This study empirically examined which factors facilitate or disturb the learning and practical knowledge transfer in consulting and which factors have most powerful influence on the learning and transfer of consulting knowledge. Analysing 160 data collected from FTA origin managers in export companies, the study findings show the ambiguity(-), complexity(+), consulting competences(+), intervention design and delivery(+), self-efficacy(+) and government subsidies(+) significantly affected on Client's learning, while consultant's expertise(+), consulting involvement(+), transfer culture(+) significantly affected on consulting knowledge transfer, respectively. It showed that consulting competence and causal ambiguity have an greater influence on learning while consultant's expertise has a greater influence on consulting knowledge transfer, respectively. The findings implicate that consulting success depends on rather consultant's factors(consultant's expertise and consulting competence) than client's input factors. To succeed in consulting project, it is important that the consultants effectively develop and apply consulting methods & tools as shared interfaces between consultant and client.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of controlling consulting service quality in relation to the factors of success and performances of the social enterprises. In order to achieve the objective of this study, securement of market competitiveness, entrepreneurship and network activity was defined to be the factors of success and the research model and hypothesis was set according to the theoretical basis of the factors of success, performances and the quality of consulting services. The results showed that first, securement of market competitiveness, entrepreneurship and network activities as factors of success all had significant effects on performances pertaining to both profit-making and public interest, having great influence on the securement of market competitiveness of the social enterprises. Secondly, as a result of analyzing the effects of controlling the quality of consulting services in relation to the relationship between the factors of success and management performances of the social enterprises, network activity showed to have significant effect on performances pertaining to both profit-making and public interest. Through this study, the importance and the necessity of the improvement of consulting services and network activities of social enterprises were highlighted and the necessity of a new consulting principle in the consulting industry that can be specialized to social enterprises is proposed.

Empirical studies on the implementation of data warehousing systems(DWS) are few while there exist a number of researches on the implementation of IS. This article intends to examine the factors affecting the implementation success. of DWS. It adopts the empirical analysis of a sample of 112 responses from DWS practitioners. The study results suggest several implications for researchers and practitioners. When the support from top management becomes great, the implementation success of DWS in organizational aspects is more likely. The support of resources increases the implementation success of DWS in project aspects, while it is not significantly related to the implementation success of DWS in organizational aspects. The user involvement in systems implementation, however, affects the implementation success of DWS in organizational and project aspects. Prototyping for the DWS implementation positively affects the implementation success of DWS. This indicates that the extent of understanding the requirements and the communication among project members increases also the implementation success of DWS. The extent of consulting activities in DWS projects increases the implementation success of DWS in project aspects. The continuous support of consulting activities and technology transfers enhances the adherence to the project schedule, preventing the exceeding of the project budget and ensuring the implementation of the intended system functions.

This thesis investigated and studied the effect of CEO's values, consultant's competency, and value alignment with workers on the success and performance of strategic consulting. With 180 copies of data from the questionnaire, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis were performed, and structural equations for the final research model were performed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that innovation performance and management capability had a significant effect on value consistency. It was confirmed that the value consistency had a significant effect on the degree of completion and utilization, and the degree of completion and utilization had a significant effect on satisfaction and contribution to management performance.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the business performance determinants of private consulting firms supporting bottom-up local development projects in rural areas. Under the shortage of well-trained rural development professionals, Private consulting firms support rural development projects driven by the residents. Considering the important role for consulting firms to play in the success in rural development projects, it becomes necessary to review the circumstances of consulting market on rural development projects. This study targeted 80 companies that are listed in the book rural development consulting firms. Analysis showed that factors influencing the business performance are not professional competencies but other external factors. The implications based on the above results need to be considered for policy-making to ensure that consulting company selection must be guaranteed of the consulting firms'capability by detailed fields of consulting firms' capability, and the training system for rural development experts must be formed.

Although knowledge transfer between two different parties occurs in IS development projects, the majority of prior studies focused on knowledge transfer from IT consultants to clients. Considering two parts of knowledge transfer in IS development projects, we must consider both 'where knowledge is transferred from' and 'where it is transferred to'. Therefore, in this study, we attempt to describe two different routes of knowledge transfer, such as knowledge transfer from an IT consultant to a client and knowledge transfer from a client to an IT consultant. In this regard, we have examined the effect of two different routes of knowledge transfer on system implementation success in IS development project. Specifically, we adopted the knowledge stock-flow theory to examine the causal relationship between IT consulting firms and clients in terms of knowledge transfer and eventual system implementation success. Survey data collected from 213 pairs of individuals (both clients and IT consultants) were used to test the model using three different analytic approaches such as PLS (partial least squares) and two types of mediated regression techniques. We found that knowledge transfers partially mediated both the relationships between IT consultants' IT skills (project members' business knowledge) and system implementation success. Furthermore, the effects of each knowledge transfer were distinguished by depending on the types of system, such as ERP or groupware. Our attempts have significant implications for both research and practice given the importance of effective knowledge transfer to IT consulting.

다른 경영혁신체계의 도입시와 비슷하게 대다수의 BSC도입 기업들이 성공하지 못한 가장 큰 이유는 기존의 성과관리체계를 BSC의 4가지 관점하에 재설계하는데 급급하거나 구축이후 변화 관리가 제대로 이루어지지 못함으로서 지속적인 전략이행 도구로서 보다는 일회성의 성과평가 수단으로서 머무른데 있다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 기업에 대한 사례분석을 통하여 BSC를 성공적으로 활용하기 위한 5가지의 성공요소들을 도출하였고 이를 달성하기 위한 이행 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to apply the instruction consulting model for elementary science lesson with novice teacher. In this study the PIE(Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation stage) instruction consulting model was used. This model was introduced and offered during the electromagnet unit for sixth graders. The results of this study were as follows. First, in the assessment of the teacher's satisfaction with the instruction consulting the client teacher was found to be very satisfied. Second, the inquiry and scientific achievement for the students of the client's class were to increase in the experimental group, which demonstrated a statistically significant difference. Given the above results, the instruction consulting applied with the PIE model for novice teachers, who desire to raise the success rate of the experiment for students in the electromagnet unit of the elementary science class, helped the teachers to teach the students.

Objective: This study aims explore the experiences of consulting in childcare centers and identify policy implications through focus groups consisting of childcare personnel, including directors, teachers, consultants, and program staff. Methods: Focus group interviews were conducted with participants divided into three distinct groups. The interviews, held via Zoom, used an open-ended discussion format based on pre-announced topics. The collected data were then systematically categorized and classified into themes. Results: Since the primary purpose of consulting was to meet the requirements of the childcare evaluation system, expanding the scope of consulting is necessary to invigorate these programs. Additionally, the voluntary participation of childcare teachers and their positive relationships with consultants were identified as key success factors. Emphasizing the need to enhance consultants' expertise and address regional disparities was also highlighted. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that it is essential to systematize and diversify the consulting field, as well as enhance the expertise of consultants, to establish consulting as an effective method for improving the quality of childcare centers.

This study developed a prediction model using machine learning technology and predicted the success of health consulting by using life log data generated through u-Health service. The model index of the Random Forest model was the highest using. As a result of analyzing the Random Forest model, blood pressure was the most influential factor in the success or failure of metabolic syndrome in the subjects of u-Health service, followed by triglycerides, body weight, blood sugar, high cholesterol, and medication appear. muscular, basal metabolic rate and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol were increased; waist circumference, Blood sugar and triglyceride were decreased. Further, biometrics and health behavior improved. After nine months of u-health services, the number of subjects with four or more factors for metabolic syndrome decreased by 28.6%; 3.7% of regular drinkers stopped drinking; 23.2% of subjects who rarely exercised began to exercise twice a week or more; and 20.0% of smokers stopped smoking. If the predictive model developed in this study is linked with CBR, it can be used as case study data of CBR with high probability of success in the prediction model to improve the compliance of the subject and to improve the qualitative effect of counseling for the improvement of the metabolic syndrome.
