Korean educational area except for several colleges which have got ISO 9000 certification. In this study, we analyzed several best-practiced foreign colleges which have applied TQM to improve their competitiveness. Also, we tried to explore the applicability of TQM to the Korean educational area by developing TQM model for 'S' college.

Recently one level higher intelligent switching board than established one by the application of intelligent building and digital system are being constructed. Therefore facility's high efficiency, high degree satisfaction, miniaturaization, standardization through application of communication technology and monitoring and controlling by computer system utilized by web-basis power control system and electric IT are practiced. Especially network must be constructed through unified IBS server that monitors every educational institute's switching boards in real time control system. And I intend to create methods to save energy and raise electricity quality by power demand prediction and remote-controled management and operation. In this thesis I intend to suggest measures of forming unified system through researching educational institute's ways of constructing switching board and status analysis and overcoming technical difficulties in user's side and saving and maintenance expense.

모든 대학들이 예외없이 경쟁력 강화에 전력을 다하고 있는 현실에서 교육의 질 향상과 비용절감은 대학들이 당면하고 있는 긴급하고도 중대한 과제이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문은 변화하는 대학교육환경, 정보통신기술(ICT)을 바탕으로 한 교육 개선 방법들, 그리고 교과목 개편의 성공적 사례들에 대한 기술을 한 후에 질 향상과 비용절감을 동시에 추구하려는 e-Education 실행을 위하여 어떻게 ICT를 이용해야 하는가에 대한 전략적 틀을 제시한다.

This plan for the Medical and Information Technology University which is built by the will and support of Korea at the small county Kingdom of Swaziland in Africa. As we consider the essential condition of self-supporting of nation is the education for the poor country in culturally and socially. The establish the University in the downtown is a significant work in socially and culturally as the urban infrastructure. Besides, this is presenting the master plan not only educational institution purpose but the place for the desirable communication between regional resident in educational and cultural circumstances. It is the main concept for this plan that flexible arrangement of the lower stories buildings on the gentle hill according to the geographic features of the field, road situation, supporting equipment, construction ability and Building materials.

Data mining is the application of specific algorithms for extracting patterns from data and KDD is the automated or convenient extraction of patterns representing knowledge implicitly stored or captured in large databases, data warehouses, the Web, other massive information repositories or data streams. Data mining can be used for decision making in educational system. But educational institution does not use any knowledge discovery process approach on these data; this knowledge can be used to increase the quality of education. The problem was happening in the educational management system, but to make education system more flexible and discover knowledge from it huge data, we will use data mining techniques to solve problem.

본 연구는 유아교육기관장의 변혁적 리더십 유형이 기관 운영관리에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울시내 기관 50개를 임의로 선정하여 유아교육기관 교사 174명을 대상으로 기관장의 리더십 유형과 유아교육기관 운영관리 정도를 측정하였다. 수집된 설문지를 토대로 신뢰도 검증, 독립표본 t 검증, 단순 상관관계 분석과 중다회귀 분석을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기관장의 변혁적 리더십의 인식과 기관 운영관리 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 변혁적 리더십에 대한 전반적인 인식도는 높았고, 두 연구변인 간에 의미 있는 정적상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 기관 교사들의 개인적 변인에 따른 리더십유형에 차이 분석결과 학력에 따라(대졸이상-전문대졸이하)도덕적 리더십에는 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 부분적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십이 기관운영에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석결과 변혁적 리더십이 기관 운영관리에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 정치적, 교육적, 문화적 리더십 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 의미는 유아교육기관들이 지속적인 변화와 경쟁, 정책 및 관리감독 강화를 통한 보육의 질을 요구받고 있다는 점에서 그 어느 때보다 기관장들의 변혁적 리더십을 중요하다는 것을 시사한다.

Economists have identified informed consumer choice as one element of a better-functioning health care market, and thus increased attention is directed to the role of information in the health care system. In this country, however, little work has been done for understanding consumers' search behavior in health care market. Based upon this observation, expectant mothers' information search for the choice of delivery care institution was investigated. In doing so, two hypotheses were proposed: 1) Those women who were more active in the search for information would make choice of a delivery care institution with more confidence and would feel greater subsequent satisfaction. 2) The activeness of expectant mothers in information search would depend upon their various personal characteristics, such as socio-economic status, obstetric conditions, and knowledge and attitudes in relation to delivery and health care. The data used for the analysis were collected through face-to-face interviews with those women who had childbirth during the period from January 1, 1996 to the date of interview in February 1998. The survey was conducted using prepared structured questionnaire in Seoul. The sample was drawn from each of arbitrarily defined four regions of Seoul, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest, in proportion to the number of births reported in 1996 in each of them. The distribution of the interviewed women by educational level was made similar to that of mothers of new babies reported in 1996. The sample size was planned to be about 300, but ended up with 319. The results of analysis were generally consistent with the proposed hypotheses. Apparently, information increased expectant mothers' confidence in selecting a delivery care institution and subsequent satisfaction with the institution. Indication is that policy efforts should be strengthened to produce and disseminate relevant, comprehensible and credible information that can aid patient decision making. Also, attention should be directed to motivate patients to actively engage in information search from adequate sources.

Objectives : The aim is to examine what a selective factor of dental institution in the elderly is, which can be used as a strategy for vitalizing hospital management, and which difference there is in selection of dental institution according to health-promotion lifestyle. Methods : Questionnaire survey of individual interview was carried out targeting 177 old people in over 65 years old of Jeonju, Iksan, and Gunsan in Jeollabuk-do Province by convenience sampling from August 16, 2010 to August 27. The analysis was performed by using SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Results : 1. The average mark of health-promotion lifestyle in the elderly was 2.69 points. The health responsibility was the highest with 2.91 points. 2. The mark of health-promotion lifestyle was higher in the higher educational level of the elderly(p<0.01), when monthly income is more than 2 million won(p<0.01), and in the better subjective awareness of oral condition(p<0.01). 3. The group with high mark of health-promotion lifestyle regarded reliability(p<0.001), economic efficiency(p<0.01), and facilities & cleanliness(p<0.01) as important factors when selecting dental institution. Conclusions : The development and expansion in health-promotion program targeting the elderly are seen to be necessary that reflect difference by sphere in health-promotion lifestyle. There will be necessity for pursuing even a strategy for the elderly in the group who have relatively low characteristic in the practice level of health-promotion lifestyle. Also, given understanding characteristics on the elderly and focusing on management proper for the needs of medical consumers, the successful medical management is thought to be likely possible.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of educational institutions and majors on Learning Participatory Motivation of Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and Job Technical Colleges that are operating academic degrees on bachelor of fashion and associate of industrial arts in Academic Credit Bank System. The significance of this study is to provide basic information for educational institutions to promote efficient operation and devise a strategy for reinforcing educational competitiveness according to individual Learning Participatory Motivation and purpose of learners. In this study, educational institutions were classified into Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and Job Technical Colleges operating academic degrees in Academic Credit Bank System. Degrees were divided into bachelor of fashion and associate of industrial arts, and majors were divided into fashion design and fashion business for bachelor of fashion and fashion design and fashion business for associate of industrial arts. Looking at Learning Participatory Motivation of learners, factors selected by learners as considerations for registration and selection of currently affiliated educational institution were found to be 'acquisition of degree at a university' and 'acquisition of degree' for Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities and fashion design major, and 'for employment' and 'acquisition of new knowledge and skill' for Job Technical Colleges and fashion business major.
