Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of nurse managers' conflict management styles on nurses' levels of leader trust and organizational commitment. Methods: For this study, a descriptive survey design was used. The participants were 165 nurses who had worked more than 1 year in a university hospital. Data were collected from September 1 to September 10, 2016, using a self-report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Scheffe's tests, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Among the nurse managers' conflict management styles, the problem-solving style was positively correlated with both leader trust and organizational commitment. Concession-avoiding and control-leading styles were negatively correlated with both variables. Furthermore, the problem-solving style was found to have significant influence on both leader trust and organizational commitment. Conclusion: In order to more actively cope with conflict situations occurring in the nursing work environment, nursing managers need to exhibit more effective attitudes of conflict management. This study suggests that the problem-solving style is a desirable conflict management style in terms of increasing leader trust and organizational commitment.

Conflicts in public construction projects become more serious and complex so that they have a negative effect on performance of projecets. Conflicts in public construction projects are defined as expanding in complaints. This study analyzes the relationship structure and effect on performance between complaints and conflicts. First of all, 219 survey data collected from industry experts were used to derive complaints arising from the project and to understand the characteristics of each complaint. In the case of environmental damages, rather than environmental damage during construction, harmful substances or effects that can occur in completed facilities cause complaints from local residents, and opposition from environmental groups has a great effect on time and cost increase. As for safety damage, civil complaints related to prevention and countermeasures for safety accidents occur frequently, and additional construction affects cost increases. Through this study, it is possible to understand the serious complaints that are prone to conflict in public construction projects, their frequency, and the performance of the project.
Objective: The main purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between marital conflict, parentification, and adolescent anxiety. Methods: The participants comprised 301 high school students from the Seoul province. They were asked to complete questionnaires that consisted of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, the Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale, and the Filial Responsibility Scale-Youth. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. To analyze the collected data, SPSS 18.0 was used. Results: First, the content and resolution of marital conflict had an effect on both adolescent state anxiety and trait anxiety. Second, unfairness parentification had an effect on both adolescent state anxiety and trait anxiety. Third, the frequency of marital conflict had an effect on emotional parentification. Further, the intensity, content, and resolution of marital conflict had effect on unfairness parentification. Fourth, unfairness parentification played a partial mediating role in the relationship between the content of marital conflict and adolescent anxiety (state anxiety/trait anxiety). In addition, unfairness parentification played a complete mediating role in the relationship between the resolution of marital conflict and adolescent trait anxiety. Conclusion: These results indicate that parentification plays an important role in marital conflict and adolescent anxiety. In addition, this study also shows that marital conflict has an important effect on adolescent anxiety directly. Therefore, this study will be useful for developing both parental education and counseling programs for adolescents.

Methods: Participants in this study were 10 nurses working in one of two hemodialysis units. Data were collected through tape recorded in-depth interviews done between December, 2011 and February, 2012. Data were analyzed using grounded theory methodology. Results: From the participants' statements, 43 concepts, 18 subcategories and 10 categories were extracted through the open cording process. The 10 categories were: "Burden", "Role conflict", "Fearful", "Conflict of emotion", "Lack systematic job training", "Lack support system", "Compassion", "Rapport created", "Sense of duty", and "Growth". The core category was discovered to be 'recognized growth'. Phenomenon was identified as 'burnout' and this series of processes was categorized as having three stages: 'conflict', 'acceptance', 'growth'. Conclusion: The results of this study provide useful information about the needs of Hemodialysis Unit Nurses during the practice adaptation process based on their stages and types of practice adaptation. Finally, this study contributes data for the development of intervention programs that support the Hemodialysis Unit Nurses' practice adaptation.

This study attempted to characterize conflict frames of environmental disputes by examining twelve actual wetland permitting cases in Ohio. The participants consisted of such interested parties as applicants, technical, legal or environmental consultants to applicants, U.S.Army Corps of Engineers, U.S.Environmental Protection Agency, U.S.Fish and Wildlife Service, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio Department of Natural Resoures, local agencies, the environmental community, and citizens who have been involved of the permitting process. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of how different perceptual frames existed in the wetland conversion disputes, and to understand different environmental conflict frames that influenced disputants' perception relating to dispute resolution. The vehicles used to collect the necessary data were three survey instruments : Open-ended questionnaires, Likert-type questionnaires, and ranking questionnaires. Forty-three subjects were contacted for open fact-to-fact interviews, 53 subject for Kikert-type mail survey and 54 subjects for ranking instrument mail survey. Analyses of survey results revealed that six different types of frames were clearly identified from all the parties involved in Ohio wetland conversion disputes. It revealed that disputants had statistically significantly different levels of perception to the frames based on the participants' role (i.e. regulator, applicant, commentor), the number of involved parties in the process, processing time and the issuance of a permit. The findings also revealed that information sharing among disputants played a significant role in the process of froming and reframing. The alternative idea, building cooperation through negotiation, was proposed to provide new insight into the resolution of the dispute.

Each 13 couples of the experiment group and the control group were analysed. The effectiveness of this program was evaluated by pretest, post test, and follow-up after 3 months. It was analyzed by Mann-Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed-Rank Test. Also, as for the experiment group, the level of objective change perception, qualitative evaluation, and program evaluation were investigated. The major results were as follows: This marital counseling program for conflict solution was effective to decrease the level of marital conflict and explosive conflict coping and to increase the level of emotional interaction, communication skill, marital satisfaction, and self-esteem among experiment group. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test, Pearson correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: It turned out that work-family conflict plays an important role in the relationship among emotional labor, occupational stress, turnover intention of nurses. Conclusion: Therefore, to reduce nurses' turnover intention, it is necessary to have an intervention focusing on work-family conflict.
