  • An efficient heuristic solution procedure is developed for the minimum location problems. The gradient direction method and modified gradient approach are developed due to the differentiability of the objective functions. Suboptimal step size is obtained analytically. A Modified Gradient Procedure (NGP) is presented and compared with the hyperboloid approximation procedure (HAP) which is one of the best known methods.

  • We derive lower bounds of the scalar curvature on complete non-compact gradient Yamabe solitons under some integral curvature conditions. Based on this, we prove that potential functions of Yamabe solitons have at most quadratic growth for distance function. We also obtain a finite topological type property on complete shrinking gradient Yamabe solitons under suitable scalar curvature assumptions.

  • Supporting decision-makers involves not only functions of conventional DSS such as problem identification, alternative generation and selection but also education and business processing. The purpose of this paper is to propose Decision-Maker Support System (DMSS) that comprehensively supports decision-makers who should enhance their decision quality. The DMSS consists of three core subsystem: distance learning system, conventional DSS and ERP system.

  • In this paper, we propose a generalized Kullback-Leibler (KL) information for measuring the distance between two distribution functions where the extension to the censored case is immediate. The generalized KL information has the nonnegativity and characterization properties, and its censored version has the additional property of monotonic increase. We also extend the discussion to the discrete case and propose a generalized censored measure which is comparable to Pearson's chi-square statistic.

  • Data Loggers for environmental monitoring are mostly dispersion in installation and systems located at long distance from monitoring system. And, it requests mostly flexible functions and high performances. that can fit to various sensor inputs, sensor interfaces and conditions or system working. In this research, we developed the micro controller based Data Logger with minimum hardware construction that allows the higher flexibility of application. Finally, we developed software function for water quality monitoring and tested in real system launched at Han river.

  • In this paper, we show that various navigation constant values in PNG law can result in as optimal gains when we introduce proper time-varying weighting functions into the cost function of an optimal control problem. we then apply this idea to the guidance problem where we are required to achieve a given impact angle as well as the zero miss distance. As a result, we obtain a set of optimal guidance laws each of which could be related to a navigation constant in PNG. Some basic properties of these guidance laws are also presented.

  • This article presents a new acceleration/deceleration method for real-time control of autonomous mobile robots. In this method, a function which produces the table of acceleration/deceleration in real-time is proposed. This function, while satisfying the basic concept of mechanics, can choose both various ranges of velocity and distance ranges for the selected velocities. Moreover it can control motors with real time. This function is convenient to be realized by programming. and it is faster than other functions because it can be made by assembly language.

  • In this paper, we establish coupled fixed point theorems for mixed monotone mappings satisfying nonlinear contraction involving a pair of altering distance functions in ordered G-metric spaces. Via presented theorems we extend and generalize the results of Harjani et al. [J. Harjani, B. L$\acute{o}$pez and K. Sadarangani, Fixed point theorems for mixed monotone operators and applications to integral equations, Nonlinear Anal. 74 (2011) 1749-1760] and Choudhury and Maity [B.S. Choudhury and P. Maity, Coupled fixed point results in generalized metric spaces. Math. Comput. Model. 54 (2011), 73-79].

  • In this paper we introduce some adaptive M-estimators using selector statistics to estimate the center of symmetric and continuous underlying distributions. This selector statistics is based on the idea of Hogg(1983) and Hogg et. al. (1988) who used averages of some order statistics to discriminate underlying distributions. In this paper, we use the functions of sample quantiles as selector statistics and determine the suitable quantile points based on maximizing the distance index to discriminate distributions under consideration. In Monte Carlo study, this robust estimation method works pretty good in wide range of underlying distributions.
