The Effects of Nurses' Perceived Internal Marketing on Job Performance and Loyalty (간호사가 지각하는 병원 내부마케팅이 직무수행 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted from December 26, 2018 to January 4, 2019 in order to analyze the effects of hospital internal marketing on job performance and loyalty based on nurses' perception. The participants were 250 nurses at general hospitals located in Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study are as follows: First, internal marketing in hospitals had a statistically significant effect on organizational and future vision, education and training systems, communication, organizational attributes, and job performance (F=29.118, p<.001). The training system, organizational and future vision, compensation and welfare system, and work management environment were found to have a statistically significant effect (F=38.671, p <.001) on loyalty, and the effect of job performance on loyalty was statistically significant (F=87.324, p<.001). Second, the relationship between hospital internal marketing based on nurses' perception and loyalty was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on stage 1 job performance (p<.001) and a statistically significant positive effect on stage 2 loyalty (+) (P <.001). The third-level internal marketing regression coefficient was significant, and job performance was also significant (P <.001). Based on these results, there is a need for hospital management to strengthen internal marketing in order to increase performance level and loyalty among nurses.

A Study on The Characteristics of Aesthetic Salon Operation and Job Satisfaction by Important Aspects in Launching Aesthetic Salon Business (샵 창업 시 중요사항에 따른 피부관리샵 운영 특성 및 직업만족도)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the characteristics of the aesthetic salon operation and job satisfaction according to important considerations in opening aesthetic salons as well as to provide basic data for improving the operation of the salons. Toward this aim, a questionnaire survey was conducted for owners of small aesthetic salons across South Korea from January-March, 2016. Results were as follows: Among those who identified means of transportation and parking convenience as key considerations in launching aesthetic salon businesses, length of service, length of business operation, monthly fixed revenue and proportion of the highest profit were highest. Job satisfaction (F=3.223, p<.05) was highest (M=4.11) among those that responded 'floating population' as a primary component in launching aesthetic salon businesses, and lowest among owners who mentioned 'cost of investment' (M=3.41). Specifically, job mobility (F=2.960, p<.05) was the highest among respondents who selected means of transportation and parking convenience (M=3.95) as key criteria in launching aesthetic salon business. For the stable operation of an aesthetic salon, a location with high floating population, good transportation, parking convenience, high levels of customer access, and job satisfaction are critical factors. In addition, future studies should examine marketing strategies by operating characteristics.

  • Current performance evaluation of call center employees is dependent on the number of calls they have resolved, regardless of the individual and social characteristics of employees. However, since call center tasks are highly customer-oriented and emotional laborious, individual capability as well as social characteristics of employees is critical to performance. Therefore, this study analyzed the relationship between employees' individual/social characteristics and their performance. To extract individual characteristics, a repertory grid technique was employed, whereas social network analysis was conducted to extract the social characteristics of employees. Using individual and social characteristics as input variables, multiple regression was conducted to analyze the effect of each variable on performance. As a result, in-degree centrality of dining network, initiative characteristics, open characteristics, and enjoyment of studying were determined to be important variables for performance. This study is expected to be used in both performance management and human resource management of call center practices.

Development of the auto leveling mechanism for side-by-side refrigerator doors (양문형 냉장고 도어의 자동 단차 맞춤 메커니즘 개발)

  • Recently the increasingly common large refrigerator is the side by side(SBS) refrigerator whose freezing chamber and refrigerating chamber are set side by side. But one of the biggest dissatisfaction of customers about SBS refrigerator is that the two doors don't meet the same height when they are closed. It is called door height difference(DHD). The main cause of DHD is the unevenness of floor on which a refrigerator is placed or the cabinet deformation caused by long time use. When the DHD is confirmed, the customer or maintenance personnel use wrench to adjust the support screw to make the refrigerator to reach the horizontal position. But for big refrigerator, it is not only difficult for women and old people who don't have enough force to adjust it, but also inappropriate to require customers to do this job. In order to resolve this problem, this research proposes a new mechanism which can detect the DHD and adjust two doors to the same height automatically. The adjustment would be completed during opening and closing the doors, avoid needing hard operation with wrench by hand.

  • Industry structure and environment of the domestic bank have been changed by an influx of large foreign-banks and advanced financial products when the currency crisis erupted in Korea. In a competitive environment, accurate forecasts of changes and tendencies are essential for the survival and development. Forecast of whether to approve loan applications for customer or not is an important matter because that is related to profit generation and risk management on the bank. Therefore, this paper proposes the method to improve forecast accuracy of loan underwriting. Processes in experiments are as follows. First, we select the predictor variables which affect significantly to the result of loan underwriting by correlation analysis and feature selection technique, and then cluster the customers by the 2-Step clustering technique based on selected variables. Second, we find the most accurate forecasting model for each clustering by applying LR, NN and SVM. Finally, we compare the forecasting accuracy of the proposed method with the forecasting accuracy of existing application way.

A Study on Factors for Adopting of RFID Application Technology (RFID 응용 기술의 도입에 미치는 영향 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) application technology is the core of ubiquitous technology. this research examines the factors for adopting the RFID application technology together with factors for adopting the related information system such as ERP, SCM, EDI by researching relevant literature. this research attempts to derive the factors for adopting RFID application technology by using the Delphi Method. The factors for adopting the information technology of the above-mentioned three areas totaled 116 adoption factors. Based on these 116 adoption factors, the factors for adopting RFID application technology were to be derived. A total of 27 adoption factors were derived in the first Delphi investigation. Of the total 27 adoption factors, final 9 adoption factors could be derived by conducting frequency analysis and relative importance analysis. In other words, 9 adoption factors that were derived last were found to be the cost related to tag, relationship with customer firms, compatibility of technology, information technology-based structure, trust and coordination between business firms, intensity of competition within the industry, the standardization of RFID technology, the top management's support and participation degree of client companies. When business firms try to adopt RFID application technology afterwards, concrete and close examination from this point of view was found to be necessary.

An effect of academic achievement for 'beautician(skin) education and training course' suggested by 'NCS' on profession and practice suitability ('NCS'의 '미용사(피부)교육훈련과정'이 '전문성' 및 '실무능력'에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study verified the effects of 'the education and training course for Aestheticians(Skin)' suggested by 'NCS', which is an outcome of the government's efforts to change from an 'educational background-centered society' to a 'capability-centered society' on the 'profession' and 'practice suitability' of actual aestheticians(skin) positively. As a result, three factors except for hygiene-related subjects and basic occupation capability had significant effects on the practical capability, and 4 factors except for the 'basic occupation ability' had significant effects on the 'profession' of skin beauticians. This suggests that people understand as a concept related to professionalism, even though hygiene-related subjects are associated with the customer's health, so it is very important. This means that awareness should be exchanged from practical capability, not professionalism, for hygiene-related subjects. In addition, the basic occupation capability is difficult to acquire for a short time and is organized by the capabilities, which are expected to have synergy effects when combined with professionalism knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare concrete measures to cultivate the basic occupation capability. When the government currently presents the 'NQF' establishment, it will be necessary to check the 'NCS' based on it. On the other hand, there has been no action of the academic world and government. In addition, the subjects related to common occupation capability, skin-related subjects and nail-related subjects are judged to cultivate manpower focusing on the capability, but hygiene-related subjects and basic occupation subjects are judged to seek a new direction to apply as a curriculum for cultivating manpower focusing on capability.

Dental health services patient satisfaction analysis (치과 내원환자의 의료서비스 만족도 분석)

  • This study evaluated dental health care providers to identify strategic management implications for providing improved dental health dental health care services to consumers. For this purpose, adental health care satisfaction survey was conducted on 1,156 patients (more than 20 years of age) at a dental clinic follow-up visit in a small-town dentist clinic Gyeongsangbuk-do province from August 1, 2013 to September 13, 2013. The dental health service value satisfaction in the gender and age (p<.05), monthly income (p<.001), dental health service quality satisfaction indentists according to gender (p<.05), education (p<.01), monthly income (p<.001), word-of-mouth effect of satisfaction job (p<.05), age and monthly income (p<.001) were investigated. Acorrelation was observed between the variables of the dental health services dental health services quality sub areas: certainty, reliability, and materiality. The interrelation between the dental health service showed the value of the variable(p<.000). The dental health services, routes elected, customer satisfaction with the dentist, reason for choosing a dentist, dental doctor reused and word-of-mouth effect of the satisfaction variable and the association with the volume(+) showed a correlation. The establishment new hospital management strategies can improve the quality of health care services to the patients and provide high-quality health care services.

  • This study examines the effects of social commerce service quality and the service provider's physical environment on customer loyalty based on trust and satisfaction. Study results are as follows: First, correlation analysis results for social commerce service quality and social commerce trust find that informativity and interactivity exert statistically significant effects on social commerce trust. Second, service provider's physical environment and service provider satisfaction correlation analysis results demonstrate cleanliness, ambience, and interactivity exert statistically significant effects on service provider satisfaction. Lastly, the correlation between social commerce trust, service provider satisfaction, and social commerce loyalty, was statistically significant. Results of this study are expected to provide general understanding of group purchase decisions in social commerce and to provide value input in strategy development for social commerce with respect to group purchase and service provider.

  • In the case of hydraulic pressure type fuse, we accept or reject certain product lots by considering the number of defective products in the operating pressure test. Generally, this procedure, known as 'The inspection by attributes', has been most commonly used in the field of quality assurance of products. However, the method of inspection by attributes suffers because it tests more samples than inspection by variables. Even though the quality of the products has remained stable in the process condition, the same number of samples is required for every lot, which wastes time and money. This paper suggests that the lot acceptance procedure is changed from inspection by attributes to inspection by variables. We can calculate the statistical tolerance percent of defectives and compare this to the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) in order to save money and time. It is also easier to monitor and control the quality of products by using the process capability index and x-bar charts. In conclusion, the procedure delivers mutual benefit to both the customer and the producer by securing high quality products and reference data.
