누가 '산업체 수요 조사'를 수요하는가? : 추격형 수요기반 공학교육의 역설 (Who demands the Survey of Industry Demand?: Paradox of Demand-Based Engineering Education Under Catch-up Paradigm)

  • In Korea, engineering education based on industry demand is highly emphasized; the survey of industry demand or company satisfaction is frequently conducted. Although engineering schools have often attempted and implemented the reform of engineering education, it was found that company satisfaction with college education was always low. In this context, this study aimed to find the cause of the low satisfaction. To this end, the social background for the active survey of industry demand and company satisfaction, and its progress were investigated. The findings of this study showed that the survey of industry demand in Korea has limitations in improving the quality of college education or developing its future demand, contrary to its intention. This industry demand based approach has its historical and social root in the Korea-specific model of the catching-up style industry development and technology innovation. Therefore, it is difficult to establish appropriate academy-industry relations and discover future vision based on this model. This study presents a new way to understand and develop the future-oriented industrial and social demand, not just arguing for the uselessness of the survey of industry demand in engineering education.

교육 수요 조사를 통한 스마트 수산 양식 분야의 융합형 인재 양성 교육 프로그램 개발 방향 설정을 위한 탐색적 연구 (An exploratory study on establishment of a development direction on education training program for cultivating convergence human resources in smart aquaculture through a demand survey)

  • The objective of this study is to develop education programs for cultivating smart aquaculture experts through a education demand survey of industries, high school students, university (graduate) students and field workers. The industry demand analysis was conducted as an in-depth interview on representives from seven companies. Education demand surveys were conducted on 96 students and field workers in the Jeonnam region. Results on the demand survey were analyzed using frequency analysis and cross-analysis. The company representatives responded that they want to participated in internship and retraining programs to proactively secure manpowers with convergence capabilities about smart aquaculture. Seven companies preferred manpowers with basic competencies on ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) or aquaculture. The most respondents in the demand survey want to participate in the education program for experience on advanced technology, self-development and enhancement of work capability. On the other hand, some respondents said that the education is time-consuming and that the education program does not fit their level. Thus, the education program should be developed in a way to minimize the spatial and temporal limitations of education targets and to improve understanding of non-majors by reflecting the demands of human resources in the industrial field.

한·중 소비자의 공정무역에 대한 인식, 제품 구매의도와 소비자교육 요구 (A Study on Korean and Chinese Consumers' Cognition, Product Purchase Intention and Consumer Demand for Fair Trade Education)

  • Fair trade is international trade that pays just wages, supplies stable and eco-friendly products, and supports the sustainable development of economies. This study examined consumers 'cognition of fair trade, product intention of fair trade products, and consumer demand for fair trade education. We compare these variables between Korean and Chinese consumers and explored variables that affect consumers' cognition, purchase intentions and consumer education demand. This study randomly targeted 428 adult consumers in Seoul (219) and Beijing (209) to grasp the demand of customer education and a purchasing intention for fair trade products. The results of this study are as follows. First, participants showed a low cognition of fair trade and purchase intention, while consumer demand for fair trade education on concept, campaign and effect had a comparatively higher level. Chinese consumers showed a higher level of purchase intention, but a lower level of consumer education demand for fair trade concepts. Second, a higher education level resulted in a higher cognition of fair trade by Korean consumers and more experienced Chinese consumers had a higher cognition. Third, the cognition of fair trade affected the purchase intentions positively for both in Korean and Chinese consumers. Finally, cognition and purchase intention showed positive effects of the consumer demand for fair trade education on concept, campaign, and effect.

가정복지서비스 프로그램개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study on Development of Family Welfare Service Program)

  • The purpose of this study were to identify the differences between the demand for education program and the demand for counseling program of family welfare and to analyze the relation between demographic characteristics and the demand for family welfare service program For these purposes, total sample of 909 women those residing in Seoul, Inchon, Taejun, Taegu, Pusan, Kwangju, Chungju, Junju and Choonchun, were selected. Statistics were frequencies, means, percentile, cross-tabulation, t-test and Anova. The results were as follows. First, in family welfare service program on children and adolescents, the improvement in family living, consumption, retirement planning, health management, protection of environment and resource, volunteering and the advance of living culture, the demand for education program were higher than the demand for cunseling program. In particular, demands for both education program and counseling program on children and adolescents were the highest. Second, age, residence and income had very significant effects on the demands for both education program and counseling program. By understanding these differences in the demand for education program and counseling program of family welfare, practitioners and educators may be able to develop family welfare service program to solve family problems.

산업체 및 학습자 수요 간호 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구 : P 대학의 사례 (A Study on Industry and Learner's Demand-Based Curriculum Development on Nursing Education : A Case of P University)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the educational needs of industry which will hire learner and to develop curriculum to meet the demand. Methods. This study was a descriptive research based on survey results. In each questionnaire, the number of responses and ratios were measured to determine the priorities of the questionnaire items and the education demand was evaluated based on these priorities. Results. The core competency keywords for nurses in industry are knowledge, technology, and communication. In the industry needs for curriculum development, the importance of education to be strengthened for nurse training was found to be core basic nursing skills, nursing process application ability, communication ability, creative nursing problem solving ability, personality and foreign language ability. Conclusion. This study has laid the groundwork for the development of competency based curriculum based on environmental factors and reducing the problems of mis - matching between industry and education.

  • 본 논문은 VOD(Video On Demand) 기반 온라인 교육 시스템의 한계점들을 분석하고 이에 대한 대안으로 e- Learning 표준에 기초한 EOD(Education On Demand) 시스템의 디자인과 구현에 대해 기술한다. EOD 시스템은 XML로 표현되는 메타 정보와 컴포넌트 기술을 사용하여 학습 컨텐츠 라이프사이클 전반에 적용되는 저작 도구, 컨텐츠 서버, 학습 정책 시스템 그리고 뷰어로 구성된다. 구성요소간의 모든 정보 교환은 SCORM 표준에 기반한 메타 정보로 표현되어 효과적인 컨텐츠 관리와 자동화를 가능하게 한다. 또한 학습자의 상호작용 및 피드백 정보를 통합 관리하여 학습 정책 시스템을 통해 개별 학습자에게 맞추어진 학습 지도를 제공 할 수 있다. 이러한 EOD 시스템을 통해 단순한 컨텐츠 제공을 넘어선 발전된 형태의 온라인 교육 시스템에 대해 고찰해 본다.

부모교육 프로그램 활성화를 위한 학부모 인식 및 요구 (A Study on Perception and Demand for the Parent Education Program Activation)

  • 본 연구는 부모교육 활성화 방안을 탐색하기 위해 학부모를 대상으로 부모교육 프로그램에 대한 전반적인 인식분석과 요구조사를 시행하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 (1) 부모교육을 지원할 센터 운영, (2) 부모교육 프로그램에 대한 인식, (3) 부모교육 프로그램 개발, (4) 공간 활용, (5) 프로그램 운영 및 평가 요인을 도출하여 설문 내용을 작성하였다. 충주시 소재 A초등학교의 2학년 및 4학년 학부모를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영에 요구되는 사항을 5가지 요인으로 분류하고 23개의 설문문항에 응답하도록 하였다. 분석 결과, 학부모들은 부모교육 프로그램을 전문적으로 지원해줄 수 있는 센터 운영에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모의 역할에 대한 교육내용을 강화하고자 하는 요구가 크게 나타났다. 본 연구는 학부모들을 대상으로 기존의 부모교육에 대한 인식과 요구분석을 토대로 부모교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 나아가 학부모 요구를 반영한 부모교육 프로그램을 실제 개발 및 운영한 후 프로그램을 통해 나타나는 성과 분석 및 환류의 필요성을 향후 연구 방향으로 제시하였다.

e-Business Demand Education 분석에 따른 전문계고 Curriculum 연구 (A Study of Curriculum on Vocational High School under Analysis e-Business Demand Education)

  • 산업별 필요인력의 수급 불균형과, 직업교육기관의 Skill Mismatch로 산업체가 요구하는 전문기술 인력 수급이 어려운 실정이다. 산업체는 학교졸업자를 현장에서 재교육하고, 산업특성에 맞는 기술을 습득하여야만 생산성을 향상 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업체가 요구하는 Demand Education을 수용하고, e-Business 분야에서 특성화 전문계고 Curriculum을 작성하는 연구이다. e-Business 산업분류 및 직종분류를 파악하고, e-Business 교육에 대해 산업체에서 요구하는 지식과 Skill 수준을 파악하고 그 수요를 조사하고 분석한다. 기반산업, 지원산업, 활용산업별로 조사된 e-Business Curriculum을 학습에 적용하고, 산업체의 Demand Education 계고 e-Business Curriculum의 기본 모델과 학과별 Curriculum을 제시하고, 산업체 요구의 e-Business 교육을 통한 생산성 향상을 통한 국가 발전에 기여하고자 한다.

가정교과목에 대한 고등학생들의 의견연구 - 재학 중인 학교별 차이비교 - (Comparisons of High School Students' Perspective on Home Economics)

  • The purpose of this study is to find some directions to enhance high school students' recognitions for the necessity of Home Economics(HE) education. 309 respondents were sampled from boys', girls' and co-ed high schools in Chongju. The questionnaire consisted of some items about the respondents' interest, necessity, and the required level for HE. The results are as follows : 1) Students from girls' high school and co-ed high school showed more interest in HE than did the students from boys' high school. 2) The recognition of the necessity for learning HE in high school was significantly differed according to the school systems. 3) The demand level on HE was 52.8 out of 100 point, which is fairly low. Girls from co-ed high school showed higher demand on HE than did the girls' high school. 4) The highest demand level of students in the detailed domains of HE was on consumption. And the students showed a comparatively high demand on health, job, and consumption, while showing low demand on clothing. 5) Students from boys' high school and co-ed high school favored practice-oriented HE education.

패션한복시대의 한복 전문교육 현황 연구 (A Study on the Current Status of Hanbok Education in the Era of Fashion Hanbok)

  • This study aims to derive suggestions to help develop Hanbok education in the future by examining its current status in domestic educational institutions in light of rising social demand for Hanbok in the era of fashion Hanbok. We assessed the Hanbok curriculum in educational institutions nationwide, including universities and specialized institutes, and conducted in-depth interviews to understand the operational status of Hanbok-specialized education. We found that the demand for education on production functions is decreasing, while the demand for in-depth education on the history of Korean costume and education integrating Hanbok with design and marketing is increasing. We also found that, in the case of universities, which play an important role in Hanbok research and education, professional research and training are shrinking in graduate schools, whereas Hanbok subjects are being maintained and new subjects are being taught in undergraduate courses. In the fashion Hanbok era, it has been suggested that Hanbok education needs to converge with design and marketing education, beyond teaching only Hanbok. In addition, the necessity of expanding liberal arts education within universities to meet social demand was proposed, and online education was expected to help spread knowledge.
