This study investigates the effect of conflict resolution methods on the IS outsourcing performance. A survey of 207 IS oursourcing relationship of U.S. firms indicates that(1) constructive/proactive methods, such as joint problem solving, is positively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships, and that (2) destructive/passive methods, such as persuasion, smoothing/avoiding, domination, and use of harsh words are negatively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships. The findings suggest that the manner in which conflict is resolved can be productive or destructive for the IS outsourcing performance.

공학적 신뢰도 문제에서 부품의 신뢰도나 가동도가 주어진 후 시스템의 신뢰도 평가를 위한 수치적 계산이 자주 요구된다. 이때 주어진 system은 graph나 fault tree등으로 신뢰도 특성을 표현하게 된다. 보통 network이나 교통망 등은 graph로 표현되며 부품과 graph의 선이 1 : 1로 대응되는 linear graph 이다. 이러한 그래프에 대한 신뢰도를 분석하는 방법 중에 여러 가지가 있으나 본 연구에서는 domination이론을 이용하여 신뢰도를 계산한다. (중략)

This paper gives a sparse domination for the iterated commutators of multilinear pseudo-differential operators with the symbol σ belonging to the Hörmander class, and establishes the quantitative bounds of the Bloom type estimates for such commutators. Moreover, the C_p estimates for the corresponding multilinear pseudo-differential operators are also obtained.

Many optimization problems like domination and Steiner tree are NP-complete on chordal graphs but can be solved in polyno-mial time on doubly chordal graphs. Investigating properties of dou-bly chordal graphs probably help to design efficient algorithms for the graphs. We present some characterizations of dobly chordal graphs which are based on clique matrices and neighborhood matrics also men-tioned how a doubly perfect elimination ordering of a doubly chordal graph can be computed from the results.

Let ${X_{nk}}, u_n\; \leq \;k \leq \;u_n,\; n\; \geq\; 1}$ be an array of rowwise independent, but not necessarily identically distributed, random variables with $EX_{nk}$=0 for all k and n. In this paper, we povide a domination condition under which ${\sum^{u_n}}_=u_n\; S_{nk}/n^{1/p},\; 1\; \leq\; p\;<2$ converges completely to zero.

The paper shows that certain hierachical Bayes (HB) predictors for small domain data in repeated surveys "universally" or "stochastically" dominate all linear unbiased predictors. Also, the HB predictors are "best" within the class of all equivariant predictors under a certain group of transformations.tain group of transformations.

In the problem of the recovery of interblock information in balanced incomplete block designs(BIBD), it is well known that a truncated estimator dominates the untruncated estimator under mean squared error loss. This paper shows that the domination result holds universally for every nondecreasing loss function.

We are presented of several basic properties for negatively superadditive dependent(NSD) random variables. By using this concept we are obtained complete convergence for maximum partial sums of rowwise NSD random variables. These results obtained in this paper generalize a corresponding ones for independent random variables and negatively associated random variables.

We have fabricated good quality superconducting $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$ thin films on Hastelloy(Ni-Cr-Mo alloys) with $CeO_2$ buffer layers by in-situ pulsed laser deposition in a multi-target processing chamber. Using one of electrical properties of YBCO superconducting which the resistance approaches to zero dramatically on transition temperature, we have researched to make power transmission line, we have deposited YBCO thin film on flexible metallic substrate. However, it is difficult to make films on flexible metallic substrates due to both interdiffusion problem between metallic substrate and superconducting layer and non-crystallization of YBCO on amorphous substrate. From early research, two ways-using textured metallic substrate and buffer layer-were proposed to overcome theses difficulties. We have chosen $CeO_2$ as a buffer layer which has cubic structure of $5.41{\AA}$ lattice parameter and only 0.2% of lattice mismatch with $3.82{\AA}$ of a-axis lattice parameter of YBCO on (110) direction of $CeO_2$. In order to enhance the crystallization of YBCO films on metallic substrates we deposited $CeO_2$ buffer layers at varying temperature $700^{\circ}C$ to $800^{\circ}C$ and $O_2$ pressure. By X-ray diffraction, we found that each domination of (200) and (111) orientations were strongly relied upon the deposition temperature in $CeO_2$ layer and the change of the domination of orientation affects the crystallization of YBCO upper layer.

Let G = (V, E) be a graph and k be a positive integer. A $k$-dominating set of G is a subset $S{\subseteq}V$ such that each vertex in $V{\backslash}S$ has at least $k$ neighbors in S. A Roman $k$-dominating function on G is a function $f$ : V ${\rightarrow}$ {0, 1, 2} such that every vertex ${\upsilon}$ with $f({\upsilon})$ = 0 is adjacent to at least $k$ vertices ${\upsilon}_1$, ${\upsilon}_2$, ${\ldots}$, ${\upsilon}_k$ with $f({\upsilon}_i)$ = 2 for $i$ = 1, 2, ${\ldots}$, $k$. In the paper titled "Roman $k$-domination in graphs" (J. Korean Math. Soc. 46 (2009), no. 6, 1309-1318) K. Kammerling and L. Volkmann showed that for any graph G with $n$ vertices, ${{\gamma}_{kR}}(G)+{{\gamma}_{kR}(\bar{G})}{\geq}$ min $\{2n,4k+1\}$, and the equality holds if and only if $n{\leq}2k$ or $k{\geq}2$ and $n=2k+1$ or $k=1$ and G or $\bar{G}$ has a vertex of degree $n$ - 1 and its complement has a vertex of degree $n$ - 2. In this paper we find a counterexample of Kammerling and Volkmann's result and then give a correction to the result.
