The purpose of this study was to investigate how young children recognize the image of robots, and how they understand the relationship between themselves and robots based on school experience. 20 children from kindergarten A had no direct experience with educational robots, whereas 20 children from kindergarten B had experience in using educational robots in their classroom. Total 40 children from age group 5 class participated in this study. We collected data using interview and drawing test. The findings of the study are as follows: First, participating children recognized robots as having both the character of a machine and a human. But children with previous robot experience provided description of robots as a machine-tool. Both groups were not able to explain the structure of robots in details. Second, participating children understood that they can develop a range of social relationships with robots, including simple help to family replacement. There were mixed views on robots among the children with previous experience, but children with no experience described robots as taking the role of peers or family members. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 170 early childhood teachers in kindergartens and child care centers in Daejeon city. The SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) v. 18.0 was used for data analysis through the process of data coding and data cleaning. The frequency analysis was conducted for the general state of those surveyed. The frequency analysis, ANOVA and factor analysis were conducted for the perceptions and needs for forest experience activities. The findings showed that early childhood teachers had positive perceptions for the educational effects of forest experience activities. Especially, they perceived that the educational programs of forest experience activities need to be highly recommended to early children as forest experience education is important for forest experience activities. Consequently, forest experience education is just as important and useful for early children to learn the importance of coexistence with human and nature, and develop a sense of community by interacting with nature.

This study is empirically intended to look into the effects of parents' perception of their children's forest experience activities on educational effectiveness. The results were as follows. First, parents' perception of forest experience operation activities had a significant effect on educational effectiveness according to the period of participation in forest experience education. And their perception of the appropriate number of teachers to support forest experience had a significant effect on educational effectiveness. Second, parents' perception - which it is appropriate for the current daycare centers to participate in forest experience every day except a day with a lot of fine dust and a day with bad weather- had a significant effect on educational effectiveness. And their perception of appropriate forest experience places had a significant effect on educational effectiveness. Third, parents' perception of appropriate time in the day for forest experience activities had a significant effect on educational effectiveness. Fourth, parents' perception of their children's forest experience activities had a significant effect on communication. As for the above-stated findings, there was a significant difference in educational effectiveness and communication according to parents' perception of their children's overall forest experience activities. Consequently, there is the differences in their perception of educational effectiveness in the number of teachers in charge due to outdoor activities, the relationship with weather due to fine dust, forest experience places, education time, etc, indicating that these common concerns are related to the safe educational activities of children.

As a result of the study, first, the experience of participating in the educational community in early childhood mathematics education using storytelling shared personal mathematics experiences and mathematical situations, understood and learned mathematics content knowledge through sharing, and communicated through the educational community. Second, looking at the meaning of the experience of participating in the early childhood mathematics education educational community using storytelling, learn together through mathematical errors and learn the direction of better instruction through sharing. Grown up as a teacher who enjoys the mathematics exploration process, and promoted joint practice through cooperation in early childhood mathematics education using storytelling.
This study conducted a survey on 163 parents in Korea to investigate their interest in plants, experience in growing plants, and perception on horticultural activity programs (HAP) for their children. Most children (80.4%) of the respondents had experience participating in HAPs, and most of their experience occurred during school hours in preschool educational institutions more than once a month (60.3%). The more interest in plants and experience in growing plants the parents had, the more experience the preschoolers had in participating in HAPs, which implies that the experience of the parents with plants affected their children's participation in HAPs. Parents' most preferred location of HAPs was preschool educational institutions, and most preferred time was school hours with a frequency of more than once a week (57.1%), which is more frequent than the current status of HAPs in preschool educational institutions. Parents also responded that the most preferred instructors of HAP has are those with a professional background in horticulture. Among the activities in HAP for preschoolers, parents most preferred cooking (M = 4.05) activity, and they did not dislike any of the activities. They responded that the facilities for HAP needed to be improved to make HAP more active in preschool educational institutions. Overall, based on the current results, developing suitable HAPs and facilities for preschoolers, fostering professional HAP instructors, and educating parents about horticulture would enhance HAPs in preschool educational institutions, thus providing preschoolers with many benefits of HAPs.
The research aimed at analyzing how the differences between teachers' personal backgrounds (age, teaching experience, educational background, position) and experiences with the mentee and the mentor affect their awareness on the mentor qualifications for the mentoring program conducted by infants' educational organizations. By fulfilling the purpose of the research, proper qualifications for a mentor of outstanding abilities, which would be desired by teachers in infant educational organizations, should be established while preliminary data on the mentor teacher training to improve the professionalism of a mentor is expected to be provided. The research was carried out targeting 319 teachers in infants' educational organizations located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. The measuring instrument used was a recognized survey on how the mentor qualifications for the mentoring conducted by infants' educational organizations. The survey consisted of 22 questions. The researcher personally designed the survey based on results generated from preliminary research. SPSS 14.0 was used to analyze selected data as average, standard deviation and one-way layout dispersion. In addition, a post-analysis on the one-way layout dispersion was conducted via the Scheffe posteriori test. The results demonstrated that the mentor qualifications for the mentoring were differently recognized by teachers in infants' educational organizations according to both teacher's personal backgrounds (age, teaching experience, educational background and position) and experiences with the mentee and the mentor.

This study is the spatial characteristics of child education facilities through the cognitive development of child. Early childhood is the most important period in every human developmental stage; physical, emotional, and mental parts. Thus, the education in early childhood should be conducted naturally by a variety of experiences, sensibility, and physical activities, not by knowledge-oriented education which has been conducted until today. The education based on experience has been adapted, not only domestically, but internationally, and the early childhood education focused on child's development is especially emphasized in Europe. It's because the industrialization started earlier in Europe than in other countries, and it leaded to the entry of women in public affair. Consequently, early childhood education was taken charge of by the nation. While it has gone through trial and error, and Now it leaded to the better way. This study checks the common factors which shows the spatial characteristics based on experience and the relationship between the features of infants and concept of space in Piaget's theory. And then, I am going to systemize the relationship of each factor and suggest the design plan so that it could be applied methodologically when the space is designed for child education facilities beyond the current education only focused on programs.
