4차 산업 핵심기술 비교과 프로그램에 대한 여대생의 교육요구 분석 (An Analysis of the Educational Needs of Female University Students on the Informal Programs of Core Technology in the Fourth Industry)

  • The aim of this study was to establish an university informal program roadmap, and also to draw up operational plans for human resources with core technologies of the fourth industry. To do this, first we derived university informal education program draft through experts workshop, then conducted a survey regarding the female university students' perception of educational programs and their educational needs on the 4th core technology matching programs. The following main results were obtained : First, students preferred 'hands-on training' by professionals and they wanted to be trained during summer or winter holidays or the night time during semesters. Also, they thought two hours of training per session was appropriate. Regarding these results, there was no difference depending on the majors. Second, while students had highly preferred for the courses related to data analysis, Arduino programing and VR(virtual reality), those related to 3D printing modeling were less preferred. Depending on the majors, preferred courses had different priorities, but non-preferred courses were similar regardless of majors. Based on these results, the university informal curriculum model and the operation plans for the core technologies of the fourth industry were proposed.

  • With limited resources, proper allocation of the national R&D budget is very crucial matter for reinforcing the national competence, and the importance of selecting strategic R&D fields have been increasingly emphasized by technology policy-makers and CTOs. This paper deals with technology relevance/cluster analysis, which measures technological dependency and relevancy among technologies, and how it can be used for selecting the strategic R&D fields especially satisfying SMEs(small and medium enterprises)' specific needs. As a result of this study, technology-product tree composed of 7 major technology fields, 22 clusters, 41 groups, 335 core-need technologies and hundreds of related business items are produced that can be used for designing SMEs' R&D/business portfolio as well as R&D investment decision-making of the Ministry of Small and Medium Business Administration.

  • Further evolutions of technologies and needs of users will make mobile equipments improved. To make this happen, processor's good performance is essential. Hence, This paper propose a reform of Instruction Execute and Instruction Decode of contemporary ARMv7 which needs low-power and has the high performance for a faster processor. The first chapter explains why the performance of a processor has to be upgraded, the second chapter shows current technologies. The third chapter explains about the proposal and illustrates the structure. Finally, in the forth chapter, the conclusion will be made. 3-way Superscalar, that is proposed in this paper, will make designing a faster processor possible. And it will contribute for the advanced performance of mobile equipments.

Towards Elimination of Asbestos-Related Diseases: A Theoretical Basis for International Cooperation

  • We develop a theoretical framework for international cooperation that can be used for the elimination of asbestos-related diseases(ARDs). The framework is based on the similarities in the temporal patterns of asbestos use and occurrence of ARDs in diverse countries. The status of each nation can be characterized by observing asbestos use and ARD frequency therein using a time window. Countries that supply technology for prevention of ARDs can be classified as donors and countries that receive these technologies as recipients. We suggest identification of three levels of core preventative technologies. Development of a common platform to gather and manage core preventative technologies will combine the strengths of donor countries and the needs of recipient countries.

  • 세계 주요 선진국들은 4차 산업혁명의 흐름에 따라 국가연구개발 투자의 지속적인 확대와 성과 창출을 통해 국가과학기술 역량을 향상시키고 있다. 기술 융 복합화에 따른 급속한 기술발달로 인해 새로운 패러다임에 대한 선제적 대응이 필요하게 되면서, 국가 경쟁력에 영향을 미치는 첨단 과학기술의 확보의 중요성은 나날이 커지고 있다. 기존 주력산업의 고도화 및 신 산업의 성장 동력화 추진과 국가 경쟁력을 좌우할 핵심기술과 미래 신기술은 국가 혁신역량 고도화를 위한 하나의 척도라 할 수 있다. 특히, 안보환경 변화와 향후 미래전장에 대비하기 위한 핵심기술과 미래 신기술은 무기체계를 개발하는 국방 분야에서 매우 중요하다. 국방 분야에서는 군 소요 무기체계에 근거한 핵심기술들을 식별 도출해내고 있으며, 소요에 기반하지 않고 민간의 우수기술을 국방에 활용하는 창의 도전적인 미래 신기술 발굴에 힘을 쏟고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국방 지상무인체계의 핵심기술과 미래 신기술에 대한 특성을 알아보고 실증적인 분석을 통해 비교연구를 진행하여, 핵심기술과 미래 신기술 특성에 따른 전략적 기술기획과 연구개발이 필요하다는 결론을 도출하였다.

국산화를 위한 CBTC 핵심장치개발 연구 (Study for Developing Core Solution of CBTC localization)

  • Recently many new subway lines and light rail lines are demanded to build as CBTC system for advanced transportation needs. Already several lines are being installed and some other are planned this days. In early 2008, the first korean CBTC project, Bundang Line Intelligent Train Control System was finished successfully then it showed that many advantage of its functionalities to demonstrate. Nowaday, the technology of CBTC in Korea is not standing alone by itself yet, even though a lot of localization was done last decade include ATS (Automatic Train Supervision) and Radio Communication and manufactures and installations, because the core equipment of CBTC is rely on oversea technologies of major railway signal companies. KRRI has been preparing to develop the core equipment of CBTC (wayside ATP and onboard ATO/ATP) with other 14 local railway signal companies. Now they have consisted two consortiums to develop the core equipment by themselves. In this paper, I will mention about how we should focus on the output for viewpoint of interpretabilities between the two groups and review the case study of front developers efforts considering to standardizations we should be following.

특허정보의 NLP 분석을 통한 R&D 계획수립 방안 연구: 디스플레이 기술 분석을 중심으로 (Research on R&D Planning Through NLP Analysis of Patent Information: Focusing on Display Technology)

  • Patent information describes the history of technological progress in the relevant field, so it can be usefully used to identify trends in technological development and change and to establish R&D development strategies. This study proposes a method to identify the needs and problems of technology development at the planning stage of the R&D process and to analyze core technologies through patent analysis using Natural Language Processing(NLP) technology. As a big data source, collected patent documents registered in Google Patents for foldable technology, the latest technology in the display industry, and then extracted keywords using NLP analyzer. By classifying the extracted keywords into needs and problems for technology development, developed technology and materials, identified the needs of the market and customers and analyzed the technologies being researched and developed. Unlike previous studies that performed patent analysis, this methodology is different in that it can quickly and conveniently analyze the latest technology trends from big data called patents even if you do not have specialized knowledge and skills in the text mining. This study contributes to the digitalization of the R&D process based on data analysis.

A Study on the Global Competitiveness and Way of Coexistence of Korean ICT Industries

  • Infinite competition on ICT industries is starting again. The basis of competence over global dominance will be human resource, a global ecosystem for products and national agenda for science and technology, etc.. This paper presents the six solution for the Global Competitiveness and Coexistence of Korean ICT Industries. Korea should nurture the brand of "World Best Korean ICT Forever" to secure technical competency of ICT related fields in global market. All ICT technologies should be aligned to global standard and market demand from beginning and the ecosystem around product needs to be established. System framework for utilizing the resource of core SW experts must be established. Through global partnership with China as manufacturing base for Korea-developed products, technical competency can be maintained including product planning. Security measure for technical assets is mandatory. Finally, core technology that will drive the future of ICT industries in Korea should be regarded as core subjects.

Technology Planning-Based Management for the Dissemination of R&D Outcome of Government Supported Research Institutes

  • This study deals with technology planning-based management for Basic R&D Programs of government supported research institutes (GRIs). The Korean Research Council for Industrial Science and Technology which consists of major GRIs needs to implement new government policies which focus on the dissemination of R&D outcome, collaborative research, and performance-oriented R&D investment. The major characteristics of technology planning-based management include the hierarchy of market-oriented technology plans and the valuation of core technologies. We also suggest technology classifications and project network diagrams.
