The purpose of this study is to clearly understand the Korean consumer's socially responsible consumption attitude and disposition behavior through revealing by use Fishbein's Multi-Attributes Model as a conceptual frame, the relationship between the socially responsible clothing consumption attitude factors and disposition behavior pattern, and relations of demographic variables. Data were collected from the adult females residing in Seoul. Judgment Sampling were. performed twice during March of 1996 and total 549 sets of answers were used for final analysis. The result are following. First, by looking at the relationship between intrinsic side of socially responsible consumption attitude and disposition behavior, the attitude shows more economical disposition when consumers are in considerate about preservation of natural resources and clothing consumption and when consumers favor purchasing a second hand product, On the other hand, consumers' behavior shows more altruistic disposition, when they favor recycling and acquisition of second hand clothing and when not favor fashion. The result of analysis of relationship between the socially responsible clothing consumption attitude and demographic variables shows that income, age and education level relates to some intrinsic side of socially responsible clothing consumption attitude. Drum washer consumers hold larger capacity washer than pulsator washer consumers. 2) Young people(under 40) showed statistically significant differences in terms of washing concern and the kinds of detergents, while old people(40 and above) showed statistically significant differences in terms of checking the label, preparing the laundry, and hand-washing. Married women showed statistically significant differences in checking the label, preparing the laundry, and hand-washing. 3) In terms of clothing management behavior with the type of washing machine, drum washer consumers showed statistically significant the amount of detergents, while pulsator washer consumers showed statistically significant handwashing and kinds of detergents. 4) In terms of customer satisfaction with the type of washing machine, drum washer consumers showed statistically significant brand satisfaction.
This paper takes the factors influencing consumers' purchase of organic agricultural products before and after the COVID-19 epidemic as the starting point, decomposes Chinese consumers' purchase behavior of organic agricultural products into questionnaire surveys before and after the COVID-19 epidemic with the help of the theory of planned behavior, and builds structural equation regression models to compare and analyze them respectively. The study investigates whether this change has any impact on consumers' purchasing behavior of organic agricultural products, and proposes rationalized countermeasures from different perspectives based on the results of the study. To this end, this study collected 219 valid questionnaires by combing through domestic and international literature and referring to scholars' mature scales for measurement. The results showed that consumers' attitudes, subjective norms and perceptual behavioral control of organic agricultural products before and after the COVID-19 epidemic had a significant positive effect on consumers' willingness to purchase; however, it can be seen that the intervention of the COVID-19 epidemic event has significantly improved consumers' attitudes, subjective norms and perceptual behavioral control of organic agricultural products.
This study investigated the uncertainty, regret experience, and negative behavior intention of fashion consumers according to the types of internet shopping malls. The data was obtained from internet fashion consumers, and 394 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis. As results, the uncertainty of internet fashion consumers was composed of two factors; information uncertainty and preference uncertainty. The regret experience was composed of function or service regret, suitability regret, and product regret. Also, the negative behavior intention was composed of purchase switching intention and purchase deferral intention. The information uncertainty of fashion consumers positively affected the negative behavior intention in all types of internet shopping malls (e.g., open market, integrated shopping mall, and fashion specialized shopping mall). In open market, the preference uncertainty negatively affected the purchase switching intention; however, the preference uncertainty positively affected the purchase deferral intention. In open market and fashion specialized shopping mall, the product regret of internet fashion consumers positively affected the negative behavior intention. In addition, there were partially significant differences in the factors of uncertainty, regret experience, and negative behavior intention by gender and marital status of demographic characteristics. The results of this study will provide useful information to the marketing strategies considering fashion consumer's negative emotion and behaviors according to the types of internet shopping malls.
As many companies are performing brand management as a marketing strategy to establish long-term relationships with their customers, consumers decide the actual purchasing behavior by understanding the brand attributes of the relevant company based on an evaluation standard of the products. This paper provides the basic data for improving the competitiveness of the coffee shop market continuously, and analyzes the influential relationships between each variable by limiting the brand attributes of the coffee shop and the price fairness factor that would be expected to affect the consumers' purchasing behavior as the cause variables. The results showed that the-out of brand attribute factors of the coffee shop, the brand awareness and perceived quality had significant effects on the price fairness while the influence of the shop image on the price fairness was not verified. In addition, all the brand awareness, shop image, and perceived quality had significant effects on the purchasing behavior while the statistical significance between price fairness and purchasing behavior was verified. The rationality of the price presented by the coffee shop could be judged depending on the quality perceived by the consumers. Similarly, once consumers classified the propriety of price and then perceived that a suitable price had been set up regarding the quality and service provided by the coffee shop, it was highly possible for them to include it in their actual purchasing behavior, despite the higher price than other brands'. Further research on the psychological variables affecting the purchasing behavior by securing more diverse consumers to understand their purchasing behavior for a wide range of research subjects and the generalization of research results, will provide useful data for establishing marketing measures necessary to form strong relationships between consumers and brand in the currently-saturated coffee shop market.
This study investigated consumers' energy saving behavior and perceptions concerning the effectiveness of their energy saving behavior. A nation wide survey was conducted involving 2000 households in urban areas and the data from 1767 households were used for the analysis. excluding cases with incomplete responses. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were applied. The results were as follows. First, electricity saving behavior was classified into three categories: Thrift (reducing energy consumption), Purchase (buying energy saving appliances), and Control (checking the energy consumption). Second, consumers rated Thrift as the best way to save energy. Third, education, age, and household income were significantly related to energy saving behavior and perceptions on the effectiveness of energy saving behavior. Consumers using above average levels of electricity tended not to practice energy saving behavior and not to positively evaluate effectiveness of the energy saving behavior. Lastly, the implications for public policies to promote energy saving behavior are suggested.
This purpose of this study was to analyze the variables associated with the ethical consumption behavior of children consumers. This subjects were 431 elementary school students. PASW 18.0 was used for data processing to do frequency analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, children consumers tend to a little higher everyday ethical consumption behavior than others-oriented ethical consumption behavior. Second, as a result of analyzing ethical consumption behavior according to social economic variables, a high tendency of ethical consumption behavior was shown in groups that personality is extrovert and their household economic status is over upper middle class and father's age is higher. Third, the variables affecting ethical consumption behavior of children consumers were self-regulation ability, materialism, altruism, personality tendency, household economic status.
