수정된 웨이블릿 변환 개념을 이용한 계측 가속도 기록의 이중 적분법 (Double Integration of Measured Acceleration Record using the Concept of Modified Wavelet Transform)

  • 일반적으로 토목구조물에서 계측된 가속도 신호의 대부분은 적분이 매우 힘들다. 그 이유는 토목구조에서 계측된 가속도 신호는 일반적으로 비정상신호이며 또한 비가우시안 노이즈와 저주파 노이즈를 포함하고 있어, 저주파 성분이 증폭되는 적분과정에서 수치적 불안정성이 발생할 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 비정상 신호처리에 탁월한 웨이블릿 변환의 개념을 비가우시안 노이즈와 저주파 노이즈에 대해 확장한 수정된 웨이블릿 변환을 이용한 가속도 기록의 이중 적분방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 예제해석을 통해 제시된 방법이 비정상 신호의 노이즈 및 비가우시안 노이즈와 저주파 노이즈를 제거에 우수한 성능을 보이고 있음을 보였다.

  • In this paper, the modification of double projection method for the adaptive analysis of Element-free Galerkin(EFG) method were proposed. As results of the double projection method, the smoothed error profile that is adequate for adaptive analysis was obtained by re-projection of error that means the differences of EFG stress and projected stress. However, it was found that the efficiency of double projection method is degraded as increase of the numerical integration order. Since, the iterative refinement to single step error estimation made the same effect as increasing of integration order, the application of the iterative refinement base on double projection method could be produced the inadequately refined analysis model. To overcome this defect, a modified scheme of double projection were proposed. In the numerical example, the results did not show degradation of double projection effect in iterative refinement and the efficiency of proposed scheme were proved.

  • Delta-integration vectors were constructed for the purpose of achieving homologous integration of the hirudin expression cassette into the chromosome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. A double $\delta$ system truncated with the unnecessary bacterial genes, and consequently having a reduced insert size for integration, showed a four-fold increase in transformation efficiency at given DNA concentrations, and as a result, the constructed recombinant yeast strain had a 1.3-fold enhancement in hirudin expression level compared with a single $\delta$ system.

  • A double spiral thin-film inductor with a NiFe magnetic core is integrated with DC-DC converter IC. The NiFe core is deposited on a polyimide film as the thinckness of NiFe is 2.5~3.5 ${\mu}$m. Then, copper conductor line is deposited on the NiFe core with double spiral structure. Process integration is performed by sequential processes of etching the polyimide film deposited both top and bottom of the NiFe core and electroplation copper conductor line from exposed metal pad of the DC-DC converter IC. Process integration is simplified by elimination planarization process for top core because the proposed thin-film inductor has a bottom NiFe core only. Inductor of the fabricated monolithic DC-DC converter IC is 0.53 ${\mu}$H when the area of converter IC and thin-film inductor are 5X5$\textrm{mm}^2$ and 3.5X2.5$\textrm{mm}^2$, respectively. The efficiency is 72% when input voltage and output voltage are 3.5 V and 6 V, respectively at the operation frequency of 8 MHz.

  • It is well known that double integration of measured acceleration records are very difficult, particularly in the case of measurements on civil engineering structures. The measured accelerations on civil structures usually contain non-gaussian and low-frequency noises as well as acceleration records are non-stationary. For this type of signals, wavelet transform can be useful because of its inherent processing abilities for non-stationary signals. In this paper, the do-noising algorithm using the wavelet transform are slightly extended to process non-gaussian and low frequency noises, using median filter concepts. The example studies show that the integration can be improved using proposed method.

  • MEMS 가속도계는 운동측정을 위하여 가속도신호를 해석하는 저비용의 방안이다. 이론적으로 변위는 가속도신호를 두 번 적분함으로서 계산될 수 있으나 실제적으로는 실제 존재하는 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 이 방법으로는 계산 될 수가 없다. 본 실험은 실제적인 가속도신호를 획득하여 저주파 운동해석을 위하여 처리하는 과정에 대하여 보여준다.

  • Reduced surface field lateral double-diffused MOS transistor for the driving circuits of plasma display panel and field emission display in the 120V region have been integrated for the first time into a low-voltage $1.2{\mu}m$ analog CMOS process using p-type bulk silicon. This method of integration provides an excellent way of achieving both high power and low voltage functions on the same chip; it reduces the number of mask layers double-diffused MOS transistor with a drift length of $6.0{\mu}m$ and a breakdown voltage greater than 150V was self-isolated to the low voltage CMOS ICs. The measured specific on-resistance of the lateral double-diffused MOS in $4.8m{\Omega}{\cdot}cm^2$ at a gate voltage of 5V.

  • In a main propulsion system of naval ship, DRME(Double Resilient Mounted Engine) is mostly adopted to ensure vibration isolation and shock resistance against underwater explosion weapon attack. In this paper, an analysis program for vibration and shock evaluation of DRME is presented. DRME is modelled as multi-rigid bodies with nonlinear mounts, and direct time integration method is introduced for shock analysis. The computed results are compared with those of foreign ones. Navy's proposed specifications are well satisfied with this program. This analysis program serves for the development of domestic DRME technology of naval ship.

Field gradient calculation of HTS double-pancake coils considering the slanted turns and the splice

  • To obtain Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) measurement of membrane protein, an NMR magnet is required to generate high intensity, homogeneity, and stability of field. A High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnet is a promising alternative to a conventional Low-Temperature Superconducting (LTS) NMR magnet for high field, current density, and stability margin. Conventionally, an HTS coil has been wound by several winding techniques such as Single-Pancake (SP), Double-Pancake (DP), and layer-wound. The DP winding technique has been frequently used for a large magnet because long HTS wire is generally difficult to manufacture, and maintenance of magnet is convenient. However, magnetic field generated by the slanted turns and the splice leads to field inhomogeneity in Diameter of Spherical Volume (DSV). The field inhomogeneity degrades performance of NMR spectrometer and thus effect of the slanted turns and the splice should be analyzed. In this paper, field gradient of HTS double-pancake coils considering the slanted turns and the splice was calculated using Biot-Savart law and numerical integration. The calculation results showed that magnetic field produced by the slanted turns and the splice caused significant inhomogeneity of field.
