Partial Model Matching Control System Design by Considering Pole-Placements (극배치를 고려한 제분 Model Matching 제어계 설계)

  • Identification of the plants is not easy task especially in the fields of process control. From this point of view, Kitamori developed a method of control system design based on partial knowledge about controlled processes. However, it is difficult to control the oscillatory plant by kitamori's method. In this paper, we develope a method of partial model matching control system design, which have desirable pole-placements in order to improve the above defects. Design examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.

  • Lighting is one of the largest energy, integrated lighting system with daylight and artificial lighting has been suggested. In such system, perimeter zone can be illuminated by daylighting and the deep area of room by artificial lighting. So, the study is to develope estimation nomograph of lighting energy by turnning-off depth and lighting control systems during daytime. For the purpose, energy nomograph has been developed to apply to side-lit office guilding and the use and limitation of the nomograph has been discussed.

  • The main objective of this study is to develope the PSC-I girder for long span bridge. This study investigates the structural behavior of Postcracking stage and efficiency of proposed PSC-I girder using 1/2 scaled prototype beam specimen. Three specimens are tested under three point static loading system. Ideally, the Load-displacement relationship is trilinear. The crack patterns and failure mode of each specimen are reported in this paper and they are compared to each other with ductility and strength.

  • To develope the high speed gas cutting tip, consists of 3 pieces, supersonic axisymmetric jets issuing from various kinds of nozzles with a throat diameter of a few milimeters were experimentally investigated. The nozzle inlet pressure was varied from 4 to 8 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The parameters in nozzle design were throat diameter, throat length, taper angle, outlet diameter. The total pressure variation was measured by the pilot tube, 0.5mm outer diameter, along the center of the free stream jet. Also color Shilieren system was used to visualize the flowfield.

  • The purpose of this study is to develope a stage management model for R&D projects using expert system in order to evaluate the successful accomplishment and diagnose the success level of projects at each development stage. Constructing this model, we classified the development projects for electronic parts, and designed the basic system structure through causation analysis between the factors of success influence and R&D process. We gathered the input data of expert system by enquete survey, and used ID3 algorithm in order to extract the reasoning rule.

  • This study deals with the microvalve, which is composed of the multilayer bender type PZT actuator, actuator controller and microvalve body. The object of this study is to develope the microvalve with multilayer bender type PZT actuator. In order to achieve this object, prototype PZT actuator and microvalve were suggested and manufactured. Also, the performance of this model was evaluated through the experiments.

  • This study is to develope the quantitative risk assessment program for consequence analysis of fire and explosion (PML-Chem), which is applicable to the chemical plants. The advantages of PML-Chem is easy to use and acquire results. Especially, PML-Chem was embedded real weather condition database for major chemical plants in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ complex in country. Also, reliability of PML-Chem was verified through comparing PML-Chem with PHAST-Professional which is already commercial.

  • The major objective of this study was to develope a computer simulation model to analyze drying process in a deep bed with natural air. The approach used to describe the continuous drying process in a deep bed was to divide the process into many small processes and simulate them by consecutively calculating the changes of grain and air conditions that occurred during short increment of time. Success criterion of the drying system was based on grain deterioration estimated by drymatter decomposition during drying. The results of the experimental test showed that the model satisfactory.
