National Defense & IT Convergence is ensuring actual force integration by developing new IT Convergence Technology for the purpose of realizing the concept of Network Centric Warfare. The Ministry of Defense has appointed National Defense & IT Convergence Center of Defense Agency for Technology and Quality as a specialized agency for the National Defense & IT Convergence development, a mission in the creative economy era and has been active in military demand inquiry and prior technology plan with the industrial-academic research institute for discovery of National Defense IT Convergence projects based on the Convergence Center. Further, it is promoting focused on the timely introduction of private IT new technology by operating the project planning team comprised of defense domain specialists and by applying the advanced planning method etc. Accordingly, for the development of National Defense & IT convergence, developmental strategy is urgently required to be utilized effectively after considering theoretically on the national IT Convergence policy enforcement and phenomenon of National Defense & IT Convergence technology and analyzing them comprehensively. This thesis promotes in phases the IT Convergence projects which are identified for the development, improves the efficiency of newly created National Defense & IT Convergence center and suggests training program of IT Convergence personnel related to the defense reforms. With such, it will achieve smart defense in advance and will also contribute largely for the realization of the immediate paradigm shift and of the creative economy.

Condition and properties of composites with different chemical structure of epoxy matrix were observed after saline solution treatment. Epoxy was used as matrix and the flexibility was controlled by using 2 typed-epoxies and 3 types hardeners (amine, acid anhydride and amide). Saline water treatment was conducted with 6 wt% NaCl solution at $60^{\circ}C$ for 0, 15, and 30 days. Cross section was observed and interfacial and mechanical and properties was evaluated. Amine type exhibited the highest crosslinking density and mechanical and interfacial properties whereas water absorbance was lowest. It is because that the water molecules can be hardly penetrate into the epoxy matrix or the interface between epoxy and glass fiber and it leads to saline water resistance of composites.

Convergence refers to create a new one by combining the different elements of two or more. Currently convergence has expanded academy, industry and education from the concept of combining heterogeneous inter-technology. The most important key to the convergence in success is to derive ideas for problem solving. However, the idea derivation is done in companies to hire professional people for letting the innovation of corporate planning and new product in most cases. It is hard to get the expected results of convergence's variety. In this research, the creation of the general public for their ideas is main focus on developing a curriculum. Development models are: 1) strengthening the internal capacity for creative thinking, 2) curriculum meets the consumer 3) an understanding of convergence technology 4) creative ideas and planning ability is composed of four concepts. It is expected that convergence man power having the creative idea is trained in case of applying the proposed education model to the convergence education.

Today, the term of fusion, such as technology convergence and industrial convergence, is emerging as one of the most important trends in our society. The purpose of this study is to analyze the convergence coefficient of each industry using patent data and to analyze the convergence phenomenon in industry based on convergence coefficient. To do this, 2011-2015 Korean patent data were utilized. The research findings revealed that the ICC by industry was the highest in order of man-made fibres, paints/varnishes, petroleum products/nuclear fuel and other chemicals. Also, according to the inter-industry convergence matrix, the number of convergence patents was the greatest in order of office machinery and computers, special purpose machinery industries and Measuring instruments. Added same analysis was conducted through Industry with high number of patents. As a result, the convergence has been actively carried out in the fields of optical instruments, Basic chemical, Fabricated metal products, Measuring instruments and special purpose machine manufacturing industries.

Life competencies most required for university students, who receive a higher education and prepare to go into society, are job competencies. People with a variety of competencies are needed in the job market in a globally-oriented 21st-Century knowledge-based society. Now that raising competent people who have a high level of job competency is regarded as one of university functions, a way to improve job competencies through university education needs to be investigated. This study proposes a convergence education system to improve job competencies. The convergence education system includes five type of convergence: convergence in major fields of study, convergence in education courses, convergence in education space, convergence in education methods, and convergence in education period. This education system is expected to improve a variety of job competencies including cognitive competencies, non-cognitive competencies, and global competencies.

The purpose of this study is to propose a strategy to educate the core contents of various major fields in practical and convergent ways in universities in order to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution era. First, convergence field is established in the university curriculum in addition to the existing major and the liberal arts field. Second, convergence courses are created in connection with job ability, which are major curriculum but only for students in other departments. Third, convergence courses are organized in the form of module curriculum, which is a small-sized and independent curriculum consisting of 4 courses. D University, one of the local private universities in Korea, has provided such convergence module education since 2016, and satisfactory results have been obtained in the course enrollment rate and the course evaluation, etc. By combining these convergence modules in various ways, it is possible to easily create customized majors required and designed by local companies at low cost.

Purpose With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution era, ICT convergence industry is leading the wave of new change. These changes in the industrial field are recognizing convergence as a strategic cooperation tool of management for creating new value. In order to achieve the research purpose, conceptual understanding of ICT convergence is summarized by focusing on concepts, features, types and cases. In addition, this study established the theoretical rationale for the determinants of ICT convergence performance, and examined previous researches related to ICT convergence. Design/methodology/approach The empirical research method is based on a survey of 510 companies including managers and mid-level practitioners who understand the contents of the relevant field, 305 data were used for analysis. We conducted exploratory factor analysis to verify the grouping of these questionnaire items and conducted confirmatory factor analysis to analyze the validity and reliability of the measurement model. Through the statistical analysis, we analyzed the structural relationship of ICT firms' competencies for convergence performance. Findings Linkage of ICT strategies established by corporations is an important factor for enhancing resource capacity and convergence ability. It is important to ensure that product innovation, consumer-oriented strategies, and ICT strategies for the implementation of business strategies are closely linked. In addition, in the convergence environment, companies should make efforts to develop convergence ability and improve organizational performance through utilization of ICT resources. From the CEO's perspective, it is necessary to understand the knowledge, technology and resources arising from the convergence environment, and to integrate with the resources possessed by the enterprise to induce the organization's performance.

The purpose of this study was to develop a test tool for convergence problem solving skill. To this end, constructs of convergence problem solving skill were defined in three domains: convergence attributes, convergence thinking, and convergence literacy domains. Thirty-seven pilot items were developed on the basis of the sub-categories for each domain that was defined through intensive literature review; problem solving & convergent thinking and creative thinking for convergence thinking domain, individual and social propensity for the convergence attributes domain, and convergence literacy as convergence literacy domain. Through an exploratory factor analysis, 30 items in the constructs of the test tool were confirmed. A confirmatory factor analysis result showed that the five construct models well captured the covariance between all the items well. Finally a statistical result shows that the reliability of the items and constructs were well established (Cronbach's α value= .963). Thus, the test tool for convergence problem solving skill developed in this study was statistically reliable.

(La_0.5Nd_0.2Sr_0.3)MnO₃ specimens were prepared by a solid-state reaction. In all specimens, X-ray diffraction patterns of an orthorhombic structure were shown. The fracture surfaces of (La_0.5Nd_0.2Sr_0.3)MnO₃ specimens showed a transgranular fracture pattern be possibly due to La ions (0.122 nm) as a perovskite A-site dopant substituting for Nd ions (0.115 nm) having a small ionic radius. The full-width at half maximum (FWHM) of the Mn 2p XPS spectra showed a value greater than that [8] of the single valence state, which is believed to be due to the overlapping of Mn²⁺, Mn³⁺, and Mn⁴⁺ ions. The dependence of Mn 2p spectra on the Mn³⁺/Mn⁴⁺ ratio according to sintering time was not observed. Electrical resistivity resulted in the minimum value of 100.7 Ω-cm for the specimen sintered for 9 hours. All specimens show a typical negative temperature coefficient of resistance (NTCR) characteristics. In the 9-hour sintered specimen, TCR, activation energy, and B25/65-value were -1.24%/℃, 0.19 eV, and 2,445 K, respectively.
