  • Deadbeat property is well established in digital control system design, But in continuous time, it can hardly realized for it's asymtotic property. But recently japanese researchers suggested serveral method for continuous time deadbeat property. They use delay elements In polynomials and established for the deadbeat condition. By solving this condition, unknown coefficients in polynomials with delay elements is obtained. In this paper, design method for optimal continuous time deadbeat servo system using 2nd order smooting elementsis studied. Continuous time deadbeat controller is consisted of serial integral compensator and local feedback one in state feedback loop. Determining method for damping rations and natural frequencies of smothing elements is described. By computer simulations, control inputs and system outputs are shown to have desirable property such as smoothness.

  • Deadbeat property is well established in digital control system design in time domain. But in continuous time system, deadbeat is impossible because of it's ripples between sampling points. But several researchers suggested delay elements. From some specifications such as Internal model stability, physical realizations and finite time settling, unknown polynomials with delay elements in error transfer functions can be calculated. For the application to the real system, robustness property can be added. In this paper, error transfer function is specified with 1 delay element and unkown coefficients are calculated from the specs. Especially, by varying settling time and the user-specified poles, a deadbeat controller with lower order is obtained.

  • Due to the asymptotic property, deadbeat control can hardly applied to the continuous time system control. But some delay element method can deal such a problem. Except delay element method, well-known digital deadbeat control can br used with the aid of som smoothing elements. In this paper, and order smoothing element is used for the smoothing of the digital deadbeat controller. And this element is argumented to the plant, and so control problem is to control digitally the argumented system. We simulated this control system using Matlab language and finally apply this algorithm to the rotary inverted pendulum system.

  • 점근특성 때문에 deadbeat제어는 연속계시스템에는 거의 적용이 불가능하다. 그러나 지연요소법은 이런 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 지연요소법외에도 잘 알려진 디지털 deadbeat제어가 평활요소를 추가하여 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 2차 평활요소를 디지털 deadbeat제어기에 사용한다. 그리고 이 요소는 플랜트에 확장되고 따라서 확장된 시스템을 디지털제어하게 된다. 이 제어시스템을 Matlab언어를 사용하여 회전형 도립진자 시스템에 적용하여 시뮬레이션한다.

  • A new version of the discrete-time optimal FIR (finite impulse response) filter utilizing only the measurements of finite sliding estimation window is suggested for linear time-invariant state-space models. This filter is called the BLUFIR (best linear unbiased finite impulse response) filter since it provides the BLUE (best linear unbiased estimate) of the state obtained from the measurements of the estimation window. It is shown that the BLUFIR filter has the deadbeat property when there are no noises in the estimation window.

  • Continuous time system deadbeat controller(CdbC) has been studied mainly since 1992 especially by Japan researchers. They suggested delay elements. These elements stem from the finite Laplace Transform which is the starting point in deadbeat control system design in continuous time system. Every transfer function is established by these elements. From some conditions such as internal model stability and peasibility of a CdbC controller. unknown polynomials or coefficients can be calculated. In this paper, optimal pole placement of the closed loop system is suggested. From this. a CdbC controller with lower order can be obtained which attains the same level of weighted sensitivity function's H$_{\infty}$ norm used as a measure of the robustness property as existing CdbCs.

  • In this paper, a quasi-deadbeat minimax estimation (QME) is proposed as a new class of time-domain parameter estimations for deterministic generic linear models. Linearity, quasi-deadbeat property, FIR structure, and independency of the initial parameter information will be required in advance, in addition to a new performance criterion of a worst case gain between the disturbances and the current estimation error.   • In this paper, a new robust deadbeat minimax FIR filter (DMFF) is proposed for continuous-time state space signal models. Linearity, deadbeat property, FIR structure, and independence of the initial state information will be required in advance, in addition to a performance index of the worst case gain between the disturbance and the current estimation error. The proposed DMFF is obtained by directly minimizing a performance index with the deadbeat constraint. The proposed DMFF is represented first in a standard FIR form and then in an iterative form. The DMFF will be shown to be used also for the IIR structure. It is shown that the DMFF is similar in form to the existing receding horizon unbiased FIR filter (RHUFF) with some noise covariances. The former is a deterministic filter, while the latter is a stochastic filter.

  • This paper proposes a design method of a CDBC(Continuous-time Deadbeat Controller)system that takes into account the response between the sampling instant and using second-order smoothing elements. The continuous deadbeat controller is composed of a serial integral compensator and a local feedback compensator introduced into the state feedback loop. A DC servo motor is chosen for implementing CDBC algorithm. Especially according to the variable input and disturbance, corresponding CDBC design method is suggested. A Matlab Simulink is used for simulation with the Motor parameter. By computer simulations, control inputs and system outputs are shown to have desirable property such as smoothness.
