This study is to respond to the urgent demands of both society and times on public schools in regards to training an educated person who can cope with the financial environment of this diversified modern society. Therefore, this study will explain the concept of Financial Consumer Education and its trends of several other countries. By focusing on the current state of Korean Financial Consumer Education, it will call attention to the needs of introducing Financial Consumer Education to the school curriculum in order to educate students about finance systematically. To support our viewpoint, this paper analyzed and organized the materials concerning Financial Consumer Education in two curricula (2007 and 2011 Revised National Curriculum), and in a Practical Arts (Technology Home Economics) textbook of the 2007 revised version. Hence, the purpose of this study is to explore the desired direction and revitalization of Financial Consumer Education by analyzing the existing curricula. Even though the content of finance education begun from one of the subcategories of consumer education called 'Financial Management,'the number of research about financial education through public education has been increased in response to the social and academic consensus. Therefore, we suggest the re-conceptualization of consumer education for financial education is necessary. Therefore, this paper suggests that Financial Consumer education in a Practical Arts (Technology Home Economics) should not be regarded as only one of the components of Consumer Education. Instead, by raising it to the status of Financial Customer Education, it is required to teach the learners to improve their personal financial management skill as well as to help them achieve financial knowledge, skill, and attitude as financial consumer.
The purpose of this study is to examine the consumer competency of women in their 20-40s after consumer competency is classified into consumer knowledge, consumer attitude and consumer skill. Since these components can show differences based on the areas of consumption life, the areas of consumer competency are classified into financial management areas, trading areas and consumer citizenship areas. The differences in consumer competency based on marital status and the differences in variables affecting consumer competency by marital status are identified. The types of consumers are classified and characterized based on consumer competency and marital status. This sentence can immediately follow the previous one rather than start a new paragraph. The same goes for the other sentences below. First, the female consumer competency levels of the married group were generally higher than those of the single group. Second, consumer knowledge and consumer competency in financial management areas showed significant interaction effects between the marital status and employment status of demographic variables. Third, there were differences in factors affecting significant differences in consumer knowledge, consumer attitude, consumer skill and over all consumer competencies between the unmarried and married groups.
The importance of finance in our society is truly absolute, and the of financial consumers who cope with the financial environment is becoming. Recently, many authorities in Korea to perceive the absence of serious economic or financial consumer education in order to find a fundamental solution for such a phenomenon, there is a growing need to introduce financial consumer education. This study aims to review the comprehension power of finance among consumers are college students in this society the importance of finance is becoming greater, and to a way promote financial consumer education by analyzing the demand level for The main results obtained from the include the following. First, as a result of reviewing the characteristics of respondents, their average age was 21.8 years old, and on average they each had 4.16 credit cards. Most of them had no experience of receiving financial consumer education in their teenage years, and their interest level in investment was shown to be above average. Second, as a result of reviewing their comprehension power of finance, it was shown to be 64.10 points on average their comprehension of the income area was the highest, their comprehension money management was shown to be the lowest. Third, as a result of reviewing the perception level of the provision of financial consumer education, it was shown to be very low the perception level of on-line and off-line financial consumer education provided by the YMCA was shown to be the highest. Fourth, as a result of reviewing the level financial consumer education, it was shown to be very high. For the level for institutions financial consumer education, financial institutions the highest. For the level for the method of financial consumer education, respondents chose practical experience the most and education books the least. For the intention of participating in financial consumer education, most respondents that they would participate, and most of them answered that the starting period should be the teenage years and childhood Therefore, as a result, most university student's consumers have concerned on financial education and financial inportance, it need to educate for the university student's consumers, and it need to develop technical tools and contents for ficancial education.

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether information on financial service accounts have fully offered over internet, which information consumers needed in buying financial service accounts and whether consumer have satisfied with offered information Through this, to enhance the efficiency of financial information offered to consumer over internet and to explore the consumer demanding information model by finding the problems of offering financial information. The specific purpose of this study me following; 1. to investigate the actual situation which consumers behaviour of information providing and choosing about financial accounts items on internet. 2. to analyze the relationship between the level of consumer information need about financial information and rotated variables. 3. to analyze the relationship between the level of consumer information satisfaction about financial information over internet and related variables. 4. to analyze the new information financial service and contents. 5. to analyze the informatic information and financial service accounts.
This study is to examine the factors affecting success of business withhigh accomplishments in customer recognition and financial aspect in the fashion industry. In addition, through survey on consumers and interviews on industry officials who concerned fashion brand, perceived success factors were compared between consumer and industry groups. This study selected a total of 20 brands, which were 5 brands per 4 categories(e.g., women, men, sports and casual wear), with high customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in consumer's perspective and high revenues, revenue growth, and profit rate in 2004 in a financial perspective. The survey on consumer group and interviews on officials in industry were conducted simultaneously. One thousand respondents were obtained from survey on consumers and 40 respondents were obtained from interviews on industry officials. Multiple regression analysis and t-test were used for data analysis via the SPSS 12.0 program. The result of this study was as following. From a consumer perspective, respondents recognized that both consumer satisfaction and brand revenues were positively related to brand factors of consumer, product and marketing. From an industry's perspective, consumer, product and marketing factors affected consumer satisfaction as a brand success factor. In comparison of perception difference in brand success factors between consumer and industry groups, industry group was more likely to concern about the importance of brand success than consumers. In addition, the consumer group perceived the most highly consumer factor as a brand success factor, followed by product and marketing and external environment factors, while industry group did in order of consumer, marketing, product, and external environment factors, which indicated significant difference in perceptions of the two groups. Through this study on consumer satisfaction to improve positive and amicable buying behavior and comparative analysis on difference of perception of consumers and industry on factorsfor financial ability and revenue increase, the foundation for strategy establishment of brand distinction in fashion industry can be provided.
The objective of this study is to analyse consumption problems of the rural poor households. This is a succeeding work to the previous report on economic resource problems. Data from 154 rural poor house holds and 290 rural non-poor households were analysed to comprehend their consumption practices, financial management ability, consumer competence of homemakers, and market environments. The major findings and conclusions are as follows : 1. The rural poor households had deficit of 30, 000 won per month. They perceived relative importance of the educational expenses and food expenses and heavier pressure of educational expenses and light and water expenses than other items. 2. The rural poor households evaluated their financial management ability average like non-poor households but their level of consumer competence was lower than other households. This means their consumer efficiency is relatively low. 3. The rural poor households had similar grade of market environments to non-poor households. This is significantly different from urban households.
The purpose of this study were to develop a financial management educational program for college students and to evaluate the effect of this program. In order to achieve this aims, a fundamental work to select the educational contents was preceded with a survey of learners' needs, preceding studies. After choice of educational contents, learners' demands on how to manage the educational program was executed in advance. The participants in this study were 500 students, resulting in 460 with usable data. Second, reflection the above mentioned educational contents, a concrete financial management educational program was built. This program consists of 9 domains: financial planning, careers and income, consumer spending, credit use and Credit cards, Managing Taxes, investment planning, risk management and insurance, retirement and estate planning, contribution. The participants for this program implementation were 68 students. Third, to evaluate the effects of the financial management educational program, paired t-test was conducted in using the SPSS package. The result suggested that financial management educational program has a positive effect on financial knowledge, financial attitude and financial management behavior. Several implications based on the findings were suggested.

Modern financial services go beyond the stage of internet banking, and new concepts of financial transactions such as Internet of Things, mobile banking, electronic payments, and fintech have emerged. The bank office stands for the brand image of the bank, and it is represented by trust with customers in the basic business of financial transactions, and the rise in real estate value is a natural social phenomenon due to the nature of the location and location of real estate owned by the bank. The business method and space of the bank office that meets the new paradigm of the modern society is an inefficient space only for the convenience and rest of consumers, but it must be used as a variety of spaces suitable for the region to increase the functional value of the bank office. The purpose of this study is to derive implications for Korean home economics curriculum to emphasize consumer competency of adolescents by analyzing the content components of consumer competency presented in 'consumer life' area of middle school home economics curriculum of 3 states in the U.S. The analysis results and implications are summarized as follows: First, the U.S. home economics curriculum is composed of various contents, including credit management, savings/investment/ insurance, taxes, and financial situation, and financial decision-making, to improve adolescent's understanding of finance. In the next revision of Korean curriculum, for financial stability in prolonged life after retirement, it is would be necessary to include contents on basic financial knowledge and technology for financial information utilization so that students can establish financial plans for different life stages in consideration of various variables such as changes in economic environment, etc. Second, the U.S. home economics curriculum was developed to help students make better purchase decisions by applying economic concepts such as prices and interest rates, economic trends and the impact of demand and supply, purchase methods and contract conditions, etc. However, Korean home economics curriculum only focus on purchase plan and purchase decision-making process. It would be necessary to foster consumer transaction competency by introducing economic concepts suitable middle school level. Third, to emphasize "consumer civic competency", Ohio was focusing on "claim of consumer rights" and Wisconsin was focusing on the "acceptance of consumer responsibility." In order to enhance adolescent's consumer civic competency, it would be necessary for Korean curriculum to balance the claim of right and the acceptance of consumer responsibility in the following term, and to emphasize the contents on consumer policies, laws and consumer advocacy to create a consumer environment where consumer sovereignty is realized.
Consumer Education Policy for -Focusing on developing Social support System- The purpose of this research is to understand the change of future consuming environment and the characteristics of future potential consumer: the net generations. With those research results, we deduced our goal, content and method of consumer education for these net generations. Finally, I suggested a scheme of the social construction by demand of our future society. Literature review and depth interview are used for this research. The main factors of the change of our future consuming environment are Digitalization, globalization, improvement of consumer sovereignty, Sustainable consumption culture, the increasing pursuit of safe life. It is necessary to educate our future consumer, net generations, the information searching skills in order to be able to obtain right information. We also need to educate them how to practice the safe life and Sustainable consumption and how to get consumers sovereignty. The method of the education requires interchangeable communication. We need social networking system for the support of consumer education, in order to build this social system. We need an administrative support from the government and financial support from corporations. We have suggested that it is very desirable to share all the information developed among Academic field, Consumer related organizations and schools by this network be build.
