The Effect of Clothing Interest and Fashion Innovativeness on Olfaction of Apparel Product

  • This study investigates the combined effect of clothing interest and fashion innovativeness on dimensions of scent quality (pleasantness, intensity, familiarity, and congruency) to understand which dimensions of scent quality have significant positive effects on the appeal of scented apparel products. The survey data were statistically analyzed. A structural equation modeling using LISREL was conducted to test the model. Results indicate that clothing interest has a significant impact on scent quality attitude. Positive evaluations of the product were most strongly influenced by the pleasantness quality of the scent. Intensity and familiarity were factors that affected the approach of consumer responses toward scented products. Congruency was not a significant scent quality in generating positive responses for apparel products among consumers.

류마티스 관절염 환자가 지각하는 불확실성에 관한 모형 구축 (Model Construction of Perceived Uncertainty in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients)

  • Rheumatoid arthritis, unlike other chronic diseases, causes the patients to experience uncertainty in their daily lives and thus to feel threat on their emotional comfort because of inconsistent and unpredictable symptoms such as pain. Therefore, a theoretical framework is needed for explanation of uncertainty in patients having rheumatoid arthritis. A hypothetical model was constructed on the basis of Mishel's Uncertainty Theory and other literature review. The model included 9 theoretical concepts and 19 paths. Subjects of the study constituted 330 partients who visited outpatient clinics of two university hospitals and one general hospital in Seoul. Self report questionnaires were used to measure the variables affecting uncertainty. Reliability coefficients of these instruments were found Cronbach's Alpha=$.70{\sim}.94$. In data analysis, SAS program and PC-LISREL 8.03 computer program were utilized for descriptive statistics and covariance structure analysis. The results of covariance structure analysis for model fitness were as follows : 1) Hypothetical model showed a good fit to the empirical data : Chi-square($X^2$)=41.81 (df=11, P=.000), Goodness of Fit Index=.974, Root Mean Square Residual=.049, Normed Fit Index=.928, Non Normed Fit Index=.814. 2) For the validity and the parcimony of model, a modified model was constructed by appending 2 paths and deleting 5 paths according to the criteria of statistical significance and meaningfulness. 3) The results of hypothesis testing were as follows : (1) Educational level, event familiarity and severity of illness had a direct effect on uncertainty : Event congruency had both direct and indirect effect on uncertainty : Credible authority and symptom consistency had a nonsignificant direct effect on uncertainty, (2) Illness duration, symptom consistency, and event congruency had a direct effect on severity of illness ; Credible authority had a both direct and indirect effect on severity of illness ; Event congruency had the greatest effect on severity of illness, and event familiarity had a nonsignificant direct effect on severity of illness.

  • Self-image is an organized structure of perceptions of one's self and it has a direct influence on values, ideas, goals and objective. And It is generally agreed that consumers engage in buying behavior that is consistent and congruent with their self-image. With this assumptions numerous researches have prove that consumers tends to favor the brand or store image that is congruent to self-image. According to these results we can assume that self-image also can have influence on consumer's information processing, especially in advertising process. Because one of the main factor in forming the brand or store image is advertising. Thus, this study is to propose it's effect of self-image in clothing advertising process. In specifically to find out congruency between self-image and clothing ad image's influence on ad recalling, ad attitude and buying intention. And also it's difference between ideal self and actual self. This study suggested that when there is a congruency between self-image and clothing ad image, consumers have more positive attitude toward the clothing ad and have more intention to buy the products ann also can recall more frequently. Considering the characteristics of clothing goods as a symbolical goods, ideal self-image is more effective than actual self-image.

간호사가 지각한 리더의 서번트 리더십이 리더효과, 리더만족 및 추가적 노력에 미치는 영향: 리더 신뢰 및 가치일치의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Nurses' Perception of Servant Leadership on Leader Effectiveness, Satisfaction and Additional Effort: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Leader Trust and Value Congruence)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of nurses' perception of servant leadership on leader effectiveness, satisfaction and promoting additional effort. The focus was the mediating effects of leader trust and value congruence. Methods: Data were collected from 361 RN-BSN students and nurses participating in nationally attended in-service training programs. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural analysis with SPSS 17.0 windows program and Amos 7.0. Results: Direct effects of nurses' perception of servant leadership were negative, but mediating effects of trust and value congruency were positively correlated with leader effectiveness, satisfaction and additional effort, that is servant leadership should be effective through mediating factors. Conclusion: The study results indicate that if the middle managers of nurses can build leader trust and value congruency between nurses through servant leadership, leader effectiveness, satisfaction and additional effort on the part of the nurses could result in a positive change in the long term.

Learning a Single Joint Perception-Action Coupling: A Pilot Study

  • Purpose: This study examined the influence of visuomotor congruency on learning a relative phase relationship between a single joint movement and an external signal. Methods: Participants (N=5) were required to rhythmically coordinate elbow flexion-extension movements with a continuous sinusoidal wave (0.375 Hz) at a $90^{\circ}$ relative phase relationship. The congruent group was provided online feedback in which the elbow angle decreased (corresponding to elbow flexion) as the angle trajectory was movingup, and vice versa. The incongruent group was provided online feedback in which the elbow angle decreased as the angle trajectory was moving down, and vice versa. There were two practice sessions (day 1 and 2) and each session consisted of 6 trials per block (5 blocks per session). Retention tests were performed 24 hours after session 2, and only the external sinusoidal wave was provided. Repeated ANOVAs were used for statistical analysis. Results: During practice, the congruent group was significantly less variable than the incongruent group. Phase variability in the incongruent group did not significantly change across blocks, while variability decreased significantly in the congruent group. In retention, the congruent group produced the required $90^{\circ}$ relative phase pattern with significantly less phase variability than the incongruent group. Conclusions: Congruent visual feedback facilitates learning. Moreover, the deprivation of online feedback does not affect the congruent group but does affect the incongruent group in retention.

노년기 젠더관계와 심리적 복지감: 유배우 노인의 성역할태도와 가사노동분담의 영향에 대하여 (Gender Relations and Psychological Well-Being Among the Elderly)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 노년기 젠더관계가 노인의 심리적 복지감(Psychological well-being)에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 노인부부의 젠더관계를 규명하기 위해 성역할태도와 가사노동분담을 측정하였고 노인의 심리적 복지감은 우울도와 행복감으로 측정되었다. 연구의 대상은 부산광역시에 거주하는 배우자와 동거하고 자녀와는 동거하지 않으며, 부부 모두 직업에서 은퇴한, 65세 이상의 남녀노인 476명이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 여성노인이 남성노인에 비해 보다 평등적인 성역할태도를 지니고 있으며, 노인부부의 가사노동 수행에 있어 성별 분절현상이 나타난다. 2) 여성노인이 남성노인에 비해 성역할태도와 가사노동분담 수준이 불일치하는 경우가 더 많았으며, 남녀 노인 모두 성역할태도와 가사노동분담 수준이 일치할수록 심리적 복지감이 높았다. 3) 남녀노인의 성역할태도는 심리적 복지감에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 4) 여성노인의 가사노동분담은 심리적 복지감에 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하고 있으며, 남성노인의 가사노동분담은 오히려 그들의 심리적 복지감을 낮게 한다.

리더십이 요양보호사의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 조직미션 동의의 매개효과 (The Influency of Leadership on Care Workers' Organizational Commitment : Mediating Effect of Organizational Mission Congruency)

  • 본 연구는 노인요양시설 요양보호사들의 조직몰입을 높이기 위하여 노인요양시설 최고관리자의 리더십과 조직미션의 동의정도가 정서적몰입, 규범적몰입에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석하셨다. 분석결과 변혁적리더십, 조직미션의 동의 정도는 모두 정서적 몰입과 규범적 몰입에 모두 긍정적 영향을 나타냈다. 특히 규범적 몰입에 대해서는 변혁적 리더십이 조직미션에 대한 동의정도를 통해 영향을 미치는 매개효과가 검증되었다.

포털뉴스 제공자와 이용자간 상호지향성 연구 (A Study on the Co-orientation of Internet Portal News Providers and Users)

  • 매체 기술의 발달에 따라 뉴스전달의 흐름이 일방향에서 쌍방향으로, 뉴스 수용자가 적극적인 이용자로 새로이 자리매김 해가는 추세다. 이러한 상황 인식을 바탕으로 본 연구는 온라인 뉴스 제공자로서의 포털 뉴스 사이트와 뉴스 소비자로서의 네티즌이 상호 어떤 인식을 갖고 있는지 탐구하는 데에 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 포털 뉴스의 매체적인 특성을 쌍방향상으로 인한 적극적 이용자 부상, 뉴스 제공자와 시민기자로의 확장, 선택권의 확대(이용자 특성), 컨텐츠 업데이트, 컨텐츠 분량의 무제한성, 하이퍼텍스트성, 컨텐츠 보존성, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 제공(컨텐츠 특성) 등 8가지를 추출하고 그에 대한 이용자와 사용자간 상호인식을 채피와 맥리오드의 상호지향성 모형을 적용해 알아보았다. 연구결과 이용자 특성에 관한 문항은 부분 일치로, 서로 일치하는 인식에 대해 이용자들이 오해를 하고 있었던 반면, 컨텐츠 특성 항목에서는 대부분의 문항에서 제공자가 더 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 포털을 통한 뉴스전달방식에 대해 제공자와 이용자가 아직 상호 지향되지 않고 있으며, 이는 새로운 매체실험에 따른 역동성의 결과로서 향후 상호지향을 위한 커뮤니케이션의 증대를 시사한다.

트위터 유력자와의 의견일치여부가 의견표명에 미치는 영향: 유력자 유형의 상호작용효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Opinion Congruency with Twitter Influentials on Opinion Expression: The Interaction Effect of Influential Type)

  • 본 연구는 트위터 유력자가 이용자의 온-오프라인 의견표명 의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 침묵의 나선 이론과 수정 행동 가설에 근거하여 상반된 가설을 도출하였고, 어느 가설이 더 타당한지를 검증해보기 위해 실험연구를 진행하였다. 실험참가자들은 입양특례법 개정안에 대한 공인 유력자의 찬성 트윗, 공인 유력자의 반대 트윗, 일반인 유력자의 찬성 트윗, 일반인 유력자의 반대 트윗이라는 4개의 실험 조건에 배치되었다. 입양특례법 개정안에 대한 실험참가자의 의견을 바탕으로, 실험집단은 공인 유력자와의 의견일치 집단, 공인 유력자와의 의견불일치 집단, 일반 유력자와의 의견일치 집단, 일반 유력자와의 의견불일치 집단으로 구분되었다. 분석결과, 유력자와의 의견일치여부는 이용자의 의견표명 의도에 영향을 주지 않았다. 그러나 유력자 유형에 따른 상호작용 효과가 발견되었는데, 일반인 유력자와의 의견불일치가 이용자들의 온-오프라인 의견표명 의지를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 트위터 유력자가 이용자들을 침묵시키는 것이 아니라 오히려 의견표명을 동기화시킬 가능성이 있음을 보여준다.

  • In the classical Preisach model for hard magenets, there break out several problems which are the asymmetry and negative domains of the distribution functions and the contradiction of the congruency. In this paper, generalized hysteresis model is proposed by applying the molecular field theory to the classical Preisach model. And it is showed that the problems above are solved by the generalized hysteresis model. The experiments are compared with the simulations and we got acceptible results.
