The use of diagnostic radiation in medical institutions is rapidly increasing. Accordingly, the collective effective dose is on the rise every year. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the radiation exposure of the person undergoing the radiation examination as low as reasonably achievable. And we must establish a legal system to perform the safe management of radiation for diagnosis efficiently. In this way, I went over the problems of the Act and Subordinate Statutes regarding radiation safety management for diagnosis. As a result, the main contents are as follows. First, in the 「Medical Service Act」, there is no basis for the Safety Inspection Institute of Radiation and Radiation Exposure Measuring Institutes. And there are no provisions concerning delegation of administrative disposition. Therefore, it is necessary to secure legal justification by providing the basis for the Safety Inspection Institute of Radiation along with Radiation Exposure Measuring Institutes and the basis for administrative dispositions against these institutions in the 「Medical Service Act」. Second, the 「Rules on the Installation and Operation of Special Medical Equipment 」 should be integrated with the 「Rules on the Safety Management of Radiation Generators for Diagnostics」 to unify administrative procedures such as reporting for radiation special medical equipment for diagnosis. Third, in the case of violating the diagnostic radiation safety management standards in the 「Rules on the Safety Management of Radiation Generators for Diagnostics」, it is necessary to supplement the insufficient sanctions such as administrative disposition. Fourth, regulating diagnostic radiation and therapeutic radiation used in medical institutions with the dual legal system of the 「Medical Act」 and the 「Nuclear Safety Act」 is not efficient in the safety management of diagnostic radiation. Therefore, it is necessary to uniformly regulate diagnostic radiation and all medical radiation, including therapeutic radiation and nuclear medicine, in the 「Medical Service Act」 system.

In this paper, it is described about the tri-band mobile antenna system design to provide broadband multimedia and direct broadcasting services using goo-stationary Koreasat 3, simultaneously operated in Ka/K/Ku band. The radiating part of the antenna system with a fan beam characteristic in the elevation plane is composed of the quasi-offset dual shaped reflector and the tri-band feeder. The tri-band feeder is also composed of the Ka/K dual band feeder with the protruding dielectric rod, the circular polarizer, the ortho-mode transducer and the circular-polarized Ku band feed array. Especially, the Ka/K dual band circular polarizer was realized firstly using the comb-type structure. For fast satellite-tracking on the movement, the Ku band feed array has the structure of the $2{\times}2$ active phased array which can make electrical beams. And, the circular-polarized characteristic in the feed array was improved by $90^{\circ}$ rotating arrangement of four radiating elements polarized circularly by a $90^{\circ}$ hybrid coupler, respectively. Four beam forming channels to make electrical beams at Ku band are divided into the main beam channel and the tracking beam channel in the output, and noise temperature characteristics of each channel were analyzed on the basis of the contributions of internal sub_units. From the fabricated antenna system, the output power at $P_{1dBc}$ of Ka_Tx channel was measured more than 34.1 dBm and the measured noise figures of K/Ku_Rx channels were less than 2.4 dB and 1.5 dB, respectively, over the operating band. The radiation patterns with co- and cross-polarization in the tri-band were measured using a near-field measurement in the anechoic chamber. Especially, Ku radiation patterns were measured after correcting each initial phase of active channels with partial radiation patterns obtained from the independent excitation of each channel. The antenna gains measured in Ka/K/Ku band of the antenna system were more than 39.6 dBi, 37.5 dBi, 29.6 dBi, respectively. And, the antenna system showed good system performances such as Ka_Tx EIRP more than 43.7 dBW and K/Ku_Rx G/T more than 13.2 dB/K and 7.12 dB/K, respectively.
This study was carried out to select superior dual purpose hens which could spread to poultry farming for subsidiary work and general farmhouse. Three hundred and fifty chicks of 7 kinds of 2-way crossbred from mating of Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire and Australorps were tested for dual purpose performance. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The average viability of brooding, rearing and laying Period hen were 92.3% 98.3% and 93.1% respectively. There was significant difference at 1% level among crossbreds for brooding viability, but other viabilitys were no significant difference. 2. The average body weight of 8 weeks was 854.41g, but there was no significant difference among crossbreds, respectively. Average body weight at 300 days, 500 days were 2507.15g, 2632.25g respectively, but there was significant difference at 1% level among crossbreds. 3. Sexual maturity of individual and 50% egg production were 173.7 days and 199.4 days, respectively. There was significant difference at 5% level among crossbreds. 4. The average hen day egg production was 65.3% and the highest was R.N crossbred (70.5%). There was significant difference at 5% level among crossbreds and average hen housed egg Production was 20.2 eggs and the highest was 220.4 eggs in R.A. crossbred. 5. The average egg weight was 57.36g and the highest was A.N crossbred (58.3g). Therc was no significant difference among crossbreds. 6. The average feed consumption per hen per day by stag. was 42.9g (brooding period), 83.7g (rearing period), 131.1g (laying period). Average feed requirement per 1kg. egg production was 3.79 and th. R.A. crossbred was superiority (3.42). 7. On the basis of the results of this study, the R.A and R.N crossbreds were best for superior dual commercial chicks under farming management conditions.
Scatter correction for single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) plays an important role to improve image quality and quantitation. The purpose of this study was to investigate three scatter correction methods using Monte Carlo simulation. Point source and Jaszack phantom filled with Tc-99m were simulated by Monte Carlo code, SIMIND. For scatter correction, we applied three methods, Compton window (CW) method, triple window (TW) method, and dual photopeak window (DPW) method. Point sources located at various depths along the center line within a 20-cm phantom were simulated to calculate the window ratios and corresponding scatter fractions by evaluating the polynomial coefficients for DPW method. Energy windows were located in W$_1$=92-125 keV, W$_2$=124-126 keV, W$_3$=136-140 keV, W$_4$=140-141 keV, and W$_{5}$=154-156 keV. The results showed that in Jaszack phantom with cold sphere and hot sphere, the TW gave the closest contrast and percentage recovery to the ideal image, respectively, while CW overestimated and DPW underestimated the contrast of ideal one. All three scatter correction methods showed an improved image contrast. In conclusion, scatter correction is essential for improving image contrast and accurate quantification. The choice of scatter correction method should be made on the basis of accuracies and ease of implementation.
The study examined the Korean medicine industry from the perspective of the innovation system theory of each business, while it concentrated on the conflict between traditional Korean medicine and Western medicine, which have a major influence on the innovation system of Korean medicine industry, rather than the innovation system itself. The Korean healthcare system is a dual system of Western and Korean medicine, yet the definitions of Western medical practices and Korean medical practices are ambiguous. Thus the distinction of dual system depends on judicial precedents, and the innovation of Korean medicine has been inhibited due to the excessive emphasis placed on the Western medical practice in both healthcare system and pharmaceutical system. First of all, the usage of most medical devices derived from the development of modern medical engineering is not permitted in the Korean medicine industry, on the basis that most of the medical devices were originated from the Western medicine field. Secondly, new drugs using natural substances, once approved by the drug administration, cannot be prescribed by the Korean medicine industry although they are developed based on Korean medicine. Thirdly, the major safety issues on herbal medicine are about hazardous materials in medicinal herbs and liver toxicity of prescribed herbal medicine. The problem of hazardous materials can be solved by appropriate quality and safety tests in the cultivation and importation process. Whereas the Korean medicine circles points out that the liver toxicity issue is only a unilateral condemnation by the Western medicine circles.

In this paper, in order to enable zero-layer FTP cell using only 5V MOS devices on the basis of $0.13{\mu}m$ BCD process, the tunnel oxide thickness is used as the gate oxide thickness of $125{\AA}$ of the 5V MOS device at 82A. The HDNW layer, which is the default in the BCD process, is used. Thus, the proposed zero layer FTP cell does not require the addition of tunnel oxide and DNW mask. Also, from the viewpoint of memory IP design, a single memory structure which is used only for trimming analog circuit of PMIC chip is used instead of the dual memory structure dividing into designer memory area and user memory area. The start-up circuit of the BGR (Bandgap Reference Voltage) generator circuit is designed to operate in the voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. On the other hand, when the 64-bit FTP memory IP is powered on, the internal read signal is designed to maintain the initial read data at 00H. The layout size of the 64-bit FTP IP designed using the $0.13-{\mu}m$ Magnachip process .is $485.21{\mu}m{\times}440.665{\mu}m$($=0.214mm^2$).
This study was conducted to identify the causal pathways of variables affecting life satisfaction in adolescents with disabilities to establish a basis for concrete intervention in their daily lives. This study was conducted on 239 adolescents with disabilities aged 9 to 24 years who responded to the survey on the actual conditions of people with disability in 2017. The SPSS macro process was used for analysis of the dual mediation effect. The results showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between instrumental daily life performance capacity, life satisfaction, Self-Rated Health, and participation in culture and leisure activities. It confirmed the mediating effects of Self-Rated Health and cultural leisure activities when the instrumental daily life performance capacity affected life satisfaction. This confirmed the dual mediating effect of instrumental daily life performance capacity on life satisfaction through causal pathways of Self-Rated Health and participation in cultural leisure activities. Based on the results of this study, it was possible to identify the focus of practical intervention through the identification of sequential pathways of Self-Rated Health and cultural and leisure activities on influence of instrumental daily life performance capacity and life satisfaction in adolescents with disabilities.

The purpose of this study was to explore the dysfunctional effects of job crafting by examining (1) the sequential dual mediating effect of work-related sense of coherence (Work-SoC) and job strain on the relationship between two dimensions of job crafting (i.e., promotion focus & prevention focus) and turnover intentions, and (2) the moderating effect of supervisor support in the relationship between each focus and Work-SoC. A total of 293 employees working at various companies in Korea participated in an online survey. The results showed that promotion-focus job crafting had a direct negative effect on turnover intention, while prevention-focus job crafting had a direct positive effect. Both promotion- and prevention-focus job crafting also had indirect effects on turnover intention by partially mediating Work-SoC and job strain. Supervisor support had a moderating effect on the relationship between prevention-focus job crafting and Work-SoC, weakening the negative effect of prevention focus on Work-SoC. The implications and future directions are discussed on the basis of the results.
This study aimed to investigate the effects and potential mechanisms of Chikusetsusaponin V (CsV) on endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and vascular endothelial cell functions. Different concentrations of CsV were added to animal models, bovine aorta endothelial cells (BAECs) and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) cultured in vitro. qPCR, Western blotting (WB), and B ultrasound were performed to explore the effects of CsV on mouse endothelial cell functions, vascular stiffness and cellular eNOS mRNA, protein expression and NO release. Bioinformatics analysis, network pharmacology, molecular docking and protein mass spectrometry analysis were conducted to jointly predict the upstream transcription factors of eNOS. Furthermore, pulldown and ChIP and dual luciferase assays were employed for subsequent verification. At the presence or absence of CsV stimulation, either overexpression or knockdown of purine rich element binding protein A (PURA) was conducted, and PCR assay was employed to detect PURA and eNOS mRNA expressions, Western blot was used to detect PURA and eNOS protein expressions, cell NO release and serum NO levels. Tube formation experiment was conducted to detect the tube forming capability of HUVECs cells. The animal vasodilation function test detected the vasodilation functions. Ultrasonic detection was performed to determine the mouse aortic arch pulse wave velocity to identify aortic stiffness. CsV stimulus on bovine aortic cells revealed that CsV could upregulate eNOS protein levels in vascular endothelial cells in a concentration and time dependent manner. The expression levels of eNOS mRNA and phosphorylation sites Ser1177, Ser633 and Thr495 increased significantly after CsV stimulation. Meanwhile, CsV could also enhance the tube forming capability of HUVECs cells. Following the mice were gavaged using CsV, the eNOS protein level of mouse aortic endothelial cells was upregulated in a concentration- and time-dependent manner, and serum NO release and vasodilation ability were simultaneously elevated whereas arterial stiffness was alleviated. The pulldown, ChIP and dual luciferase assays demonstrated that PURA could bind to the eNOS promoter and facilitate the transcription of eNOS. Under the conditions of presence or absence of CsV stimulation, overexpression or knockdown of PURA indicated that the effect of CsV on vascular endothelial function and eNOS was weakened following PURA gene silence, whereas overexpression of PURA gene could enhance the effect of CsV upregulating eNOS expression. CsV could promote NO release from endothelial cells by upregulating the expression of PURA/eNOS pathway, improve endothelial cell functions, enhance vasodilation capability, and alleviate vessel stiffness. The present study plays a role in offering a theoretical basis for the development and application of CsV in vascular function improvement, and it also provides a more comprehensive understanding of the pharmacodynamics of CsV.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of cigarette filter on in vitro cytotoxicity of cigarette mainstream smoke from the cigarette. In this work, we used 3 types of cigarettes included non-filtered 2R4F cigarette, cellulose acetate-filtered 2R4F cigarette, and carbon dual-filtered 2R4F cigarette which was made from original 2R4F by replacing with an acetate filter containing carbon. The cytotoxicity of both the cigarette smoke condensate (CSC), which was collected in Cambridge filter pad, and the gas/vapor phase (GVP), which was bubbled through in phosphate-buffered saline in a gas-washing bottle, was determined using a neutral red uptake assay with CHO-K1 cells. With regard to cytotoxicity when calculated on an equal puff basis, the cytotoxicity of CSC from the filtered cigarettes was lower than that of the non filtered cigarette. Also, $EC_{50}$ vlaue of GVP from carbon filter cigarette was 40.9 puff/L, indicating the cytotoxicity to be $20\%$ lower than that of the CA filter cigarette. The cytotoxicity of the GVP was correlated to the several vapor phase components (formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, acrolein, crotonaldehyde and MEK). In conclusion, carbon filter, which significantly reduced the amount of carbonyl compounds in mainstream cigarette smoke, results in significant reductions in the cytotoxicity potential of the smoke.
