Users' demands on the space are changing in variety. These demands include reasonable space and form, harmonious composition with surroundings and esthetic satisfaction that could be brought by personal tastes and preferences. In addition, models that are introduced from designing process and from various forms tend to lack objective decision making standard. Accordingly it is difficult to find a clear alternative plan and process. In an effort to solve these problems, the objects of this study are; to propose an analysis model of image and space by using image process techniques that are on study in the field of artificial intelligence based on acquisition of digital image and to verify the application possibilities of such analysis model, 'Isovist' on quantitative analysis. The model can be applied with variable analysis model, as digital image process and other analysis model such as 'Isovist' It is possible that further study can complement problems from this study.

The one of the most meaningful change in the recent ubiquitous environment is the omnipresence of public digital display device for providing ubiquitous information. It is the important issue to provide publicity as well as adaptive information to each user in the field of the public digital display device. This research proposes the idea ensuring fast response speed by the selection of user preference function. The preference function is selected by statistics using Zipf distribution in the system comprising mobile device and digital display device based on NFC (Near Field Communication). The idea is proved by CPM-GOMS model and the improvement of user response can be achieved.

Electronic environment affects archival community to a great extent. It redefines virtually every stage of archival management form creation to current and semi-current use, to appraisal, and to preservation of records. Faced with the problems caused by ever increasing electronic records, the community is forced to reconsider traditional concepts, approaches, methodologies, even the basic paradigm embedded in archival theory and practice. The present paper discusses the need to reexamine principles and techniques of archival management in the light of digital environment. It also urges archives and archival institutions, the archival profession, or the archival community at large, to participate in this critical enterprise. Success in this endeavor will, eventually, pave the road toward creating, organizing, providing access to, preserving reliably and authentically electronic records and designing proper system for the societal collective memory in recorded digital information.

The purpose of this study was to develop a digital textbook on 'structure and contraction mechanism of skeletal muscle' with the learning model for biomimicry-based convergence. The unit of 'structure and contraction mechanism of skeletal muscle' is a part of Life Science I in high school. The convergence learning model was designed with three phases of biomimicry-based convergence (Exploration-Design-Implementation) including 3D modeling & printing. The developed digital textbook was composed of 8 sessions which contains the following learning contents : Exploration of skeletal muscle, creative designing of skeletal muscle using sketch application and 3D modeling, convergent implementing of the designed using 3D printing, exploration of muscle contraction, creative designing of muscle contraction using sketch application and 3D modeling, and convergent implementing of the designed using 3D printing. Each session is also involved in the contents of gallery widgets, media widgets, keynote widgets, sketch widgets, the cloud, polling widgets, and review widgets for interactive and mobile learning. After administering the developed digital textbook to 20 high school students, it was shown a positive effectiveness on life science learning for high school students. Moreover, the digital textbook was evaluated as to promote student's abilities on creative designs and implementation related to biomimicry-based convergence. The digital textbook was also shown a favorable response on students' interest and self-directed learning on life science.

This is a user experience study of factors that should be considered in designing home appliances experience service. Untact services are emerging, but the development of home appliances sector is in early stage. Based on the six factors of Stephen P. Anderson's Creating Pleasurable Interface Model, this study conducted surveys, 1:1 in-depth interviews, and participation observations to measure and analyze user experience. In this study, I compared 4060s and 2030s's user experience in that the untact services raise the digital alienation among middle-senior-aged. As a result, there were significant differences between the two, including the opposite satisfaction in terms of reliable, usable and pleasurable factors. I hope that this study will be of strategic help in designing future home appliance experience services.

This paper presents a designing of a digital hearing aid processor (DHAP) chip being operated by a dedicated DSP core. The DHAP for hearing aid devices must be feasible within a size and power consumption required. Furthermore, it should be able to compensate for wide range of hearing losses and allow sufficient flexibility for the algorithm development. In this paper, a programmable 16-bit fixed-point DSP core is employed thor the designing of the DHAP. The designed DHAP performs a nonlinear loudness correction of 8 frequency bands based on audiometric measurements of impaired subjects. By employing a programmable DSP, the DHAP provides all the flexibility needed to implement audiological algorithms. In addition, the chip has low-power feature and $5, 500\times5000$$\mu$$m^2$ dimensions that fit for wearable hearing aids.

This study suggests an effective online guide for foreign teachers who want to teach English in Korean schools. When designing this guide for overseas applicants, there should be a consistent analysis to reflect the process of the system. Thus, this paper provides an analysis and results for an integrated online guide to increase the efficiency based on the pedagogical framework for analysis of the 'ADDIE' model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The number of job applicants who wish to teach English in Korea is growing rapidly because Korea is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and the 'Korean Wave' has especially been experiencing significant changes with the development of social network services and digital technologies. As a result, overseas applicants' expectations regarding Korea when they are seeking information and applying is very high, but the aspects of the procedure provided by the government are somewhat disappointing. The paper presents customer needs and specific recommendation for each step of the application process to improve the guide's effectiveness.

The purpsoe of automatic steering system is to keep the ship's course stable with the minimum course error and rudder angle, and there have been a number of studies as to the optimal design and adjustment of the autopilot. Recently, modern control theories are being used widely in analyzing and designing the system. When a ship is at sea, autopilot installed on the ship plays an important role, particularly in the respect of economic aspects, that is, when the design and the adjustment of adjustable parameters are not conducted perfectly, the amount of loss in energy and the extension of sailing distance become large. Therefore the optimal design and adjustment of a autopilot are very important. Though P.I.D type autopilots are widely spread and generally used in modern ships, the suitability and the adjusting method are not clarified. In this paper the authors considered the stabilaity and the economical efficiency of the P.I.D. type autopilot and investigated various facts which should be considered at the time of designing and using the P.I.D. type autopilot through the digital computer simulation.

This study proposes the direction of planning and designing for the media related facilities through the future concepts of media-center even though the concept and environment of the media-center are developed mealy at elementary schools in Korea. This study investigates and analyzes whether the present facilities are ready for the efficient education and improved facilities through comparison between after and before the 7th education program of systems of the academic support facilities. Therefore this study proposes the direction of developing and designing media-center through the field survey, make-up questionaries and analyzing architectural drawings of media related facilities for the future.

TV broadcasting platform is evolving to the digital-TV, which is supporting data broadcasting service. Although the data broadcasting services (i.e., games, wether information, stock trading service) provide rich entertainment to viewers, they make the operation manners of digital-TV so complex that some viewers feel difficulty in using their TV sets. The paper tackles the problem by devising a method for constructing viewer-specific EPG configurations based on the viewers' ability of handling IT devices. The paper also propose an environment (e.g., EPG configuration transmitting method, EPG structure) that implements dynamically an EPG configuration based on the viewer's choice of EPG configuration.
