We propose the PAD (Power Aware Data-centric Routing Protocol), which finds minimum energy routes and prolongs network life-time, for the data-centric sensor networks. Firstly, the PAD discovers the minimum energy Property graph by removing redundant communication links. The proposed a1gorithm to find the minimum energy property graph is faster, simpler and easier to implement than existing aIgorithms. Secondly, the PAD runs the DDBF (Distributed Data-centric Bellman-Ford Algorithm) to determine routing paths between a base node and all sensor nodes. The DDBF selves the drawbacks of the distributed bellman-ford algorithm, i.e. slow convergence and a possible cyclic routing path. Since the PAD is a fully distributed algorithm with low overhead, it can be used in various kinds of resource limited sensor network applications.

Wireless sensor networks need middleware system for efficiently managing the constrained resource and sensing data because they need different sensing data type and protocol to communicate with heterogeneous sensor networks. Thus this paper proposes data-centric sensor middleware for heterogeneous sensor networks. The proposed middleware have to support various query processing of user applications, high-level request of users, manage heterogeneous sensor systems and universal sensing data type for node and user application.

Content Centric Network (CCN) is one of candidate technologies for the future Information Centric Networks. Recently, adopting CCN concept to wireless networks has extensively been studied. One of the well-known studies is Enhanced-Content-centric multiHop wireless NETwork (E-CHANET), which proposes efficient methods to deliver contents adopting CCN concept over wireless environment. In E-CHANET, in order for a provider to send a data packet, one interest packet from a consumer is required. In this paper, efficiency of data-interest handshaking in E-CHANET has been investigated. It is compared with a method using only one interest packet for all data packets through simulations. As results, while the handshaking provides transmission reliability, it increses content down load time too much.

Since Devices such labtop, tablet, smartphone have been developed, a lots of huge data that can be classified as content is flooded in the network. According to changing Internet usage, Content-Centric Network(CCN) what is new concept of Internet Architecture is appeared. Initially, CCN is studied on wired network. but recently, CCN is also studied on wireless network. Since a characteristic of wireless environment is different from a characteristic of wired environment, There are issues in wireless CCN. In this paper, we discuss improvement method of Data spread issue on wireless CCN. The proposed scheme of this paper use MAC Address of nodes when Interest and Data Packet are forwarded. As using the proposed scheme, we reduce the spread of Data and offer priority of forwarding to nodes of shortest path, reduce delay by modifying retransmission waiting time.
As accessibility to 3D printers increases, there is a growing frequency of exposure to chemicals associated with 3D printing. However, research on the toxicity and harmfulness of chemicals generated by 3D printing is insufficient, and the performance of toxicity prediction using in silico techniques is limited due to missing molecular structure data. In this study, quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) model based on data-centric AI approach was developed to predict the toxicity of new 3D printing materials by imputing missing values in molecular descriptors. First, MissForest algorithm was utilized to impute missing values in molecular descriptors of hazardous 3D printing materials. Then, based on four different machine learning models (decision tree, random forest, XGBoost, SVM), a machine learning (ML)-based QSAR model was developed to predict the bioconcentration factor (Log BCF), octanol-air partition coefficient (Log Koa), and partition coefficient (Log P). Furthermore, the reliability of the data-centric QSAR model was validated through the Tree-SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) method, which is one of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques. The proposed imputation method based on the MissForest enlarged approximately 2.5 times more molecular structure data compared to the existing data. Based on the imputed dataset of molecular descriptor, the developed data-centric QSAR model achieved approximately 73%, 76% and 92% of prediction performance for Log BCF, Log Koa, and Log P, respectively. Lastly, Tree-SHAP analysis demonstrated that the data-centric-based QSAR model achieved high prediction performance for toxicity information by identifying key molecular descriptors highly correlated with toxicity indices. Therefore, the proposed QSAR model based on the data-centric XAI approach can be extended to predict the toxicity of potential pollutants in emerging printing chemicals, chemical process, semiconductor or display process.
Wireless communication offers the flexibility to the node movement at the spatial dimension more than the wire communication not only in IP architecture but also in Content-Centric Networking. Although it gives such advantage, the intra-domain movement of a node especially the data source node affects the communication to the access point node which in the end affects the acceptance ratio of the client node that requests the data packets from the data source node. In this paper, we use time-division access method to maintain the acceptance ratio of the client node as the effect of the intra-domain data source node movement in Content-Centric Networking. The simulation result shows that the acceptance ratio of the client node can be maintained using the time-division access method as long as the interval access time is less than the coherence time.
Sensor nodes are used as a storage space in the data centric storage method for sensor networks. Sensor nodes save the data to the node which is computed by hash table and users also access to the node to get the data by using hash table. One of the problems which the data centric storage method has is that queries from many users who are interested in the popular data could be concentrated to one node. In this case, responses for queries could be delayed and the energy of heavy loaded node could be dissipated fast. This would lead to reduction of network life time. In this paper, ALT, Data Centric Storage based on Adaptive Local Trajectory, is proposed as scalable data centric storage method for sensor network. ALT constructs trajectory around the storage node. The scope of trajectory is increased or decreased based on the query frequency. ALT distributes the query processing loads to several nodes so that delay of response is reduced and energy dissipation is also distributed.
In this paper, new data centric storage that is dynamically adapted to the change of work load is proposed. The proposed data centric storage distributes the load of hot spot area by using multilevel grid technique. Also, the proposed method is able to use existing routing protocol such as GPSR (Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing) with small changes. Through simulation the proposed method enhances the lifetime of sensor networks over one of the state-of-the-art data centric storages. We implement the proposed method based on a operating system for sensor networks, and evaluate the performance through running based on a simulation tool.

Data centric storages for sensor networks have been proposed to efficiently process multi-dimensional range queries as well as exact matches. Usually, a sensor network does not process only one type of the query but supports various types of queries such as range queries, exact matches and skyline queries. Therefore, a sensor network based on a data centric storage for range queries and exact matches should process skyline queries efficiently. However, existing algorithms for skyline queries have not considered the features of data centric storages. Some of the data centric storages store similar data in sensor nodes that are placed on geographically similar locations. Consequently, all data are ordered in a sensor network. In this paper, we propose a new skyline query processing algorithm that exploits the above features of data centric storages.
