FINITENESS PROPERTIES OF EXTENSION FUNCTORS OF COFINITE MODULES

  • Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, I an ideal of R and T be a non-zero I-cofinite R-module with dim(T) ${\leq}$ 1. In this paper, for any finitely generated R-module N with support in V(I), we show that the R-modules $Ext^i_R$(T,N) are finitely generated for all integers $i{\geq}0$. This immediately implies that if I has dimension one (i.e., dim R/I = 1), then $Ext^i_R$($H^j_I$(M), N) is finitely generated for all integers $i$, $j{\geq}0$, and all finitely generated R-modules M and N, with Supp(N) ${\subseteq}$ V(I).

  • 본 논문에서는 아파트를 비롯한 집단 거주지에서 대량으로 발생되는 음식물 쓰레기를 가축 사육 농가 등 도심 인근 지역 수요자에게 온라인 거래를 통해 판매할 수 있도록 지원하는 전자상거래 서비스를 제안하고자 한다. 제안 서비스는 일반적인 전자상거래와는 달리 사물인터넷 기반의 센서와 통신 모듈이 탑재된 스마트 음식물 쓰레기통을 이용해 각 아파트의 위치 정보와 배출되는 음식물 쓰레기의 양을 자동으로 수집한 후 이를 특화된 전자상거래 플랫폼 상에서 시각화된 정보로 제공하여 수요자에게 판매하는 것을 핵심으로 한다. 스마트 음식물 쓰레기통은 무게 센서와 GPS 센서 그리고 LoRa 통신 모듈을 이용해 주기적으로 현재 용량을 클라우드 기반의 데이터베이스로 전달하며, 이렇게 수집된 여러 아파트의 위치 정보와 용량 정보는 웹사이트나 모바일 애플리케이션 형태의 전자상거래 서비스 운영에 활용이 된다. 제안하는 전자상거래 서비스는 각 아파트에서 구매자가 있는 인근 지역 농가까지 음식물 쓰레기를 배달하는 서비스와 연계함으로써 지역 경제 활성화와 더불어 음식물 쓰레기 처리 문제를 해결하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.

Trustworthy Mutual Attestation Protocol for Local True Single Sign-On System: Proof of Concept and Performance Evaluation

  • In a traditional Single Sign-On (SSO) scheme, the user and the Service Providers (SPs) have given their trust to the Identity Provider (IdP) or Authentication Service Provider (ASP) for the authentication and correct assertion. However, we still need a better solution for the local/native true SSO to gain user confidence, whereby the trusted entity must play the role of the ASP between distinct SPs. This technical gap has been filled by Trusted Computing (TC), where the remote attestation approach introduced by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) is to attest whether the remote platform integrity is indeed trusted or not. In this paper, we demonstrate a Trustworthy Mutual Attestation (TMutualA) protocol as a proof of concept implementation for a local true SSO using the Integrity Measurement Architecture (IMA) with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). In our proposed protocol, firstly, the user and SP platform integrity are checked (i.e., hardware and software integrity state verification) before allowing access to a protected resource sited at the SP and releasing a user authentication token to the SP. We evaluated the performance of the proposed TMutualA protocol, in particular, the client and server attestation time and the round trip of the mutual attestation time.

ESS 화재전용 소화약제 및 소화시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Fire Extinguishing Agent and Extinguishing System for ESS Fire)

  • 본 논문은 ESS 화재전용 소화약제 및 소화시스템 개발에 관한 연구이다. ESS 화재를 진압하기 위해 제작된 소화약제는 침윤제 타입으로 주된 소화효과인 냉각작용과 더불어 질식작용과 함께 표면장력 및 점도를 낮춘 침투성이 높은 소화약제로 ESS 모듈 내부의 배터리 셀까지 소화약제가 침투 가능한 특징이 있다. 소화시스템의 경우 랙 단위로 화재를 진압하는 국소방출방식으로 설계하였고, 소화효과를 극대화하기 위해 랙에 장착되는 일반형 노즐과 ESS 모듈 후면 홀에 삽입하는 360° 회전형 노즐을 제작하고, 가스방출압력에 의해 소화약제가 강하게 방사되도록 하였다. ESS 모듈 1단위 및 모듈 3단위 화재진압성능 실험결과 소화약제 방사 후 각각 8 s 및 9 s 만에 눈에 보이는 화염이 모두 소멸되었다. 또한, 소화약제 방사종료 후 600 s 동안 재발화 여부를 확인한 결과 모든 화재진압성능 실험에서 재발화가 일어나지 않고 ESS 화재가 완벽히 진압되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

시설멜론용 다기능 재배생력화 시스템;원격 로봇작업 시스템 개발 (Multi-functional Automated Cultivation for House Melon;Development of Tele-robotic System)

  • In this paper, a prototype tele-operative system with a mobile base was developed in order to automate cultivation of house melon. A man-machine interactive hybrid decision-making system via tele-operative task interface was proposed to overcome limitations of computer image recognition. Identifying house melon including position data from the field image was critical to automate cultivation. And it was not simple especially when melon is covered partly by leaves and stems. The developed system was composed of 5 major modules: (a) main remote monitoring and task control module, (b) wireless remote image acquisition and data transmission module, (c) three-wheel mobile base mounted with a 4 dof articulated type robot manipulator (d) exchangeable modular type end tools, and (e) melon storage module. The system was operated through the graphic user interface using touch screen monitor and wireless data communication among operator, computer, and machine. Once task was selected from the task control and monitoring module, the analog signal of the color image of the field was captured and transmitted to the host computer using R.F. module by wireless. A sequence of algorithms to identify location and size of a melon was performed based on the local image processing. Laboratory experiment showed the developed prototype system showed the practical feasibility of automating various cultivating tasks of house melon.

  • This paper introduces a new concept of automation for bio-production with tele-operative system. The proposed system showed practical and feasible way of automation for the volatile bio-production process. Based on the proposition, recognition of the job environment with object identification was performed using computer vision system. A man-machine interactive hybrid decision-making, which utilized a concept of tele-operation was proposed to overcome limitations of the capability of computer in image processing and feature extraction from the complex environment image. Identifying watermelons from the outdoor scene of the cultivation field was selected to realize the proposed concept. Identifying watermelon from the camera image of the outdoor cultivation field is very difficult because of the ambiguity among stems, leaves, shades, and especially fruits covered partly by leaves or stems. The analog signal of the outdoor image was captured and transmitted wireless to the host computer by R.F module. The localized window was formed from the outdoor image by pointing to the touch screen. And then a sequence of algorithms to identify the location and size of the watermelon was performed with the local window image. The effect of the light reflectance of fruits, stems, ground, and leaves were also investigated.

A NOTE ON WITT RINGS OF 2-FOLD FULL RINGS

  • D.K. Harrison [5] has shown that if R and S are fields of characteristic different from 2, then two Witt rings W(R) and W(S) are isomorphic if and only if W(R)/I(R)$^{3}$ and W(S)/I(S)$^{3}$ are isomorphic where I(R) and I(S) denote the fundamental ideals of W(R) and W(S) respectively. In [1], J.K. Arason and A. Pfister proved a corresponding result when the characteristics of R and S are 2, and, in [9], K.I. Mandelberg proved the result when R and S are commutative semi-local rings having 2 a unit. In this paper, we prove the result when R and S are 2-fold full rings. Throughout this paper, unless otherwise specified, we assume that R is a commutative ring having 2 a unit.   • Objectives: This study was conducted in order to better understand the conceptual model and Stoffenmanager nano module and apply it to the synthesis and packing processes of nanomaterials. Methods: Site visits were conducted to five nanomaterial production processes. Product and exposure variables were investigated in these workplaces. Hazard banding and exposure classification of the synthesis and packing processes of nanomaterials were conducted using documents and the website of Stoffenmanager Nano. Results: The five sites featured different products, packing tasks, ventilation and local exhaust, and others. The hazards for nano-nickel and copper were classified as E. The hazards for both fumed silica and indium tin oxide were classified as D. The hazard for spherical silica was classified as C. The exposure classes in the synthesis process of nanomaterials ranged from 2 through 4. The exposure classes in the packing process of nanomaterials ranged from 1 through 4. Conclusions: Application of Stoffenmanager nano to the synthesis and packing processes of nanomaterials helped to better understand the control level of the work environment and to suggest appropriate actions. The comparison of each process showed the effect of the production process and handling of solids and ventilation on exposure class.

산소 가습이 PEMFC 성능에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the inlet oxygen humidity on PEMFC performance)

  • The comparisons between measured performance of lab-scale PEMFC and calculation were conducted to understand the detail phenomena of PEMFC for the various inlet oxygen humidity of cathode side. Experiments were performed at $65^{\circ}C$ operation temperature and different inlet humidity conditions such as 40%, 60% and 80%. We used the MEA manufactured by oneself which include $Nafion^{(R)}$ 112 membrane, Nafion solution 20%, and carbon paper(E-TEK). As a result of this experiment, cell performance was getting higher by increasing inlet humidity condition at cathode side because ion conductivity of electrolyte membrane is increased. A 3D CFD simulation model of PEMFC was developed using commercially available CFD code that is one of the STAR-CD module, es-pemfc under same operating conditions. Model calculations results were compared with experimental ones on the polarization curves and calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. Local water distribution and current density inside PEMFC are discussed in detail.
