  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of service quality of apparel stores, evaluative criteria and clothing involvement on the consumer satisfaction. Data were collected from 481 women consumers living in Busan and analysed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's , cluster analysis, t-test and discriminant analysis. The results showed that consumers who highly involved symbolism of apparel were more influenced by salesperson service and store atmosphere, and were more effected by prestige/brand royalty of apparel than those who highly involved pleasure of apparel. Those who had high scores in symbolism involvement were more satisfied with consumer satisfaction in apparel buying behaviors than those who highly involved pleasure of apparel. • This study aims to examine the forming procedure of consumer satisfaction from Internet shopping experience. Many studies on the satisfaction have primarily focused on the examination of the antecedents of satisfaction along with the expectation-disconfirmation paradigm dominating the former studies. This study has built an Internet shopping expectation-disconfirmation model as to apply the expectation-disconfirmation into the condition of the Internet shopping. The summary of study represented in following. l. The expectation of risk and performance of benefit had a significantly positive effect on the perceived disconfirmation. In addition, an expectation of benefit and performance of risk had a significantly negative effect on the perceived disconfirmation. 2. A performance of risk and performance of benefit not only had a significantly indirect effect, but also a significantly direct effect on the consumer satisfaction. But expectation of risk and expectation of benefit had no significant direct effect on satisfaction. 3. Not only the perceived disconfirmation had a significant positive effect on satisfaction, but also an effect of the perceived disconfirmation on satisfaction(0.472) is larger than that of the performance of risk or performance of benefit. Meaning that, it is desirable for one to apply the expectation-disconfirmation model into the Internet shopping circumstances as much as the off-line markets.

  • This study focuses on influential relationships for consumer's cognition about sponsorship, consumer-brand relationship, brand equity, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. To accomplish it, a questionnaire survey (answered by 600 males and females over the age of 20) was conducted by an Internet Research Company from October $5^{th}$ to $20^{th}$ in 2011. The results of the analysis were: First, consumer's cognition about sponsorship consisted of sponsorship interest, sponsorship importance, sponsor-sponsorship suitability, and sponsorship expectation. Consumer-brand relation consisted of personal attachment, trustful relationships and commitment relationships. Brand equity for golf wear consisted of three factors (brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality). Customer satisfaction and customer loyalty consisted of one factor. Second, the commitment relationship was influenced by sponsor-sponsorship suitability, sponsorship interest, sponsorship importance and sponsorship expectation. However, personal attachment was influenced by only sponsorship interest and sponsorship expectations. The trustful relationship was influenced by all factors of consumer cognition, except sponsorship interest. Customer loyalty was influenced by consumer's cognition about sponsorship, consumer-brand relationship, brand equity and customer satisfaction. The leverage of consumer-brand relationship and consumer's cognition for sponsorship was notably larger than others.

  • This study investigates the effect of consumer involvement in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty (which is measured as consumers' repurchase and WOM intentions). Previous research has presented inconsistent implications on the role of consumer involvement in the relationship. Some researchers have presented the empirical results showing that consumer involvement moderates the relationship, whereas others have done the empirical results implying that the consumer involvement does not moderates. In sum, the previous empirical studies have provided the inconsistent empirical results that consumer involvement may be a moderator or a non-moderator in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. Thus, we start this research with two research questions: "Does consumer involvement has a moderation effect on the relationship between-customer satisfaction and loyalty across various service industries?" and "Can the moderation effect of consumer involvement be detected differently depending on the statistical methods used to probe the moderation effect?" A questionnaire survey was conducted in the context of four service categories: eight service firms for fast food, four firms for family restaurant, four firms for movie theater and four firms for Bakery. Hierarchical regression analyses (moderated regression analyses) and chi-square difference tests were used to identify the role of consumer involvement in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. The empirical results show that there does not exist the difference in the moderation effects of consumer involvement identified by the two statistical methods (i.e., hierarchical regression analyses vs. chi-square difference tests), however, that there exists the difference in the identified moderation effects of consumer across service categories. In the final section, we summarize the implications and re-interpret the empirical results provided in the previous studies.

  • This thesis will study the determinants of consumer satisfaction based on the disconfirmation theory. The proposed questions are first, to find out if desire and expectation are conceptually distinct. Second, to study the effects of desire, expectation, perceived performance, desire congruency, and expectation congruency on clothing satisfaction. The data used in this thesis were obtained from a two stage longitudinal survey. SPSS WIN 8.0 was used for the analysis and the following method such as mean, correlation, t-test, hierarchical regression were applied. The results indicate that first, according to the correlation analysis and crosstab analysis, satisfaction and desire were perceived as two different concepts. Second, using the hierarchical regression analysis to compare the effects of determinants of consumer satisfaction, the model of desire, expectation, performance, desires congruency, expectations congruency best explain the clothing satisfaction. Among them, effects of performance had the strongest impact. Expectation did not influence satisfaction but desire did.

  • The evaluation items to assess the consumer needs are thought to be varied depending on their age, education and income. It should be noted that consumer needs are getting too diversified to notice them in time due to the rapid economic, social and cultural development. It is, therefore, considered improper to try to assess the level of consumer satisfaction and correct consumer needs by employing one evaluation method for the vastly diversified consumer types. This research is going to conduct a written questionnaire survey to the apartment dwellers in order to identify like dweller groups according to their age, income and education. Then the scope of personal characteristics of each group will be identified and the importance assessment model will be developed. Then the items on the POE will be weighted according to the assessed importance. Finally a method of developing the customer satisfaction index will be produced to quantify how much the consumers are satisfied with the project.

And consumer satisfaction and health care utilization showed differenced in work force and budget. The regression model with total number of employee, number of registered nurses, number of doctors and budget against consumer satisfaction was statistically significant (F=14.70, p=<.001), and number of registered nurses was identified as a factor influencing consumer satisfaction. This model also explained 20.5% of service satisfaction. The regression model for consumer satisfaction was statistically significant (F=45.98, p=<.001), and total number of employee nurses was identified as a factor influencing health care utilization.
