This research is a study on student's understanding fundamental concepts of mathematical curriculum, especially in geometry domain. The goal of researching is to analyze student's concepts about that domain and get the mathematical teaching methods. We developed various questions of descriptive assessment. Then we set up the term, procedure of research for the understanding student's knowledge of geometric figures. And we analyze the student's understanding extent through investigating questions of descriptive assessment. In this research, we concluded that most of students are having difficulty with defining the fundamental concepts of mathematics, especially in geometry. Almost all the students defined the fundamental conceptions of mathematics obscurely and sometimes even missed indispensable properties. And they can't distinguish between concept definition and concept image. Prior to this study, we couldn't identify this problem. Here are some suggestions. First, take time to reflect on your previous mathematics method. And then compile some well-selected questions of descriptive assessment that tell us more about student's understanding in geometric concepts.

이 연구의 목적은 대학기록관의 특성에 맞는 기록물 전거레코드 구축을 위한 기술요소를 제안하되, 온라인 환경에서도 활용가능한 EAC-CPF와 융합한 기술요소를 제안하고 이를 근거로 전거레코드를 구축한 실례를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 첫째, 대학의 기능에 따른 조직의 구성과 특성을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 기록물 생산자별 주요 특성들을 분석하였다. 둘째, 국내표준인 국가기록원 전거레코드 지침과 국제표준인 ISAAR(CPF) 2판을 비교·분석하여 대학기록물 전거레코드 구축을 위한 기술요소들을 제안하되, 이를 다시 EAC-CPF와 매핑하여 최종 기술요소를 도출하였다. 끝으로, 제안된 기술요소를 토대로 실제 전거레코드를 구축한 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 대학기록물 생산자의 맥락정보를 검색을 위한 표준화된 접근점을 제공하기 위한 구체적인 기술요소들을 제안하고 이를 데이터표준구조와 융합하여 온라인 환경에서도 생산자 맥락정보의 검색이 가능하게 했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

본 연구는 수학과 서술형 평가에 관한 문항개발 사례 연구로서 교사들이 학교 현장에서 실제적으로 활용할 수 있는 평가문항과 평가기준을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 평가문항과 평가기준의 개발절차를 마련하고 초등학교 4-나 단계의 각 단원에 해당되는 구체적인 서술형 평가 문항과 그에 대한 평가기준을 개발하였다. 개발 과정에서 문항의 신뢰도 검증을 위하여 서술형 평가 문항과 평가기준을 초등학교 4학년 학급에 적용한 결과를 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study was to improve academic achievement and mathematics learning attitudes in the formative assessment using descriptive problems as an effective teaching method. In this paper we set the following research questions. First, how would you improve students' academic achievement utilizing descriptive evaluation? Second, how would improve students' mathematics learning attitudes utilizing descriptive evaluation? Third, what was the reaction utilizing the descriptive method to evaluate? The result of this study could be seen as follows. The experimental group than the control group on academic achievement shows a significant improvement. Second, the experimental group compared to the control group in mathematics learning attitude changes could be helpful and appreciated. Third, experimental group than in the control group indicates significance could be seen in the reaction.

Purpose - In recent years, many companies include franchises have acquire customers by making an online stores and they are carrying out permission marketing activities with e-mail and SMS. Permission marketing requires voluntary customer approval for receiving commercial messages such as cross-selling and upselling. Therefore, it is necessary for the business to induce the customer's acceptance. The purpose of this study is to examine which type of different messages can affect higher in consumer persuasion. Thus, we investigated the impact of descriptive norm message on intention of reception in an online store context, and its interaction with chronic regulatory focus. Research design, data, and methodology - This study hypothesized that the descriptive norm message would affect positive influences to consumers' intension of reception. Specially, this study inquired into whether the interaction effect between descriptive norm and regulatory focus. To verify the hypothesis, we conducted 2 × 2 between-subject factorial design with message type (general message and descriptive norm message) and regulatory focus(promotion focus and prevention focus) as independent variables. Participants of the experiment were assigned to one of 2 kind experimental situations randomly according to characteristics of message type. A total of 131 participants (descriptive norm message: 65, general message: 66) responded for this study. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and two-way ANOVA. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, we found main effects of the descriptive norm message. The intention of reception were significantly higher in the descriptive norm message rather than general message as in previous researches. Second, interaction effect between the descriptive norm message and regulatory focus was significant. The prevention focus (vs. promotion focus) were hight in a positive behavior intention when the descriptive norm message was given. Conclusions - This study verifies the main effect and interaction effect of descriptive norm message and regulatory focus on the consumers' intention of reception in permission marketing, and persuasive message in the online store context. The results of this study will provide various advantages to companies that want to establish long lasting relationship with customers by carrying out permission marketing in the future.

The objective of this study was to investigate taste profiles and the correlation of Doenjang soup solution prepared with three different temperatures (5, 25, $45^{\circ}C$) and using an electronic nose (e-nose), electronic tongue (e-tongue), and descriptive analyses by trained panelists. A total of 17sensory attributes were generated from the descriptive analyses for the Doenjang soup solution. There were significant difference among the samples in the cooked soybean flavor, the cooked soybean odor, the soy sauce odor, the sweet odor, the sweet taste, and the sweet aftertaste attributes. The intensities of these sensory attributes tended to increase as the serving temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. There were seven volatile compounds detected by the electronic nose: ethanol, propanal, 2-methylpropanal, ethyl acetate, 3-methylbutanal, and beta-pinene. The intensities of the volatile compounds increased as the temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. On the other hand, the intensities of the basic tastes by the e-tongue decreased as the temperature of the Doenjang soup solution increased. In conclusion, the e-nose, e-tongue, and descriptive analysis results showed different correlations depending on the temperature of the Doenjang soup solutions.

The current study aims to determine the effects of descriptive menu labels on customers' purchase intentions in a restaurant setting. The research identified the importance of information provided by the menu labels as well as how the different types of descriptive menu labels affect patrons' purchase intentions in an American-style restaurant. The subjects evaluated in this study were foreign clients who frequented the Western cuisine restaurant in the United States Forces Korea. A total of 351 questionnaires were analyzed by factor analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and regression analysis by means of SPSS 15.0. As a result, it was found that comprehension of menu and price were the most necessary pieces of information for customers encountering menu labels, and sensory type of descriptive menu labels was the most preferred. In addition, differences in the purchase intentions of customers in response to different types of descriptive menu labels suggests that there were more statistically significant differences in the perception of purchase intention among descriptive labels as compared to usual menu labels.

Sujeonggwa is a popular Korean traditional beverage. However, consumers only prepare it at home on special occasions due to the time and effort required. Developing a convenient form of Sujeonggwa may promote its consumption. The objectives of this study were to 1) develop Sujeonggwa in a tea bag using different sweeteners and 2) describe the characteristics of Sujeonggwa's flavor in tea bag samples and 3) determine how well consumers accept the tea bag samples. A total of four types of Sujeonggwa in a tea bag were developed: two samples with varying amount of sugar, another sample using sugar and stevia and the last sample using sugar and short chain fructo-oligosaccharide as a sweetener. A commercial ginger tea and cinnamon tea were used as control products. Descriptive analysis was conducted on the same six samples and a descriptive panel identified its attributes. A total of 61 consumers evaluated acceptability using a nine-point hedonic scale and how they felt about intensities of the samples using a just-about-right scale. The results indicated that consumers liked Sujeonggwa samples in a tea bag more than commercial ginger tea and cinnamon tea.

This research is about how the adapted learning of descriptive assessment problems influence on the extension of the ability of the students. As a result, adapted learning of descriptive assessment problems totally led to positive effect, and according to the analyses of behavioral objectives divided into knowledge, comprehension and problem solving, they had more effect on the ability of students' problem solving. Learning attitude of the students were changed into self-centered learning attitude and interest on the subject of mathematics were highly increased since the research had started. If we adapt this research to the learning of mathematics after we develop various problems that can develop creativity, I'm sure that it will be a effective way for both extension of the ability and problem solving ability of the students.

The purpose of this research was to make fair assessment methods which took into account characteristics of mathematically underachievers. The researchers devised an descriptive tests and interviews and applied them to the mathematics underachievers who could not reveal their achievements in the traditional assessment and then analyzed their cognitive and affective characteristics in the alternative assessments. After selecting three students by the normal assessment made of simple subjective and multiple choice questions, the cognitive and affective characteristics found in the general assessment were reflected to the descriptive tests and interviews. The descriptive tests and interviews are comprised of descriptive narrations and informal interview questions. After the assessment, the teacher and students gave feedbacks one another. All the assessment activities were recorded by a camcorder to analyze cognitive and affective characteristics of the children. Throughout the research, the following conclusions were made. The mathematics underachievers showed the characteristics which didn't appeared in the normal assessment. They showed normal abilities of problem solving and communication In the cognitive area. Also they brought in positive result in most parts in the affective area. However, the student B displayed considerable ability of mathematical thinking that is over the average level of mathematical underachievers. This implies that we can definite the mathematical underachievers differently when we use the detailed and relief assessment method instead of the traditional assessment. On the other hand, one student tended to depend on the teacher and another student overheard what the others talk during the study. This defect should be complemented by the further studies about assessment method for the mathematical underachievers. Also appropriate assessment methods should be made for applying to the various mathematical underachievers. Many studies have been concentrated on the learning for mathematical underachievers but there is little concern about the assessment for the mathematical underachievers. However it is the fundamental way to reduce the number of mathematics underachievers that we construct consistent learning methods and assessments for the mathematical underachievers.
