  • The paper introduces a modified subgradient extragradient method for solving equilibrium problems involving pseudomonotone and Lipschitz-type bifunctions in Hilbert spaces. Theorem of weak convergence is established under suitable conditions. Several experiments are implemented to illustrate the numerical behavior of the new algorithm and compare it with a well known extragradient method.

  • The reactor impedance is calculated for a planar-type cylindrical inductively coupled plasma source by expanding the electromagnetic fields into their Fourier-Bessel series forms including the three-dimensional shape of the antenna. The mode excitation method is utilized to determine the electromagnetic fields based on a Poynting theorem-like relationship. From the obtained electromagnetic fields, a tractable form of the reactor impedance is obtained as a function of various plasma and geometrical parameters and applied to carry out a parametric study.

  • In this paper, we introduce an iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed points of an asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space. We show that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of the two sets.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of strongly nonlinear variational-like inequalities. Under suitable conditions, we prove the existence of solutions for the class of strongly nonlinear variational- like inequalities. By making use of the auxiliary principle technique, we suggest an iterative algorithm for the strongly nonlinear variational-like inequality and give the convergence criteria of the sequences generated by the iterative algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose a design method of PID controller using an improved Tabu Search. Tabu Search is improved by neighbor solution creation using Gaussian random distribution and generalized Hermite Biehler Theorem for stable bounds. The range of admissible proportional gains are determined first in closed form. Next the optimal PID gains are selected by improved Tabu Search. The results of Computer simulations represent that the proposed Tabu Search algorithm shows a fast convergence speed and a good control performance.

  • In recently, Popova and Wu(1999) proved a theorem which presents the long-run average fuzzy reward per unit time. In this note, we improve this result. Indeed we will show uniform convergence of a renewal reward processes with respect to the level ${\alpha}$ modeled as a fuzzy random variables.

  • The paper is devoted to problem of spline modeling of multidimensional signals. A new method of nodes location for curves and surfaces computer construction in multidimensional spaces by means of B-splines is presented. The criteria are which links a square-mean error caused by high frequency spline distortions and approximation intervals is determined and necessary theorem is proved. In this method use a theory of entire multidimensional spectra and may be extended for the spaces of three, four and more variables.

  • Feynman's operational calculus for noncommuting operators was studied via measures on the time interval. We investigate that if a sequence of p-tuples of measures converges to another p-tuple of measures, then the corresponding sequence of operational calculi in the time dependent setting converges to the operational calculus determined by the limiting p-tuple of measures.

  • In this paper, we study a new iterative method for solving mixed equilibrium problem and a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in the framework of reflexive real Banach spaces. Moreover, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding common fixed points which also are solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem.
