  • Concrete using eco-cement has a problem with long-term strength development. However, currently, a long-term strength development mechanism is not confirmed, resulting in a lack of application of eco-cement in construction fields. In this study, the curing humidity influence on development in long-term strength of concrete using eco-cement and the relationship between strength and pore structure were examined. The results showed that wet cured eco-cement with a high water/cement ratio showed serious long-term strength reduction due to non-reduction of pore volume (pore size over 10 nm) in mortar caste with eco-cement. Also, the study results on improvement of long-term strength of eco-cement by partial replacement with ordinary portland cement and finely-ground fly ash showed that both of these alternatives improved long-term strength of concrete caste with eco-cement due to gradual refinement of their micro-structure.

  • Eco-friendly concrete contains only 5% of cement yet achieves equal or greater strength compared to conventional concrete, reducing salt-attack impact and hydration heat by more than 30% and ensuring higher construction quality for underground structures. Furthermore, eco-friendly concrete can reduce up to 90% of carbon dioxide emissions compared to traditional concrete, enabling a reduction of approximately 6,000 tons of carbon emissions for 1,000 of apartment units construction. This is equivalent to planting around 42,000 trees

  • Depending on the industrialization, construction market has grown buildings are based on concrete will continue to increase. But the problems of environmental pollution come to the fore with the indiscriminate use of concrete and rapid development. In addition, carbon dioxide(CO2) in the process of producing cement being emitted a large amount of has been caused a serious problem of environmental pollution. This trend is being actively conducted research to reduce the use of cement. In this study, eco-friendly materials, such as flats, Blast-furnace slag by mix and cement review the mechanical characteristics of the mudflats eco-friendly cement mortar to reduce the usability of the review were seen as a green building material.

  • In the S.C.W (soil cement wall) grouting solution, Cement grout ratio of 1 part Portland cement and 1part water is being used. However, Co2 and harmful heavy metals such as cr6+ are discharged in the process, causing a serious environmental issue. The purpose of the present study is therefore to substitute cement grout to inorganic binder and identify durability properties of ground solidification materials.

  • Recently. as the alternatives to preserve environment such as effective usage of wastes or unusable resources are drawing attentions, researches and measures for the two tasks, which are reuse of waste wood and development of eco-friendly materials, are being examined and established in various fields. However, they are still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, for the efficient application of waste woods and eco-friendly effects, mortar was produced using sawdust af the waste wood and mineral material cement for combination, in order to produce inorganic boards using waste woods, which were made when sawing. The present study purposed to analyze the physical and dynamic characteristics of woody cement boards, which were made by modifying water-cement ratio for each wood inclusion rate based on a hardening-accelerator inclusion rate set in previous studies and, based on the findings. to provide basic data about the physical properties of inorganic boards made of waste wood, in order to Produce woody cement boards using waste wood, which has problems in being used in the manufacturing of woody cement boards.

  • In this study, the characteristics of polymer-modified mortar which include UM resin, eco-friendly resin, was studied for improving the durability of concrete. UM and cement mortar were mixed with a certain percentage. Eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar was evaluated by compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, water absorption and chemical resistance experiments. The characteristics of eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar were evaluated by experiments. Performance of compressive strength and splitting tensile strength were decreasing. On the other hand, performance of flexural strength, water absorption and chemical resistance were increasing. Eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar reinforced concrete durability performance is excellent.

  • This study is performed to evaluate the properties of ECO-permeable polymer concrete with blast furnace slag powder and stone dust. The unit weight is in the range of $1,821kg/m^3{\sim}1,955kg/m^3$, the unit weights of those concrete are decreased $15%{\sim}20.8%$ than that of the normal cement concrete. The highest strength is achieved by ECO-permeable polymer concrete filled blast furnace slag powder 50% and stone dust 50%, it is increased 36% by compressive strength, 119% by tensile strength and 217% by bending strength than that of the normal cement concrete, respectively. The coefficient of permeability is in the range of $5.6{\times}10^{-2}cm/s{\sim}8.1{\times}10^{-2}cm/s$, and it is largely dependent upon the mix design.

  • Many countermeasures are presented to make excessive earth circumstance pollution better in the earth. A lot of researches are in progress to lessen $CO_2$ among the industries exhausting it. The industries manufacturing cement are making many countermeasures. Many concernments on ECO-friendly materials, rather than cement, are increased, and researches are in progress to develop them. Lime, material mostly used before Portland cement appeared, attracts the Occident as well as the Orient. In the Occident, lime mortar was used in common, for maintaining and repairing cultural properties, too. This study is aimed at offering basic materials for the modern use of lime, ECO-friendly material. This study measured the change of intensity and weight with lime, sand, and earth, basic materials of Samhoimool. As a result, at the beginning, hydrated lime displayed its density late, but as time was gone, density was promoted continuously. In addition, density was promoted, when it was given heat at the beginning. If heat-generation reaction of quicklime and water was used, density was promoted at the beginning, but liquidity showed a drop.
