The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to derive the direction of future elementary science curriculum books through delphi study of science education experts. To this end, a panel of 18 experts was formed and two delphi investigations were conducted. By analyzing the mean, median, and CVR values for each item in the Delphi survey, the priorities of changes in science education for the future society and the validity of each item's implementation method were verified. In addition, by synthesizing this, the direction of future elementary science textbooks was derived. As a result, the future elementary science textbook can be 'fun and interesting science study', 'exploration performance-oriented learning' and 'science that enjoys and participates even as an adult'. It should be developed to prepare for culture. For this, it is necessary to use materials in real life, and it is necessary to present an experiment that stimulates curiosity and easy access using materials and preparations with high accessibility. In addition, it is necessary to develop a textbook for learning that science is a discipline that is highly connected with real life, and that it is also related to future career paths.
As the non-face-to-face situation continues for a long time due to COVID-19, the underlying technologies of the 4th industrial revolution such as IOT, AR, VR, and big data are affecting the metaverse platform overall. Such changes in the external environment such as society and culture can affect the development of academics, and it is very important to systematically organize existing achievements in preparation for changes. The Korea Educational Research Information Service (RISS) collected data including the 'metaverse platform' in the keyword and used the text mining technique, one of the big data analysis. The collected data were analyzed for word cloud frequency, connection strength between keywords, and semantic network analysis to examine the trends of metaverse platform research. As a result of the study, keywords appeared in the order of 'use', 'digital', 'technology', and 'education' in word cloud analysis. As a result of analyzing the connection strength (N-gram) between keywords, 'Edue→Tech' showed the highest connection strength and a total of three clusters of word chain clusters were derived. Detailed research areas were classified into five areas, including 'digital technology'. Considering the analysis results comprehensively, It seems necessary to discover and discuss more active research topics from the long-term perspective of developing a metaverse platform.

The purpose of the curriculum guidelines is specified, and the following is given: "To properly recognize the diversity of the world culture; To acquire knowledge on cultural diversity; To grasp important functions in the city life, and to have attitudes and qualities required as members of the world, and to develop a pluralistic literacy ability''. In the textbooks, the subjects of the cultural diversity education are mainly based on the curriculum standards, the education area of the 7th grade is the 'human community life', the education area of the 8th grade is the origin and development of the Chinese civilization, Suggesting the scope of the theme 'harmonious coexistence with the world'. In order to analyze cultural diversity education in response to the demands of the times, we analyzed three factors such as diversity, identity, and interrelationship.
This narrative study aims to describe the experience of P.E. assessment that was conducted by P.E. teachers of Korea Science Academy of KAIST, and interpret the educational significance that was found in the process. The study participants were two P.E. teachers who were selected by decisive case sampling method. Data were collected mainly through official interviews with study participants, and through researcher's field notes, informal interviews, various minutes, students' evaluation of teaching, and emails between the researcher and study participants. Data were analyzed through inductive categorization, and to gain veracity of the study, there were integration of diverse materials, advice and suggestions of fellow researchers, continuous confirmation of study texts by study participants. Study participants, while conducting P.E. assessment in Korea Science Academy of KAIST, experienced effectiveness of evaluation such as qualitative development of P,E. classes in accordance with the simplified assessment, freedom from the chores of handling assessment results, students' improved perceptions of P.E. class, realization of safe classes without excessive competition, and the possibility of giving alternative evaluations to pass/fail system but at the same time experienced limitations such as concerns over gaining validity and reliability of P.E. evaluation, the students' attitude who take lightly of P.E. class, and the reality that teachers cannot fail students. The evaluation experiences of the two P.E teachers were educationally interpreted as encounter with good P.E. classes, invitation to P.E. class criticism, and the start of school P.E. culture that is led by students.
The demand for lifelong education is increasing. Individuals, organizations, and groups are creating an environment where anyone can learn anytime, anywhere while conducting educational and learning activities. Recently, English education of educational institutions is gradually invigorated as the importance of English education for preschooler is increasing. Role-play, in particular, is known as an effective way to learn English for children because it promotes children's interest in language and naturally encounters English-speaking culture. Therefore, in this paper, we tried to find out how to effectively use UCC in role-playing for English education for preschoolers. First of all, questionnaires for pre and post-test were conducted for preschoolers. The results are analyzed by SPSS to find out children's understanding of UCC, interest in English, interest in role-playing, and interest in acting. As a result of the analysis, most children knew UCC well and showed strong interest in watching and producing UCC. Also, the more interested in English and role-playing, the more they wanted to show more advanced English and acting through the feedback of the contents they produced. Therefore, even in preschool children's English education, the development of language and acting can be shown by producing UCC through role-playing under the teacher's control and receiving feedback on it. The results of this study are expected to be effectively used when planning English education through role-playing in daycare centers or kindergartens.

The aim of this study is to investigate to which degree farmers did the crop switching and cultivar renewal as a confrontational strategy to climate change, and which problems they had in that process, and then to provide the supporting plans for them. We conducted a questionnaire survey of 15 citrus farmers of the KNCAP graduates in Jeju Island. Most of the survey respondents agreed to the climate change of Jeju Island and the subtropical climate of its coastal area. The farmers have experienced irregular weather such as abnormal high temperature, frequent rain, and droughts, resulting in the harmful insects and new weeds attack. As the climate change strategies, they are adopting a greenhouse culture system, improving a soil drainage using reorganization of planting space, making a new pest management program, and trying to switch a crop to subtropical fruits. It is expected that 50% of the survey respondents have changed their crops or will do; and 73 % of them have changed cultivar or have a plan to do. Only a few farmers directly pointed to a reason for their efforts to change the crops or to renew the cultivars as the anti-climate change strategy, however, most farmers answered the reason was to increase profitability by meeting their consumers' tastes. Presently, it is not the anti-climate change strategy but increase of profitability by meeting the consumers' needs the reason why most of the survey respondents have changed their crops or renewed the cultivars, while a few of them switched their crops to a subtropical fruit trees due to climate change. On the crop switching, they had some difficulties such as a labor shortage, availability of land, operating costs and instable income. On the cultivar renewal, also, they encountered the lack of cultivating techniques for new cultivars and the dim future for the new market. In long-term perspective, Jeju's farmers need new information and educational programs about the effect of climate change on agriculture of Jeju, and cultivation techniques for new crops and new cultivars.

This study is a descriptive research study to analyze the effects of grit in nursing students on self-directed learning ability and adjustment to university life. Data was collected from 260 nursing students including first and second-year nursing students in Region C University. The data was analyzed to find relationships among grit, self-directed learning ability, and college life adjustment using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed the subdomains of grit in which grit in nursing students affected self-directed learning ability were consistency of interest (t=2.423, p<.05) and perseverance of effort (t=3.761, p<.001). The explanation power of the regression model was 40.2%, which was a statistically significant result (F=23.609, p<.001). The subdomains of grit in which grit in nursing students affected adjustment to college life were the consistency of interest (t=3.112, p<.001) and perseverance of effort (t=3.930, p<.001). The explanation power of the regression model was 43.2%, which was a statistically significant result (F=30.608, p<.001). These results show that it is necessary to develop educational programs to enhance individual nursing students' grit, self-directed learning ability, and college-life adjustment.
Objective : This study assessed ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence system based on a large language model, for its ability to pass the National Korean Occupational Therapy Licensure Examination (NKOTLE). Methods : Using NKOTLE questions from 2018 to 2022, provided by the Korea Health and Medical Personnel Examination Institute, this study employed English prompts to determine the accuracy of ChatGPT in providing correct answers. Two researchers independently conducted the entire process, and the average accuracy of both researchers was used to determine whether ChatGPT passed over the 5-year period. The degree of agreement between ChatGPT answers of the two researchers was assessed. Results : ChatGPT passed the 2020 examination but failed to pass the other 4 years' examination. Specifically, its accuracy in questions related to medical regulations ranged from 25% to 57%, whereas its accuracy in other questions exceeded 60%. ChatGPT exhibited a strong agreement between researchers, except for medical regulation questions, and this agreement was significantly correlated with accuracy. Conclusion : There are still limitations to the application of ChatGPT to answer questions influenced by language or culture. Future studies should explore its potential as an educational tool for students majoring in occupational therapy through optimized prompts and continuous learning from the data.
