A Study on Excellent Universities with Video and Media Field in the USA

  • In this paper, I studied several universities which are especially famous for video and media fields in the United States to develop our international competitiveness. I selected the outstanding US universities and researched the various indexes of corresponding department, internship program and other activities related with company. Then, analyzed the research results and compared with the department of Video Broadcasting at the K women's university in our country. As a result, the retention rate and the graduate rate of the 4-years universities(bachelor's degree) are very higher than the 2-years associated degree among the US universities. On the other hand, although the department of Video Broadcasting at the K women's university is the associated degree course, it shows up the highest the retention rate and the graduate rate than the US universities. Therefore, we are able to recognize that K Women's University has managed its students well. However, the employment rate of the K Women's University was poor than the US universities due to the lack of the internship programs, other activities supported by companies and the career service center.

성과 나이에 따른 인지 갈등 유발 및 개념 변화의 비교 (A Comparison of Cognitive Conflict and Conceptual Change by Age and Gender)

  • 본 연구에서는 변칙 사례를 통하여 '밀폐된 용기속에서 양초 연소 후 수면이 상승하는 원인'을 학습하는 과정에서, 인지 갈등 유발과 개념의 변화 및 파지 정도를 학생들의 성과 나이에 따라 비교하였다. 변칙 사례에 대한 7가지 반응 유형을 '초기 이론에 대한 신념 변화'에 따라 4단계로 서열화하였다. 나이에 따른 차이를 비교한 결과, 나이가 많은 학생들은 어린 학생들에 비해 인지 갈등 유발과 개념의 변화 및 파지가 효과적이었다. 그러나 인지 갈등 유발 정도와 개념의 변화 및 파지 사이에는 상관이 유의미하지 않았다. Mann-Whitney U 검증 결과, 인지 갈등유발과 개념의 변화 및 파지에 있어서 성에 따른 차이는 발견되지 않았다.

양이온성 폴리우레탄-아크릴레이트계 보류향상제의 합성 및 특성 (Synthesis and Characteristics of Cationic Polyurethane-Acrylates as a Retention Aid)

  • Polyurethane prepolymer에 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA)와 acrylamide(AA)를 반응 시켜 두 가지 타입의 polyurethane-acrylate 중합체들을 합성하였다. 합성된 중합체들을 소량의 benzyl chloride와 증류수를 이용하여 수용성 중합체인 폴리우레탄-아크릴레이트계 양이온성 보류향상제를 제조하였다. 이렇게 두 가지 형태로 제조된 중합체에 대하여 보류향상제로서 중요한 특성인 보류, 탈수특성 및 비압축강도 등의 물성들을 다양한 방법으로 고찰하였다. 합성된 폴리우레탄-아크릴레이트계 양이온성 보류향상제는 rpm에 따라 큰 변화 없이 70% 내외의 보류도를 유지하였으며, 합성한 보류향상제의 첨가로 인한 화학적 산소 요구량(COD)의 경우는 미첨가시의 COD보다 상당히 낮은 값이 관찰되었다. 탈수량의 경우 무처리한 펄프보다 보류향상제의 처가 시에 탈수성이 향상되었으며, 보류향상제의 첨가 시 비압축강도가 소량 증가되었고, PU-HEMA가 PU-AA보다 우수한 강도를 나타내었다.

  • In this paper, a series of amphoteric polyacrylamide(PAM) with different molecular weight and charge were synthesized and used as retention and dewatering aids. Better products had been selected and tested under varied conditions. Effects of molecular weight, cationic charge density, degree of hydrolysis and other factors of PAM on retention and dewatering of papermaking were also considered. Finally, synthesized quaternary and tertiary ammonium amphoteric polyacrylamide were practised in paper mill trial.

  • Papermaking technology has drastically improved over the last 20 years to face new challenges. Because environmental regulations have become increasingly strict, papermaking systems have had to accommodate elevated recycled pulp content and an increased use of recycled process water. Process water in papermaking systems has become more dirtier and reduced polymer efficiency. Amphoteric PAM demonstrated a higher degree of stability in a high conductivity environment compared to cationic PAM. This was illustrated by the improved retention performance, particularly the ash retention. This amphoteric polymer can be used for board or newsprint production using recycled pulp, especially for the systems where polymer dissolving water is high in conductivity and degradation of cationic functional groups of cationic PAM can occur.

밀레니얼 세대 간호사의 간호근무환경, 직무 착근도, 직업존중감이 재직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Millennials Generation Nurse's Nursing Work Environment, Job Embeddedness and Job Esteem on Retention Intention)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the nursing work environment, job embeddedness, and job esteem on the retention intention in the millennial generation nurses. The subjects of this study are nurses working in general hospitals with more than 300 beds. Among nurses born in the 1980s and early 2000s, 97 agreed to study. As a result of the study, there was a significant difference in academic background.(F=6.74, p=.002) In terms of final education, those with graduate or higher were higher than those with three-year graduation and four-year graduation Retention intention is the degree of job placement (r=.319, p=.001), job respect (r=.331, p=.001) had a positive relationship with the nursing working environment (r=-.252, p=.013) was negatively correlated. Factors affecting the retention intention is 12.9% explanatory skills as a result of the introduction of job embeddedness, nursing work environment, and job esteem. It is necessary to understand the characteristics of the generation in order to increase the retention intention as a millennial generation nurse.

  • This study was performed to elucidate the effect of degree of substitution and degree of polymerization of CMC on the rheological characteristics of coating color which is consisted of calcium carbonate as pigment. The results were as follows: 1. It appeared that DP of CMC rather DS has an effect on the low shear viscosity of coating color. 2. According as shear rate increased, the effect of DP and DS on high shear viscosity of coating color decreased. 3. According to increasing DS and DP, the water retention of coating color increased.

CMC섬유내의 양이온이 섬유의 흡습성과 인장 성질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cations on the Sorption and the Tensile Properties of CMC Fibers)

  • The Purpose of this study was to improve the moisture related properties of viscose rayon fibers. Viscose rayon filament yarns were partially etherified to make CMC fibers. CMC fibers were converted to the sodium, calcium, and ferric salt forms by an ion exchange method. The property changes of ion exchanged CMC fibers were examined. Cation contents of fibers were varied depending on the degree of substitution of CMC fibers. The strength of Na, Ca, Fe-CMC was higher than H-CMC owing to the plasticization by moisture sorption and the crosslinking by cations. The moisture regain was increased by carboxymethylation and that of Fe-CMC showed the highest value. The degree of swelling determined by the water retention value was observed to be Na-CMC > Ca-CMC > H-CMC > Fe-CMC. The solution retention value was decreased in the order . Ca-CMC > Na-CMC > H-CMC > Fe-CMC.

신문용지의 제조공정과 품질 개선을 위한 양성전분의 탐색 (Exploitation of Cationic Starches for Improving Papermaking Process and Quality of Newsprints)

  • To evaluate the efficiency of various cationic starches in improving retention drainage and strength properties of newsprints which are being made using extensive amount of domestic recycled wastepapers in a highly closed papermaking system diverse cationic starches have been prepared and tested. In the case of cationic starches with low charge density as the degree of substitution increas-es fines retention increased. Results also showed that the retention efficiency decreased sub-stantially for cationic starches with low DS when the conductivity of white water inceased. Tensile strength increased with the addition of cationic starches and then decreased. On the other hand internal bonding strength increased linearly with the addition of cationic starch. Oxidizing treatment of cationic starch was detrimental for retention and freeness improve-ment. Also crosslinking treatment of wet processed cationic starches made cationic starches less effective in retention and drainage.

제품 네트워크 분석을 이용한 고객의 구매제품 특성 비교 연구 (Product Network Analysis to Analyze the Purchase Behavior of Customers)

  • As development of information technologies, customer retention has been an important issue in the competing environment. A lot of researches focus on prediction of the churning customers and seeking their characteristics. However, relationships among customers or products have not been considered in existing researches. In this study, product networks are proposed and analyzed to investigate the differences of network characteristics of products purchased by potential churning customers and those of loyal customers. The product networks are constructed from real product purchase data collected from a Korean department store. We investigated the characteristic differences, such as the degree centrality, degree centralization, and density, of two product networks constructed by potential churning customers and the loyal customers. The results indicate that degree centrality, density and degree centralization of the product network of the loyal customers are higher than those of the potential churning customers. And the promotional products of the department store are resulted to be effective in attracting the loyal customers.
