Trees are the underlying structure for divide-and-conquer algorithms and the graphs that provide the solution spaces for NP-complete problems. Complete binary trees are the basic structure among trees. Therefore, if complete binary trees can be embedded in binomial trees, the algorithms which are provided by complete binary trees can be performed efficiently on the interconnection networks which have binomial trees as their subgraphs or in which binomial trees can be embedded easily. In this paper, we present dilation 2 embedding of complete binary trees in binomial trees.

In a local vibration analysis of a large steel frame, a large eigenvalue problem results. Due to computer storage and the expense of a complete solution, it is desirable to minimize the size of the resulting matrices. A new and efficient method of local vibration analysis for large steel frames is presented. It reduces the order of dynamic matrices by dynamic condensation method. Examples are given for local vibration of a plane frame. Results are compared to the complete solution of the full eigenvalue problem.

Whether a given tree is a subgraph of the interconnection network topology is one of the important problem in parallel computing. Trees are used as the underlying structure for divide and conquer algorithms and provide the solution spaces for NP-complete problems. Complete binary trees are the basic structure among those trees. Binomial trees play an important role in broadcasting messages in parallel networks. If binomial trees can be efficiently embedded in complex binary trees, broadcasting algorithms can be effeciently performed on the interconnection networks. In this paper, we present average dilation 2 embedding of binomial trees in complete binary trees.

This study presents a novel complete solution starting with a synthesis of silica modified with potassium-nickel hexacyanoferrate and ethanolamine (SiEA-KNiFe) sorbent through radiocesium sorption in different process configurations and moving on to the vitrification of the spent sorbent, using the sol-gel method. The experimental data for deionized water solution, as well as seawater solution, correlates strongly with the Langmuir isotherm model. Moreover, the study also presents a method for spent sorbent solidification in the glass matrix. The cesium leaching test confirmed that spent sorbent can be stably bound in the glass matrix after radionuclide removal.

We derive lower bounds of the scalar curvature on complete non-compact gradient Yamabe solitons under some integral curvature conditions. Based on this, we prove that potential functions of Yamabe solitons have at most quadratic growth for distance function. We also obtain a finite topological type property on complete shrinking gradient Yamabe solitons under suitable scalar curvature assumptions.

Imprecision of evaluation or lack of prior information about preference can be an obstacle for decision maker in representing his strict preference. Therefore, fuzziness of preference can take place, and in addition, intransitivity or incomparability of preference becomes the critical difficulty in making complete preorder of alternatives. In order to get better solution and to improve practical usufulness, MCDM should be established as a pseudo-criterion model that include fuzzy preference. In this paper, we suggest a pseudo-criterion model that can make complete preorder of alternatives by metric distance measure.

Bleaching powder solution (1 to $5\%$), slaked lime solution (0.1 to $0.5\%$) and formalin (1 and $2\%$) were tested for their efficacy against cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus and Nosema mylittansis spores to control virosis and pebrine respectively in tasar silkworm, Antheraea mylitta in indoor rearing condition. All the disinfectants tested were found effective in suppressing the infection of virosis and pebrine significantly. Complete inactivation of Antheraea mylitta cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus (AmCPV) was recorded when treated with $4\%$ bleaching powder, $0.4\%$ slaked lime for 20 min and $2.0\%$ formalin for 30 min. Similarly treatments of $3.0\%$ bleaching powder solution for 20 min and $2.0\%$ formalin for 30 min were found effective in complete inactivation of N. mylittanis spores.

A few sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of fixed point and common fixed point for certain contractive type mappings in complete metric spaces are provided. Several existence and uniqueness results of solution and common solution for some functional equations and system of functional equations in dynamic programming are discussed by using the fixed point and common fixed point theorems presented in this paper.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of $Clematidis$ radix herbal-acupuncture solution, on collagen, adjuvant, lipopolysaccharide and phospholipase A2 induced rheumatoid arthritis in mice. Methods : Arthritis index was measured for mouse that was injected subcutaneously in solution mixed chicken type II collagen with Freund's complete adjuvant. We injected Freund's complete adjuvant into right posterior part of the sole of a ICR mouse foot, which was measured by plethysmometer. The solution mixed $CRHS$ with Tris-HCI, $CaCl_2$, substrate, enzyme was done a chemical action for thirty minutes, and then inhibitory activity of PLA2 enzyme was expressed with inhibition percentage by utilizing isolated arachidonic acid. COX-2 was induced by adding LPS to RAW 264.7 cell, and COX-2 activity was measured by western blot analysis and $PGE_2$ Biotrak kit. Results : $CRHS$ also inhibited Freund's complete adjuvant induced chronic rheumatoid arthritis in mice. $CRHS$ showed significant inhibition of type I and type II $PLA_2$ activities in a dose dependent manner. Furthermore, $PGE_2$ production was decreased with $CRHS$ and lipopolysaccharide-induced COX-2 protein expression was significantly inhibited by $CRHS$. Conclusions : These results suggest that $CRHS$ has an therapeutic effect on drug induced-rheumatoic arthritis by inhibiting $PLA_2$ and COX-2 activities.
