In this paper, we put forth a procedure that target low power logic synthesis based on XOR representation of Boolean functions, and the results of synthesis procedure are a multi-level XOR form with minimum switching activity. Specialty, this paper show a method to extract the common cubes or kernels by Boolean matrix and rectangle covering, and to estimate the power consumption in terms of the extracted common sub-functions.

The problem of finding an admissible object trajectory for a cooperating two-robot system is investigated. The method is based on reformulating the problem as a nonlinear optimization problem with equality constraints in terms of the joint variables. The optimization problem is then solved numerically on a computer. The solution automatically gives the corresponding joint variable trajectories as well, thus eliminating the need for solving the inverse kinematic problem. The performance indices are chose in joint and cartesian spaces and computer simulations are performed.

In this paper, we investigate two soft handover algorithms used in the different mobile communication system. These different systems are IS-95 system and 3GPP system. The performances of two different soft handover are compared under similar conditions in terms of propagation, environment and mobility behavior. For performance comparison of soft handover, we model cell environment, radio channel and mobility. With these models the computer simulation are performed and the result of computer simulation are reported.

In this paper, we provide an approach of controller synthesis for input-saturated linear systems by a linear parameter varying (LPV) framework. Using directly the saturation nonlinearity as scheduling parameters, we propose an LPV-stabilizer with parameter-dependent dynamic state-feedback controller concept. Especially, the synthesis conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be solved very efficiency.

In this paper, we propose the Bayes estimators of the reliability for a system consisting of the left-truncated exponential components under the truncated normal distribution as a conjugate prior distribution and squared - error loss function on the series, parallel and k-out-of-m : G system. And we compare the proposed Bayes estimators of the system reliability each other in terms of MSE performances and stabilities by the Monte Carlo simulation.

In this paper, formulas are developed for computing induced line voltages incommunication lines due to power line failure. Formulas are expressed in terms of fault current, mutual impedance andlength of line. Computed results are shown for various power line valtages and length of line. Permutation p-values are provided for the agreement measures for multivariate interval data among many raters. Three agreement measures, Berry and Mielke's measure, Janson and Olsson's measure, and Um's measure are described and compared. Exact and resampling permutation methods are utilized to compute p-values and empirical quantile limits for three measures. Comparisons of p-values demonstrate that resampling permutation methods provide close approximations to exact p-values, and Berry and Mielke's measure and Um's measure show similar performance in terms of measuring agreement.

An expression for the average carry propagation delay in a ripple carry adder is obtained which is exact up to terms of the order 0(n$\^$-1/ln n). The case of several adders working in parallel is also considered.

In this paper, the advantages of buffer insertion access method in comparison with other access methods to local area networks are analyzed. Sending and Receiving protocols in a data link layer are designed by a software method, We have derived both qeueing delays and the response time for the performance model that is proposed in this paper, and using the computer simulation, analyzed the performance for the proposed model in terms of the throughput rate- response time characteristrics. Based on the proposed model, the hardware design is implemented.
