기업간 상생협력 기반 한국형 제조혁신 전략 (Innovation Strategy for Manufacturing in Korea based on Collaboration)

  • Unpredictable customer demands make manufacturers to make quality products with cheaper price and shorter delivery. To survive in the global market, the manufacturing industry needs to equip with advanced technologies including IT. Under this situation, "collaboration"is the best solution for manufacturers to survive and to grow their company instead of competition. With this strategy, we have conducted a project(e-Manufacturing). The companies participate to the project attained the amazing results by utilizing collaboration systems such as delivery shortened and increase in sale/profit. Since the strategy of the project is assessed to be very useful to increase competition power of manufacturers, the project will be enlarged to cover wider application domains with a new project name called "i-Manufacturing". In this paper, therefore, we introduce the specific output from the e-Manufacturing project and the specific strategies/plans of i-Manufacturing project.

A Study on Competitive Power Comparison and Strategy Collaboration of the Biggest Three Ports of the Economic Circle Around Bohai

  • Based on the fact that Qingdao port, Tianjin port and Dalian port of the economic circle around Bohai have been the three islands of stability through long-term competition, this paper conducts a system study on the competitive powers of the three ports through AHP model on the analysis of current status of the three ports, and probes deeply into the outer factors and the inner factors affecting on the competitive advantage, and points out the existing problems in competition. We think that the three ports must compete orderly and collaborate closely, and give the forms and approaches developing strategy collaboration in order to obtain an advantageous position in Northeast Asia and improve the international competitive power.

서울 은평 뉴타운 2지구 조경설계 (A Landscape Design of Eunpyeong New Town District 2, Seoul)

  • The Seoul Housing Corporation pronounced a design competition for Eunpyeng New Town District 2 in March of 2005. The authors collaborated on this design and won rot prize. Design guidelines of this competition were to make environmentally sustainable design, to develop as a resort site and cultural place for everyday life of residents, to link with green fabric of the district, and to elevate positive image and identity of Eunpyeng New Town district by creating a attractive landscape. The authors developed design concept and strategy within the guidelines and site conditions. The environmental setting of this site was characterized by mountain to the rear of the site with a stream passing through the district and the front of the site. This is the most important condition for the location principle of residence in Fung Shui theory. Therefore, the schema of the design was introduced by Fung Shui and Chi of place. To evolve design concept, we reinterpret the Fung Shui and Chi in the site combining with modem landscape design strategy, so that good place making could bring about well-being life of residents. By doing that, design concept of the proposal evolved as follows: 'fullness of comfortable life', 'adaptation of nature', 'inspiration of natural force'. This design approach is critical reevaluation of regional characters employing modem strategy. It is a conscious strategy of critical regionalism as distinguished from the traditional site oriented approach. The following are some of the major features in the design: green network and water recycle system in the site, promenade of forest with the experience nature, link to community core, theme gardens with plants having strong fragrances, terrace gardens with different level of housing type, playgrounds and resting places with many types, human scale facilities for residents.

글로벌 항만경쟁 환경의 급변에 따른 코피티션(Co-opetition) 전략 활용 방안 (The strategy of Co-opetition in accordancd with the rapid changes of the environments of global port competition)

  • 국내외 항만 환경 변화에 의하여 개별적인 항만 당국들은 갈수록 치열해지는 경쟁 환경속에서 생존하기 위해 코피티션(co-opetition)이라는 새로운 경영 전략을 적극적으로 전개하기 시작하였다. 초거대형 선사 및 글로벌 컨테이너 터미널 운영업체의 시장 지배력 강화에 항만 당국은 개별 항만이 아닌 복수 항만들이 기존의 경쟁 관계에서 탈피하여 선의의 경쟁과 협력을 통해 항만의 경쟁력 제고와 규모의 경제를 통한 비용 절감 등의 경영전략을 모색해야 한다. 이러한 시대적 변화 속에서 우리나라 항만의 장기적인 발전을 도모하기 위해서는 외국 주요 항만 간 코피티션 전략의 동기 및 유형을 분석하고, 이러한 경영 전략에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 우리나라의 항만 개발 및 운영과 관련한 정부 정책의 수립에 반영하는 것이 필요하다. 코피티션(co-opetition)은 협력(cooperation)과 경쟁(competition)의 합성어로서 경제 경영 용어로 등장한지 10년이 지난 새로운 경향이다. 코피티션이란 기업들이 각자 경영의 독립성을 유지하면서 자신이 보유한 핵심 역량을 바탕으로 경쟁 관계에 있는 기업과 특정사업 및 업무 분야에 걸쳐 협력 관계를 맺고 이를 통하여 상호 보완적인 역량을 결합함으로써 경쟁 우위를 확보하고자 하는 제휴 전략이라고 말 할 수 있다. 이 개념은 경제학의 게임 이론에서 비롯되었으며, 비즈니스 게임에 참여하는 참가자들 사이의 근본적인 관계가 단순한 경쟁이나 협력의 형태가 아니라 경쟁이면서 동시에 협력적 복합적 관계라는 의미로 해석되고 있다. 진정한 코피티션의 전략은 시장의 파이를 키우고 많은 승리자가 공유하는 것임을 다시 한번 생각하고 이제 우리의 항만이 이를 행동으로 실천할 때이다. 항만 간 코피티션에 대한 객관적인 평가를 위해서는 장기적으로 주요 항만의 비용구조 및 수익구조 등 기본적인 자료에 대한 데이터베이스화를 구축하는 것이 우선적으로 필요하다. 항만 간 코피티션 전략의 성공을 위해서는 성공 가능성이 높은 사업 분야의 선정과 사업의 범위를 명확하게 결정해야 한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a model of the strategic management of university library in Korea. The model from this study is summarized as follows: 1.   • A competitive coevolutionary algorithm is a probabilistic search method that imitates coevolution process through evolutionary arms race. The algorithm has been used to solve adversarial problems. In the algorithms, the selection of competitors is needed to evaluate the fitness of an individual. The goal of this study is to compare and analyze several competition strategies in terms of solution quality, convergence speed, balance between competitive coevolving species, population diversity, etc. With two types of test-bed problems, game problems and solution-test problems, extensive experiments are carried out. In the game problems, sampling strategies based on fitness have a risk of providing bad solutions due to evolutionary unbalance between species. On the other hand, in the solution-test problems, evolutionary unbalance does not appear in any strategies and the strategies using information about competition results are efficient in solution quality. The experimental results indicate that the tournament competition can progress an evolutionary arms race and then is successful from the viewpoint of evolutionary computation.

Spectrum allocation strategy for heterogeneous wireless service based on bidding game

  • The spectrum scarcity crisis has resulted in a shortage of resources for many emerging wireless services, and research on dynamic spectrum management has been used to solve this problem. Game theory can allocate resources to users in an economic way through market competition. In this paper, we propose a bidding game-based spectrum allocation mechanism in cognitive radio network. In our framework, primary networks provide heterogeneous wireless service and different numbers of channels, while secondary users have diverse bandwidth demands for transmission. Considering the features of traffic and QoS demands, we design a weighted interference graph-based grouping algorithm to divide users into several groups and construct the non-interference user-set in the first step. In the second step, we propose the dynamic bidding game-based spectrum allocation strategy; we analyze both buyer's and seller's revenue and determine the best allocation strategy. We also prove that our mechanism can achieve balanced pricing schema in competition. Theoretical and simulation results show that our strategy provides a feasible solution to improve spectrum utilization, can maximize overall utility and guarantee users' individual rationality.
