Previous research on online health (e-health) information was primarily focused on consumer information search behavior and information quality. Although studies addressing online information quality have flourished, they have yet to thoroughly examine whether consumers actually use the information they search. The purspose of this study suggests a conceptual framework that examines the potential antecedents of a consumers' willingness to depend on e-health information as an indicator of the consumer's trust of the provided e-health information. The proposed antecedents include healthcare product involvement, online skill level, perceived quality, and credibility of the source. Using structural equation modeling on online survey data, seven hypotheses, which describe the relationships between the variables of the model, were tested. The results indicate that consumer willingness to depend on provided e-health information was significantly influenced by the consumers' perceived quality and credibility of specific e-health information. Consumer involvement in healthcare and their online skill-level, respectively, also positively related to perceived quality and credibility regarding e-health information.
The purposes of this study were to define housewife's risk perception and risk reduction behavior when purchasing children's wear, and to identify the differences according to the clothing buying behavior and demographic characteristics. Data were gathered through survey with 429 housewives in Seoul and metropolitan area, and then statistically analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Duncan's test, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results showed partially significant differences in risk perception, especially economic risk and social psychological risks, among housewife consumer groups according to the clothing buying behavior and the demographic characteristics. There were significant differences in risk reduction behaviors among the groups, especially brand preference/industry information, observation/experience, and media information. Also, correlations between risk perception and risk reduction behaviors were found. The social psychological risk perception was highly correlated to the risk reduction behaviors, while the time/convenience loss risk was not correlated to any risk reduction behavior. The results of this study provide insight into children's wear business through suggesting marketing implication.

The ninety subjects ere collected form the Oriental groups who were studying in Denton, Texas, U.S.A. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, X2-test. The results are as follows: 1) There are significant similarities in the consumer behavior of the Oriental students regarding the information source, the preferred type of clothing, the factors affecting the choice of retail store, and the satisfaction after the clothing purchase. 2) There are some differences in the consumer behavior among three groups regarding expenditures of the purchase of clothing and the preferred choice of retail store. The purpose of this study was to examine the dissatisfaction level of consumers buying foreign goods through Internet shopping malls and their complaint behavior. As there is growing demand for foreign brands along with a rapid increase in the Internet user population, a lot of ongoing studies have focused on Internet-based transaction. The dissatisfaction level of selected consumers was checked in terms of system, price, quality, information/hype, shipping and refund/exchange, and it's found that complaint behavior linked to refund/exchange was most prevalent. The most dominant way for them to respond to such situations was talking friends, relatives or neighbors about that. And they had an intention to buy foreign goods through Internet shopping malls again to greater or lesser extents, though they were unsatisfied. It indicates that the consumers didn't have a wide option in the consumer market.
This study examined the effects of demographic characteristics (education, income level) on the relationships among knowledge of textile fibers, information searching behavior on textile fabrics, and information sources of textile materials in children's clothings. The subjects were 307 mothers with preschool children(4∼6years) in Seoul. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using T-test analysis of variance, corelations, and crosstabulation analysis. The results indicated that : (1) Educational levels of consumers had significant influences on knowledge of textile fibers, information searching behavior on textile fabric, and information sources of textile materials in children's clothings. (2) There were significant relationship between consumer's knowledge of textile fibers and information searching behavior on textile materials in children's clothings.

This study is also to reveal some fundamental information for an environmental education program which si able to support the new generation consumers to participate voluntarily in an environmental activity. The 500 subjects of this study were selected from the new generation consumers who wre residing in Seoul, 1998. The 414 data wre finally analyzed by Mean, t-Test, ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: 1) the purchasing roles of the new generation consumer tended to be higher than the citizen participation’s roles. The variables with the higher score for the new generation’s green consumption behavior were in the rank of the isolation of environmental waste, the purchasing behavior of green product, the recycling environmental resource, and citizen’s participating roles in environmental activity. 2) the new generation’s consumer roles showed a significant differences, according to variables for the environmental value, environmental education, and participation of the environmental and societal activity 3) the green consumption behavior for the new generation consumers showed a significant differences, according to sex, environmental value, participation of the environmental and societal activity. 4) the most influential variables for the green consumption behavior of the new generation consumers were in the rank of consumer roles, educational values, and the participation of the environmental activity. As we see above, the consumer education for the new generations needs to focus on consumer’s roles that let them participate voluntarily in environmental and societal activity, as well as practice positively to use green environmental products whenever they select some items in the markets.

This study was fulfilled in the purpose of proposing construction strategies of Internet shopping-mall through the analysis of consumer moving line in Internet shopping-mall. This study was executed in two stages: theoretical study, qualitative study. In the theoretical study, hypothetical Internet shopping behavior model were constructed. Five internet shopping behavior types of apparel : purchase, searching purchase, prepurchase deliberation, information accumulation, opinion leadership and recreation were constructed. Next, consumer decision process were extracted from previous studies and a hypothetical internet shopping behavior model was constructed on the base of consumer decision process and Internet shopping behavior types. And then, through the qualitative study, Internet shopping behavior types were identified and hypothetical model was confirmed after adjustment. For qualitative study, 30 subjects were sampled by focus sampling and investigated by in-depth interview and observation. Seven internet shopping behavior types of apparel were found by the qualitative study: cautious purchase by price comparison, searching purchase, special low price purchase, impulse purchase, prepurchase deliberation, information accumulation and recreation-oriented. On the base of these behavior types, Internet shopping behavior model was adjusted and completed. This study is to apply a goal-directed model for ethical consumption behavior and to see which factors influence consumers' boycott intention. We identify factors related to a goal-directed model for consumers, level of ethical consumption tendency, and boycott desire; in addition, factors that affect boycott intentions were also analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, consumers' boycott intentions are not high and public intention motivation is relatively low. Second, negative anticipated emotion shows an indirect effect with boycott desire as a mediator. Third, ethical consumption tendency has a significant effect on boycott desire and boycott intention. Therefore, we have to let consumers know that boycott actually shows a consumer's right and that it is also necessary to conduct various ethical consumption education.

S. pension system, research on worker's behavior of defined contribution retirement plans, and studies on retirement income adequacy. These themes may have common or different features in other countries, such as Korea. This paper provides helpful information for private and public policy makers and researchers of these topics in Korea to advance their understanding of pension and retirement behavior and facilitate effective policy making of pensions and retirement.
Consumer's switching behavior from incumbent smartphone to new one can be explained by not merely rational assessment but also affective aspects like aesthetic or pleasure and emotional points like attachment. but, in information system field, researches on affective.emotional factors relatively were insufficient and researches which focus on the perspective of the consumer were more scarcity. consumer's attachment to current smartphone brand and perceived aesthetic on new one would influence rational evaluation to switch or not. Therefore, this study investigates relationship between emotional factors on current smartphone and assessment of new one, in turn, we empirically analyzes purchase intention of the consumer. In order to prove the validity of the hypotheses, this study was applied longitudinal study and then conduct a survey of 212 smartphone users. The analysis results by Partial Least Square (PLS) approach showed that all hypotheses in this study were statistically supported.
