Urbanization and the increase in building scale have amplified the complexity of M.E.P design. Traditional design methods face limitations when considering intricate pathways and variables, leading to an emergent need for research in automated design. Initial algorithmic approaches encountered challenges in addressing complex architectural structures and the diversity of M.E.P types. However, with the launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT-3.5 beta version in 2022, new opportunities in the automated design sector were unlocked. ChatGPT, based on the Large Language Model (LLM), has the capability to deeply comprehend the logical structures and meanings within training data. This study analyzed the potential application and latent value of LLMs in M.E.P design. Ultimately, the implementation of LLM in M.E.P design will make genuine automated design feasible, which is anticipated to drive advancements across designs in the construction sector.

In this paper, design of quasi-cyclic(QC) low-density parity-check codes is proposed to have full diversity for space-time bit-interleaved coded modulation(ST-BICM) systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions that the proposed scheme has full diversity are proved as the condition that submatrices corresponding to the system part of codewords are invertible. And new construction method of binary invertible matrices for QC LDPC codes in ST-BICM systems are also proposed and modification for parity-check matrices are also explained.

This paper proposes a miniaturized high-isolation diversity antenna for wearable wireless body area network (WBAN) applications. An inverted-F type radiating element is used to reduce the overall dimension of the proposed antenna to $30mm{\times}30mm{\times}2.5mm$. The antenna performance on the human body phantom is analyzed through simulation and the performance of the fabricated antenna is verified by comparing the measured data with that of the simulation when the antenna is placed on a semi-solid flat phantom with equivalent electrical properties of a human body. The fabricated antenna has a 10 dB return loss bandwidth over the Industrial Scientific Medical (ISM) band from 2.35 GHz to 2.71 GHz and isolation is higher than 28 dB at 2.45 GHz. The measured peak gain of antenna elements # 1 and # 2 is -0.43 dBi and -0.54 dBi, respectively. Performance parameters are analyzed, including envelope correlation coefficient (ECC), mean effective gain (MEG), and the MEG ratio. In addition, the specific absorption ratio (SAR) distributions of the proposed antenna are measured for consideration in use.

Random beanforming exploits multiuser diversity gain in static channels. Since the gain is restricted by the user population, some extended works have been proposed. Among them, a codebook-based opportunistic beamforming technique forms multiple random beams with small pilots. The technique however has difficulty in designing beams flexibly by the channel statistics. In this paper, we propose a technique forming the multiple random beams by rotating codebooks. The proposed technique enables the flexible design of beams so that multiuser diversity and beam selection diversity are exploited simultaneously with small pilots robust to the channel statistics.
Amaranths (Amaranthus sp.), an endemic American crop, are now grown widely across the world. This study used 14 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers to analyze the genetic diversity of 74 amaranth accessions from the United States, with eight accessions from Australia as controls. One hundred twenty-two alleles, averaging eight alleles per locus, were observed. The average major allele frequency, expected heterozygosity, and polymorphism information content (PIC) were 0.44, 0.69, and 0.65, respectively. The structure analysis based on genetic distance classified 77 accessions (94%) into three clusters, while five accessions (6%) were admixtures. Among the three clusters, Cluster 3 had the highest allele number and PIC values, while Cluster 2 had the lowest. The lowest FST was between Clusters 1 and 3, indicating that these two clusters have higher gene flow between them compared to the others. This finding was reasonable because Cluster 2 included most of the Australian accessions. These results indicated satisfactory genetic diversity among U.S. amaranths. These findings can be used to design effective breeding programs involving different plant characteristics.

This paper presents a hardware implementation of the STS diversity system, utilizing FPGAs and introduces the function and the design method of each of the modules of the system. In order to improve the performance of the implemented STS system which is an open loop transmit diversity system under fading environment, the exact estimation of the communication channel is essential. Therefore, we propose the optimal forgetting factor to estimate pilot channel in this paper, It is shown in this paper that the pilot channel is estimated using the forgetting factor of 0.7 without increasing the integration range of the pilot channel even when the power of pilot channel is not sufficiently large in CDMA 2000 1x signal environment.

In this paper, we propose a reliable Image transmission system with Decision Feedback Equalization (DFE), and use diversity combining techniques over multipath fading channels. It is shown that the proposed system has the features of simplicity in implementation with DFE and diversity combining techniques without modifying DFE. This study includes error concealment techniques for reconstruction of missing blocks in JPEG. To verify and compare the performance of our proposed system, the computer simulations have been performed in three diversity combining cases.
Purpose - This study aims to examine the antecedents of willingness to pay in the domain of duty free shop. Design/methodology/approach - This study chooses willingness to pay as explained variable. The candidates of explanatory variables are price fairness, brand awareness, employee service, product diversity, and crowding. This study uses survey to explore the linear relation between variables. This research collected data using online panel data collection service. The number of valid observation is 265. The research targe is Lotte duty free store. Statistical analysis was for statistical inference. To attain the information of survey respondents, frequency analysis is employed. Next, this study implemented exploratory factor analysis and reliability to ensure both validity and reliability of measurement items. This study executed multiple regression analysis to test research hypotheses Findings - Regrading results, brand awareness, employee service, and product diversity are positively associated with willingness to pay of duty free shop product. Moreover, the results of regression analysis suggest the inverted-U shape association between crowding and willingness to pay. However, price fairness appeared as non-significant variable to account for willingness to pay in the multiple regression analysis. Originality - This study contributes to the literature by examining duty free shop customers more.
Purpose According to a recent survey, more than 90% of customers make purchase or use decisions for their products and services, primarily based on word-of-mouth(WOM) information (reviews, recommendations, ratings, etc.). However, few studies have explored what factors influence user's WOM intention in the context of OTT service. To address this gap, this study investigates the antecedent factors of WOM intention by adopting stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory and pleasure arousal dominance (PAD) theory as a theoretical basis. Design/methodology/approach The research model consists of stimulus factors (diversity of original content, aesthetics, interactivity, personalization quality), emotional factors (pleasure, excitement, dominance), and behavioral factor (WOM intention). The research hypothesis was tested using the survey data collected from OTT service users of 305. Findings The result reveals that diversity of original content significantly affects on pleasure and arousal whereas it is not associated with dominance. Findings indicate that aesthetics positively influences pleasure, and interactivity is not associated with arousal. It is also proven that personalization quality has a positive effect on dominance. In addition, pleasure, arousal, and domination are proven to be positively and significantly related to WOM intention.
Purpose - This study aims to determine whether four characteristics of tourism content on YouTube (i.e., entertainment; credibility; diversity; and informativeness) influence tourists' destination choices. Design/methodology/approach - A total of 201 Koreans and Mongolians who use YouTube were surveyed in the research. Validity and reliability, correlation, and regression analyze were performed in SPSS 29.0. Findings - As a result of the study, it was found that the features of YouTube tourism content, such as entertainment, credibility, and diversity, have a positive effect on tourists' choice of destination. Also, it was found that there is no difference in the perception of tourism content features between Korean and Mongolian YouTube users and it is not statistically significant. Research implications or Originality - Tourists' YouTube content shows that YouTube features such as entertainment, variety, and trustworthiness, influencing tourists' travel destination choices. The limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
