The right hip adbuctor musculature has been reported to demonstrate 'stretch weakness' attributable to chronic elongation imposed by standing posture common to right-handed healthy persons. Kendall and associates have described the concept of 'stretch weakness'. The purpose of this study was to assess isometric hip abduction torque and surface electro-myographic activity (using MYOMED 432) in a sample of 40 healthy right-handed persons (20 male, 20 female), all of whom agreed to participate in the study, and compare side difference in the hip abductor musculature. In order to assure the statistical significance of the results, the paired t-test was applied at the .05 level of significance. The results were as follows : 1. The difference in apparent leg length of right and left legs was significant at the .05 leve1. 2. There was a significant difference between right and left pelvic height (standing position) at the .005 level measurements, and scapula height at the .05 level. 3. Power measurements and action potentials of right hip adbuctor were greater than the left hip adbuctor regardless of the range of joint motion (inner range, outer range). 4. The difference in muscle power and action potentials according to inner or outer range of both hip abductor were significant at the .05 level. 5. In supine during active left hip abduction, the appearance of action potentials in the right hip abductors is indicative of contra-lateral effect (p<.005). These results suggest : In healthy right-handed persons. the apparent leg length on the right is longer than on the left, and pelvic height is elevated on the right side. Muscle torque and muscle action potentials of the right hip adbuctor art higher than those of the hip abductor in the lengthened position. Therefore, the results in this study are contrary to Kendall's. This type of study should be carried out in many physical therapy departments.

International exchange gets active in nations with the increase of Internet use and heading toward digital age. Thus the communication conveying image of nations effectively plays an important role in an international society. Sports events are regarded as important international exchange events and good opportunities for public relations of one's own country and taken as tools of planting good images in other nations. This study surveyed the concept and history of uniform through the documents and previous studies in order to find the aesthetic characteristics of sportswear uniform applying the image of national ensign and investigates the origin and start time in Korea of selected 6 sports items. As a result of finding the expression way of ensign image and drawing the aesthetic characteristics by analyzing the use and variation of ensign colors, the use of colors other than ensign and reflection of ensign form in collected 60 sports uniforms, this study could draw the symbolical beauty, beauty of variation and beauty of brevity. First, symbolical beauty is the aesthetic characteristics expressing uniforms by using the pattern ensign symbolizes and ensign colors themselves or enlarging a part of ensign. Second, beauty of variation is the aesthetic characteristics creating geometrical new patterns in uniform through the distortion and exaggeration of ensign shape, or transforming the colors themselves of ensign. Third, beauty of brevity is the aesthetic characteristics using other colors only as decorative factor while applying the main colors of ensign to the most part of uniform, or unifying the uniforms with only one color of ensign. As a result of survey, the proportion of the symbolical beauty was highest in summer season and beauty of brevity and beauty of variation followed and the proportion of beauty of variation was highest and the symbolical beauty and beauty of brevity followed after that in winter season. This study found the way of expressing image of one's own country in sports uniform through this article, expecting the exact recognition on sports uniform and the diversity of sports uniform design in which the images of the nation are expressed more variously.

To estimate accurate design quantiles considering statistical characteristics of hydrological data is one of the most important procedures in the design of hydraulic structures. While at-site frequency analysis estimates design quantile using observed data at a site of interest, regional frequency analysis (RFA) utilizes a number of sites included in a hydrologically homogeneous region. Therefore, RFA could provide a more accurate design quantile at ungauged site or sites with short observation period. In this review article, RFA is classified into stationary RFA and nonstationary RFA depending on the characteristic of hydrological data, and the basic concept, procedure, and application of each technique are explained in detail focused on the index flood method. Additionally, a review of the state of the art for RFA procedure is presented. This paper is finalized by describing the stationary regional rainfall frequency analysis over South Korea contained in the amendment of "Standard guidelines for design flood estimation" and various future study topics related to nonstationary RFA.

Unlike the value-oriented tendency of the older generation, the MZ generation, which is emerging as a new consumer, values individual happiness and satisfaction by recognizing consumption as a kind of play, and clearly reveals its playful characteristics compared to other generations. Therefore, this study identified users' needs for interaction elements that can give a playful stimulus to the music player UI, a key function of the music streaming app, one of the universal play activities of the MZ generation. Through previous studies, the concept and characteristics of microinteraction and gamification that can be used as play elements and the relationship between play and art as well as playful characteristics of the MZ generation were summarized. In addition, the current status was identified through case analysis of the existing music app's music player UI and user interviews were conducted through contextual inquiry methods. Afterwards, I was able to identify the positive need to apply playful elements to the music player UI through analysis of user behavior patterns, and based on this, I discovered the possibility of providing an immersive music listening experience through playful interaction.

It is not easy to present a generalized operating model because the operating environment of a sport event is composed of a complex matrix structure. In this study, we propose 'standardization' which provides guidance of concept and process of sport event management to solve this sports event management problem. To purpose complete of this study, the frame was developed by the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 is applied. The standards framework for sports event process management system structure proposed in this study consists of scope of application, citing standard, Terms and definitions, organizational situation, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement. This sport event process management system standard can be applied to any organization that wants to host, prepare, and operate sport events regardless of the form or scale of the sport event. In addition, this standard was focused on process management of life-cycle stages of sporting events, therefor it was possible to manage interrelationships and dependencies between processes and processes.

This study examined the concept and characteristics of grotesque painting and its history and presented body painting convergence designs using paintings of each age as basic data on creative and unique body painting design. For the purpose, this study theoretically examined the concepts, characteristics and expressing techniques of grotesque and body painting, analysed images of grotesque paintings in each age and represented convergence body painting based on the results. As a result, it was discovered that paintings including grotesque paintings provided infinite imagination and diverse themes for body painting artists. It means that artistic works can work efficiently for future body painting design. Also, it is expected that they will inspire those who want to study them more academically and in an organized way and body painting will have an independent area in art.

GNSS-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) is a technique for measuring and analyzing signals transmitted from satellites, reflecting on the surface of land or sea. GNSS-R is mainly used for measuring the water level variation, typhoon and meteorological anomaly, soil moisture, and snow depth. This paper describes the concept and measurement principle of GNSS-R technology, especially focusing on the field of marine utilization and its feasibility. In particular, it presents the applications of this technique for monitoring the safety of marine environment as well as the marine vessel and their utilization areas based on currently available infrastructure on the ground and maritime reference stations, such as the existing differential GNSS reference stations and integrity monitors (DGNSS RSIM), and GNSS reference station infrastructure, using the ground-based and the satellite-based GNSS-R approaches.

This study attempts to examine the process of place-making, to define the role and interrelationship of the subjects and to analyze the placeness of the 'Kim Gwang-seok Road', a representative example of artificial place-making. Through a 10-year urban regeneration project based on the concept of Kim Gwang-seok, the alleyway between Bangcheon Market and the retaining wall of Sincheon-daero has been embedded as a memorial space for Kim Gwang-seok and an cultural art space. However, the existing placeness has weakened as the result of the excessive tourism in the late 2010s, while the characteristics of cultural commercial space has strengthened. This change in place has prompted community disintegration, which has caused the loss of momentum for sustainable development. To overcome these problems, it will be necessary to establish endogenous governance to expand and reproduce existing community capabilities, embedded social capital and place assets in new directions.

Professional identity formation (PIF) is an essential concept in professional education. Many scholars have explored conceptual frameworks of PIF and conducted empirical studies to advance an understanding of the construct in medical education. Despite its importance, it is unclear what educational approaches and assessment practices are actually implemented in medical education settings. Therefore, we conducted a literature review of empirical studies reporting educational practices for medical learners' PIF. We searched the Web of Science database using keywords and chose 37 papers for analysis based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Thematic analysis was conducted. Most empirical papers (92%) were from North America and Western Europe and used qualitative research methods, including mixed methods (99%). The papers reported the use of reflection activities and elective courses for specific purposes, such as art as an educational activity. Patient and healthcare experiences were also found to be a central theme in medical learners' PIF. Through an iterative analysis of the key themes that emerged from the PIF studies, we derived the following key concepts and implications: (1) the importance of creating informal and incidental learning environments, (2) ordinary yet authentic patient experiences, (3) a climate of psychosocial safety in a learning environment embracing individual learners' background and emotional development, and (4) the reconceptualization of PIF education and assessment. In conclusion, research on PIF should be diversified to include various cultural and social contexts. Theoretical frameworks should also be diversified and developed beyond Kegan's developmental framework to accommodate the nonlinear and dynamic nature of PIF.

This research will apply the environmental characteristics of physical computing to game development, which has the concept of giving substantial materiality to digital media that do not exist in reality. The processing process of physical computing is digital input and digital output, and analog input and analog output, which mainly uses Malik controllers. Therefore, we select development elements by analyzing research cases in the field of digital art and information education where physical computing is studied a lot, and by analyzing games that borrowed some physical computing elements. The derived elements are verified by the Delphi's research methodology through agreement with experts. 12 elements are selected in this study, and the importance is shown in order of the physical properties in the virtual world, the suitability of the implementation technology, and the conformity between real and virtual players.
