This study examined the state of the UWB frequency band of foreign policy for application to domestic findings. The results confirmed that the UWB frequency can be prescribed mainly for use in a communication service area, unlike foreign countries, such as the United States and Europe for the current technology standard. On the other hand, the expansion of the UWB service area to various fields may appear as interference in the domestic industry protection and enable these rules. Therefore, the UWB frequency should be used in other areas except for broadcast and communication, if the output meets the specified criteria, as in the case of a foreign country. This is thought to be helpful for protecting the domestic industry and activated services.

ID federation provides users various benefits such as employing multiple services with only single authentication and mitigating management burden of service providers that individually preserve account information of users. To keep up with this international trend, efforts for making the domestic ID federation is ongoing to provide users in the domestic research and education community seamless network connectivity and to support tetherless extension of research environment. In this paper, we analyze the foreign ID federation policies and compare them as a underlying work for making the domestic ID federation. Besides, we suggest some contents that should be included in the domestic ID federation policy. To activate the coming domestic ID federation, we need to first have a well-made federation policy. Then, we need to aggressively promote the domestic ID federation, develop various and fascinating services, and build a convenient support system for technology and service.

The future demand of the satellite broadcasting service is analyzed through the competitive diffusion model. Diffusion rates of the satellite broadcasting service in the case that the decreasing effect due to the cable TV service is considered are smaller than those in the independent case. Diffusion rates of the satellite broadcasting service are shown to become different according to environmental conditions.

Many recent changes in medical area such as expansion of medical insurance, high expectation of people for medical service and the competition with foreign country open new area of medical service and hospital managements. Domestic medical personal have been doing their best for better medical service and more efficient hospital management. In other words, they are focusing on the renovation of organization culture, the reform of organization and operation process and building information systems. It has been more than 10 years since the first computer system was introduced in the domestic medical area. We have been trying to build more advance and more friendly computer systems. Recent advances of information technology could make this possible. In this paper, I introduce the system design of Integrated Hospital Information System include core technology, components of the system and important factors to be considered.

The purpose of this study was to review foreign retrospective Drug Utilization Review(DUR), and so to suggest a development plan suitable for use with domestic situation. Literature review of foreign retrospective DUR program and domestic project such as DUR and prescribing analysis project were reviewed. To improve prescribing quality, developed countries such as US, Canada, UK, France, and Australia have implemented various forms of policy. Based on the review of foreign retrospective DUR program, we suggested to apply practical implementation of retrospective DUR program.

Recently, public and national institutions establish secure system with installed and operational by IT products for security. They required the Common Criteria for assurance of IT products. However, many company hard to decide when IT products release and develop investment because of cost and spend-time problem. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze domestic and international IT products evaluation services, and proposes simplification IT products evaluation service compared with previous services.

The epidemiological investigation of outbreak in korea confirmed that the inflow of avian influenza (AI) is related to the migration of migratory birds. In this study, avian repellents instrument were implemented and developed using the visual effects of lasers in accordance with the situation of small domestic fowl farms, and monitoring cameras were installed around each instrument to investigate the frequency of wild birds appearing and evaluate the performance of the instrument. Observation showed that the appreance ratio was reduced by 95%, and no significant reduction in the intrusion prevention effect by adaptation was observed on all fowl farms. In conclusion, it is expected that the outbreak of wild bird-borne infectious diseases such as avian influenza will be decreased if the device is installed on domestic fowl farms.

Domestic paid broadcasting market is largely classified into cable TV, satellite broadcasting and IPTV. Latest starter IPTV began its commercial service in 2009 and reached 10 million subscribers in August 2014 after 6 years of service. It has been growing rapidly by increasing more than 500 thousand subscribers every quarter and has taken its place firmly as one of core domestic paid broadcasting platforms, second only to cable TV. Even with this quantitative growth, 3 major IPTV companies are still running deficit, attracting attention to issue of the vitalization of IPTV business based on qualitative growth. This study draws out revitalizing and hindering factors of Korean IPTV industry through a case study on 'A' corporation which is leading domestic IPTV market and exploratory study based on interviews with experts and, by developing influencing factors into Causal Loop Diagram through system dynamics research methodology, draws out core issues in vitalization of domestic IPTV industry and suggests alternatives. Therefore, it is expected that this study will provide more diverse practical implications than preceding studies which drew out one-dimensional issues and alternatives and help vitalize Korean IPTV industry by minimizing negative effects and maximizing positive ones.

This paper describes a study on the FRACAS(Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System)-based dependability control platform for domestic urban railway trains. There are more demands for the verification of the dependability of trains as it becomes a regulation for train manufacturers to verify the dependability recently. Train manufacturers as well as railway operators need a effective FRACAS solution to perform the verification of the dependability. Yet current FRACAS solutions have limitations to support the verification processes effectively. This paper addresses the issues of current FRACAS solutions and suggests a FRACAS framework designed for the domestic urban railway trains. Service failure scenarios are standardized using the proposed availability model to implement a more user-friendly and reliable platform. A new FRACAS-based platform for the dependability control (SCARF^®) has been developed to implement the suggested framework. The detail interfaces and functions of the platform are explained. The SCARF^® platform is expected to engage the increasing demands for the dependability control successfully enhancing the reliability, maintainability, availability and safety of domestic urban railway trains eventually.
