요양병원 간호사의 간호역량 중요성 인식과 간호역량수준 및 영향요인 분석 (Recognition for Nursing Competency Importance, Nursing Competency Level, and Their Influencing Factors of Nurses in the Long-term Care Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 요양병원 간호사의 간호역량 중요성 인식과 간호역량수준을 파악하고, 이들 영향요인을 분석하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상은 일 지역 11개 요양병원 근무 간호사 243명이었으며, 연구기간은 2014년 8월 25일부터 9월 3일이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 19를 이용하여 빈도, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석되었다. 연구결과 요양병원 간호사의 간호역량 중요성 인식 정도는 평균 $4.21{\pm}0.48$점(1-5점 범위), 간호역량수준은 평균 $3.47{\pm}0.46$점(1-5점 범위)이었다. 간호역량 중요성 인식에 비해 간호역량수준이 유의하게 낮았다. 회귀분석 결과 요양병원 간호사의 간호역량 중요성 인식에는 직위(${\beta}=.19$)가 유의한 영향요인으로 규명되었다. 간호역량수준에는 간호역량 중요성 인식(${\beta}=.37$), 연령(${\beta}=.20$), 현 직장경력(${\beta}=.13$), 건강상태(${\beta}=.13$)가 유의한 영향요인으로 규명되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 요양병원 간호사의 간호역량의 특성을 보다 잘 반영할 수 있는 측정도구의 개발과 간호역량 강화 프로그램의 개발 및 효과검증 연구를 제언한다.

치과위생사 직업인식과 직무역량 강화방안 (Dental hygienist's job recognition and vocational competency reinforcement)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the qualities and problems to be solved to strengthen the vocational competency of dental hygienists and to identify the work to be institutionally established. Methods: From April 1 to May 30, 2019, a total of 325 people participated (152 registered dental hygienists: RDH, 173 students of dental hygiene: SDH) in this study. The survey items were as follows: "job awareness" (6 items), "problem to be solved to strengthen vocational competency" (5 items), "qualities to be equipped to strengthen"competency" (9 items), and "practical work to be institutionally established" (4 items). Results: RDH and SDH had the highest perception of professionalism (3.68, 3.99 points), and low remuneration against work (4.21, 4.18 points) was perceived as the most important problem to be solved. The qualities for competency reinforcement showed the highest results in expertise knowledge (4.68, 4.64 points) and vocation for job (3.76, 4.09 points). Practical work to be established institutionally appeared as follows: X-ray film reading, dental hygiene diagnosis, periodontal pocket measurement, and periodontal pockets (<6 mm) treatment. Conclusions: This study is expected to be actively used to strengthen the vocational competency among dental hygienists, construct work autonomy, and rationalize and legalize practical work.

  • 본 논문에서는 여성농업인의 스마트 기기를 활용한 정보활용역량에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 제안한다. 본 연구는 농촌진흥청의 '여성농업인의 정보활용역량 측정지표 1차 조사' 자료를 활용하여 분석하였다. 조사대상은 여성농업인 200명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석결과 인지된 유용성, 자기효능감, 혁신성향 중 자기효능감과 혁신성향이 정보활용역량에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 인구사회학적 요인 중 교육수준, 스마트패드 보유여부, 스마트폰 사용기간이 정보활용역량에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 정보화에 취약계층인 여성농업인의 정보활용역량의 이해에 기여하고, 이를 토대로 여성농업인들의 정보활용역량 증대 방향을 제시하였다.

Statistical Analysis of Clinical Nursing Competency and Self-Efficacy in Nursing Students

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical nursing competence and self-efficacy of 4th and 2nd semester nursing college students who completed most of the performance-based nursing education curriculum. It was attempted to develop competency evaluation and competency-based curriculum. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, $scheff{\bar{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and Stepwise multiple regression in SPSS WIN 24.0 program. The findings of this study were as follows. 1) The knowledge level of essential basic nursing skills received a score of 88.95. The overall average score of clinical performance was 3.15 out of 5. The mean score of self-efficacy was $4.14{\pm}0.57$ points on 6 points 2) Among the general characteristics of subjects, 'motivation of major selection' and 'satisfaction of practice time' differed in the knowledge of essential basic nursing skills, 'religion' and 'health status' differed in clinical performance ability and 'interpersonal relationship', 'motivation of major selection', 'major satisfaction', 'satisfaction of practice time', 'nursing satisfaction', 'desired working period' and 'average rating' differed in self-efficacy. 3) The self-efficacy showed a significant positive correlation with the clinical nursing competency including the knowledge of essential basic nursing skills and clinical performance ability. The nursing satisfaction, clinical performance ability, the knowledge of essential basic nursing skills, interpersonal relationship and average rating influenced significantly and explained 23.7% of the subjects' self-efficacy.

간호사의 법의간호 역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of the Forensic Nursing Competency Scale for Nurses)

  • Purpose : This study aims to develop the Forensic Nursing Competency Scale suitable to South Korea. Methods : The initial items were generated through literature review and interviews. Items were evaluated by experts for content and face validity. By conducting a pilot test, 74 measurement items were developed. In total, 333 copies of the questionnaire were analyzed regarding the validity and reliability of the study. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program. Results : The study selected 53 questions after testing the content, face, and construct validity of the scale. The final 53 questions were composed of 15 sub-components in eight domains. These eight domains encompassed nursing practice, communication, critical thinking, human caring and relationships, evidence management, active information collection, professional development, and knowledge integration. Conclusions : In order to verify the effectiveness of the scale, future studies need to compare the forensic nursing competency in two groups to assess differences in these competency. Moreover, it is necessary to develop a forensic nursing educational program and validate its effectiveness by using this scale.

정보화 수준 제고를 위한 통합평가 시스템 개발 및 적용 (Development and Implementation of an Integrated Evaluation System for Continuous Maturity of IS Performance)

  • In order to improve business competency by the IS(Information Systems), every enterprise needs to evaluate the current level of IS performance and their utilization. The evaluation that measures the performance of enterprise information systems and diagnoses their effectiveness of business goals and efficiency of resources should represent the useful informations based on sustainable goal-oriented viewpoints to managers. This work develops an integrated evaluation system for continuous maturity of information systems performance, enabling enterprises to achieve their goals of information systems and related business strategies. The integrated evaluation system has been applied to performance measurement of information systems with a huge set of real data from domestic industries for three years, and proven reliable and practical.

간호대학생의 자기표출과 임상수행능력간의 관계 (The Relationship Between Self-Disclosure and Clinical Competency in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the level of self-disclosure and clinical competency and the relationships between self-disclosure and clinical competency in nursing students. The subjects were consisted of 662 nursing students from six universities and five junior colleges. The data were collected conveniently by self reporting questionnaires given to the students from September 13 to October 23, 1999. The instruments for this study were JSDQ and clinical competency measurement tool. The data were analyzed by SAS/PC program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The mean score for the level of self- disclosure was 3.29$\pm$0.98. 2. The mean score for the level of clinical competency was 3.93$\pm$1.00. The mean score for the dimension of skills, professional attitudes, teaching and coordinating, nursing process, interpersonal relationships were 4.09$\pm$0.77, 4.08$\pm$0.82, 3.97$\pm$ 0.90, 3.77$\pm$0.76 and 3.37$\pm$0.75 respectively. 3. The statistically significant difference in the score of the self-disclosure according to the educational background (F=9.42, p<.01), grade (F=5.59, p<.01), religion (F=2.68, p<.05), satisfaction of nursing major (F=14.20, p<.0001), and satisfaction of nursing practice (F=5.42, p<.01) was obtained. 4. The statistically significant difference in the score of the clinical competency according to the grade (F=32.44, p<.0001), achieved performance records (F=3.52, p<.05), satisfaction of nursing major (F=12.06, p<.0001), satisfaction of nursing practice (F=27.35, p<.0001) was obtained. 5. The data shows the positive correlations between self-disclosure and skill (r=.3231, p<.0001), between self- disclosure and teaching/coordinating (r=.1912, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and interpersonal relationship (r=.3064, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and professional attitude (r=.2789, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and nursing process (r=.2766, p<.0001).

윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육이 초등학생의 지식정보처리역량에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of SW Convergence Education Applying Yut-nori on Knowledge and Information Processing Competency of Elementary Students)

  • 본 논문은 윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육이 초등학생의 지식정보처리역량에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 전라남도 도서지역 초등학생을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육 수업을 개발하여 실험집단에 적용하여 보았다. 지식정보처리역량 사전검사를 실시하고 윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육을 진행한 후 지식정보처리역량 사후검사를 실시하였다. 지식정보처리역량 검사도구로는 초등학교 고학년 지식정보처리역량측정도구를 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석한 결과에 따르면 윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육이 초등학생이 학습상황 속에서 문제를 해결하기 위하여 지식정보와 자료를 수집하고 분석하여 평가, 선택한 지식과 정보를 활용하여 효율적으로 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능력인 지식정보처리역량 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

간호학 실습교육 평가도구에 관한 현황조사 (Survey of use of Evaluation tools for Student구s Clinical Competency)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the use of a evaluation tools of clinical competency for nursing students. The sample consisted of the departments of nursing in 14 universities and 20 Junior colleges of nursing. Data analysis was done by frequency, percentages and factor analysis. The results of the study were as follows : 1. A common measurement tools for evaluation in the clinical area was used by 74.4% of universities and Junior colleges of nursing. Only 0-4.5% of Junior colleges of nursing and 1.5-7.4% of universities used a evaluation tools developed according to their major. 2. Theoretically, 3% of those sampled applied the nursing process as an instrumental means of nursing practice. Bloom's theory was applied by 35.8% of the schools. Most of them used their own measurement tools for evaluating their students. 3. One half of them used quantitative scales, the other half used others. 4. Professional attitudes wire included in their contents bvy 93.9% of universties and 94.1% of Junior colleges of nursing. The major areas of evaluation were knowledge, skills, attitudes and interpersonal relationships in that order. Results ; From this study can be concluded that regardless of the number of academic years of nursing and professional area, common standard evaluation tools for nursing competency were found to be needed. Theoretically, an evaluation scheme which applies the nursing process should be required. Knowledge, skill, attitude and interpersonal relationship would be essential elements to be evaluated. Maximizing the clinical competency and minimizing the conflict elements for nursing students is important. Nursing, education, students and environmental aspects must be consider in the goal of clinical education. A diagram, a checklist and a anecdote note in addition to the quantitative scale are necessary for efficient evaluation.

PMO 역량에 따른 프로젝트 성과에 관한 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Project Performance by PMO Capability)

  • In recent years, although numbers of corporations are bringing in PMO, they seem to be indifferent to PMO performance measurement. This demonstrates that there are also other reasons beside performance measurement of information systems (IS) project being ambiguous by introducing PMO; the lack of acknowledging the concrete function of PMO, and the scarcity of empirical study about the effect of PMO on the project members and project performance. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which project success factors (i.e., standardization, management advocacy, and staff expertise) affect PMO capability (i.e., knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency) positively, leading to project performance (i.e., task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes) eventually. To empirically test the research model, data are surveyed from PMO department and IS department. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 132 questionnaires. By employing PLS technique, the measurement reliability and validity of research variables are tested and the path analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing. The path analysis results can be organized into 7 ways in large scale. First, standardization of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency of PMO capabilities. The findings of this result indicate that the multiple or single project management should satisfy standardization in order to operate an effective PMO. Second, management advocacy of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency. Management advocacy refers to the willingness of management to provide the required resources and authority for project success. There is agreement among researchers regarding the importance of management advocacy for favorable PMO capability. Third, staff expertise of project success factors has a positive association with knowledge management, resources management, and problem solving competency. The findings of this result indicate that the formation of an exceptional consultant or members with a proficient knowledge for staff expertise of project member is the key factor to elevate the PMO capability. Past research suggests that experience and knowledge and the resultant familiarity with the problem faced can be an important determinant of PMO capability. A capable project with appropriate staff expertise means that it enjoys a diversity of abilities and experiences. Fourth, knowledge management competency of PMO capabilities has a positive impact on psychological outcomes but has no direct effect on task outcomes and organizational outcomes. In domestic case of S. Korea, PMO was finally introduced to many other corporations in 2005 though it started bringing in 2000. Therefore, it had neither a significant impact on the task outcomes nor organizational outcomes by lacking the contents and the infrastructure of the knowledge management because the knowledge consolidation and management period of PMO is comparatively shorter by terms than other foreign nations. Fifth, resources management competency of PMO capabilities has a positive association with task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes. In addition, problem solving competency of PMO capabilities has a positive association with task outcomes, psychological outcomes, and organizational outcomes. Therefore, the findings of this results stress that PMO capabilities has a positive impact on project performance. Sixth, according to the path analysis of the hypothesis, which suggested in this research, problem solving competency is the PMO capability which is the key success factor for task, psychological, and organizational outcomes as an integrated performance model. Further, the analysis reveals that problem solving competency is an important factor for integrated performance model. The finding is in line with past IS research, which affirms that the work of IS projects is essentially a problem solving endeavor. Seventh, in the path analysis of the hypothesis in this research, the path of the management advocacy $\rightarrow$ problem solving competency $\rightarrow$ organizational outcomes appears to be the most important and strongest path. In brief, the finding of this study suggests that project success factors influence PMO capability positively, and project performance as well. From the results, it can be concluded that PMO helped great improve the project success rate and project performance. This study advances research on PMO capability in three important aspects. First, the findings of our study have implications for IS theory and future research. Our study contributes to IS theory by synthesizing concepts from PMO research and project management research with those in IS research. We proposed and tested PMO capability of IS projects and the findings of our investigation provided some preliminary answers to some of the questions raised. Secondly, this thesis does not only help depicting the concept of IT governance but also approaches empirically. It makes a gradual approach to the main content, step by step, in contrary of simple standard, scholastic way of thinking. Finally, we argued that this task-oriented(technical) view is not sufficient to adequately conceptualize IS project performance. Hence, we applied that the research on organization teams, which provides a flip viewpoint to that of project management research in that it gives more weight for psychological outcomes of organizational work groups, can be very helpful in reconceptualizing the IS project performance construct. The limitations of this study are also discussed to provide research directions for future research.
