관찰적 사전·사후 평가연구 방법의 비교 연구: 공용중인 고속도로 안전진단사업 효과평가를 사례로 (The Comparison Study on Observational Before-After Studies: Case Study on Safety Evaluation on Highways)

  • 본 연구는 관찰적 사전 사후 평가연구의 세 방법인 단순비교법, 비교그룹에 의한 방법 그리고 경험적 베이즈 방법에 대한 실증 분석을 수행하고, 그 결과를 비교하며, 평가연구에 적용 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2005년과 2006년에 영동고속도로에서 시행된 안전진단사업의 평가를 수행하였다. 분석결과 세 가지 방법 모두 안전진단조치로 인한 개선효과가 나타나고 있으며, 단순비교법이 개선효과가 가장 크고 그 다음이 비교그룹에 의한 방법, 경험적 베이즈 방법의 순으로 나타났다. 단순비교법의 결과는 교통사고 감소추이가 반영되어 과대 추정되었으며, 비교그룹방법의 결과에는 비교그룹의 외부우연요인이 내재되어 있다. 경험적 베이즈 방법은 참조그룹의 사고예측모형에 의해 평균으로의 회귀 현상이 통제되므로, 두 방법과 비교해 결과가 비교적 정확하다. 평가연구의 수행에서, 분석가는 평가방법별 장 단점을 잘 이해하고, 관련된 모든 지역에서 사고추이의 검토를 선행한 후에 평가 분석을 수행하여야 한다.

자치구 포장상태평가등급 기준 개선 및 포장상태 예측지수 개발 (Development of Borough Road Pavement Condition Evaluation Criteria and Prediction Index)

  • OBJECTIVES : This study develops an evaluation method, which is useful to inspect pavement condition of specific boroughs. This is because pavement condition is broadly divided into five grades via visual inspection, which does not consider the types of deteriorations, and is decided by an investigator having a subjective viewpoint. This visual inspection method is not a satisfactory method for accurate maintenance when various deteriorations occur. METHODS : The performance model considers several factors such as crack, rutting, and IRI. This method is also modified from borough SPI based on SPI (Seoul Pavement Index). Considering limited budget of borough, PI (prediction index) is suggested, which is related to the grade of pavement condition evaluation and type of materials. Practical correlation review is also conducted with statistical verification by using the Monte Carlo simulation. RESULTS : The results of the study show that modified criteria are reasonable. First, the comparison between the visual inspection result and the SPI result indicates that the R-square value is sufficiently high. Second, through the common section, each evaluation method could be compared, and the result shows considerable similarity, which increases when the range is modified. Finally, PI for predicting remaining life and the random number SPI have common parts, which means that each indicator would be adequate to be used as an evaluation method. CONCLUSIONS : Comparison and analysis results show that the developed evaluation method is reasonable for specific boroughs where financial support is inadequate for the evaluation process by using the newer equipment. Moreover, for more accurate evaluation method, previous visual inspection data should be utilized, and the database of inspection equipment have to be collected.

의복원형 설계의 착의 평가방법 비교 - 학령기 비만 남아를 중심으로 - (A Comparison of Wearing Evaluation Method for Bodice Pattern - Focusing on Obese Boys of School Year -)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate wearing evaluation method in order to propose well fitted bodice pattern. For this study, the subjects were drawn from obese boys at the ages 9 to 11. Wearing evaluation had use of 3 bodice type and 3 evaluative method. The appearance evaluation was to evaluate subjects by professional group. The functional evaluation was to valued subjects by self-evaluation. The quantitative evaluation was to estimate subjects through Electomyograph. Wearing evaluation was done through questionnaire of 32 item in objectivity, 36 item in subjectivity, and 36 item in quantity. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA. From wearing evaluation, appearance and functional evaluation had significant most of them but quantitative evaluation had not significant. It was known that the human sense was more sensitive the quantitative mechanism. And its obtained by both functional evaluation and quantitative evaluation, respectively was found to be significantly correlated, Independent relation was observed in the results from both appearance evaluation and functional evaluation as well as from both functional evaluation and quantitative evaluation. Therefore, we propose that it is proper to evaluate the propriety of bodice pattern for obese boys of school year, mutually compromising both appearance evaluation and functional evaluation or both functional evaluation and quantitative evaluation.

주관적 행복이 대안에 대한 소비자의 가격 책정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Subject Well-being on the Consumer's Pricing of Alternatives)

  • 주관적 행복이 각광 받고 있다. 주관적 행복에 따라 사회비교 및 인지부조화 해소가 달라지는 것처럼, 주관적 행복이 소비자의 대안 비교와 평가에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 본 연구는 소비자가 선택한 혹은 선택하지 않은 대안에 대한 추가 정보로 인해 대안의 절대적 가치 및 상대적 가치가 변동할 때, 대안에 대한 평가가 소비자의 주관적 행복에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지 연구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 특히, 소비자가 제품에 대해 지각하는 가치를 반영하는 소비자가 생각하는 대안의 적정가격을 사용하여 대안에 대한 평가를 측정하였다. 즉, 선택 혹은 비선택 대안의 상대적 가치 및 절대적 가치의 변화가 대안의 적정가격에 미치는 영향이 주관적 행복에 따라 달라지는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 98명의 대학생을 대상으로 실험을 실시하였다. 먼저, 학생들을 두 집단(비선택 대안 악화, 선택 대안 개선)에 무작위 할당한 후, 실험실 모니터에 2개의 대안에 대한 소비자 리포트를 제시하였다. 학생들이 하나의 대안을 선택하면, 대안에 대한 소비자 리포트의 평가가 변동(비선택 대안 악화, 선택 대안 개선)하면서 비선택 대안의 가격이 주어지고, 학생들은 선택 대안의 적정가격을 답하였다. 2주 후 학생들의 주관적 행복을 설문지로 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 집단, 주관적 행복의 단순효과 및 이 둘의 상호작용효과가 유의하였다. 또한, 행복한 사람은 비선택 대안이 악화될 때 보다 선택 대안이 좋아질 때 선택 대안의 적정가격을 높게 평가한 반면, 불행한 사람은 이러한 차이가 없었다. 이는 행복한 사람은 선택 대안의 절대적 가치 상승에 민감한 반면, 불행한 사람은 선택 대안의 절대적, 상대적 가치 상승 모두에 민감하며, 불행한 사람은 행복한 사람보다 비선택 대안의 악화 정보에 집중함을 의미한다. 본 연구는 소비자의 주관적 행복이 대안 평가에 미치는 영향을 제시함으로써 기존 연구를 확장하였다. 특히, 타인의 존재가 명시되지 않은 상황에서도 행복한 사람보다 불행한 사람이 부정적인 사회비교 정보에 민감함을 보였다는 점에서 이론적 의의가 있다. 아울러, 이러한 결과는 소비자의 주관적 행복 수준에 따라 대안을 어떻게 제시해야 하는지에 대한 시사점을 유통업체들에 제공한다. 본 연구는 한국의 소비자를 대상으로 진행하였으나, 향후 연구에서 국가간 차이를 비교하는 것도 의미 있을 것이다. 또한, 주관적 행복이 대안 평가에 미치는 영향의 메커니즘을 밝히기 위하여 예상되는 후회감, 고통, 기쁨 등을 매개변수로 놓고 추가 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다.

지적자본 관점에서의 과학기술계 연구기관 평가지표 분석 (Analysing Evaluation Indicators for the Research Institutes in Science & Technology Sector in the Perspective of Intellectual Capital Model)

  • This work firstly aims to analyse the balance between tangibles and intangibles as well as among human capital, structural capital and relational capital of evaluation indicators for the research institutes in science and technology sector conducted in 2006, by adopting intellectual capital model. The research question of this work comes from that while the R&D activity can produce both tangibles and intangibles, there have no been methodologies to relevantly measure and rationally judge these, in particular, intangible performance. The result shows that the institute evaluation system in 2006 had given more weight on tangibles and structural capital than intangibles and other intellectual capitals such as human capital and relational capital, in comparison to the past evaluation system, even though, in principle, the current evaluation system has to deal with the intangible research performances as well as tangible ones in economic, social and cultural perspective. Finally, based on these analysis, I will try to suggest some policy directions for overcoming the deficits of indicators in institute evaluation system.

수업에 대한 교수의 자기평가와 학생평가의 비교를 통한 공과대학 수업개선 방안 연구 (A Study on Suggesting Directions for Course Improvement at College of Engineering Based on Comparison of Instructors' Self Evaluation and Students' Evaluation of Courses)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore directions for improvement of teaching at college of engineering based on analysis of differences from course evaluation of students and instructors. Data was collected from 86 instructors' ratings on courses and their 3004 students' ratings on courses at college of engineering in a two-year, a three-year college and a University from 2010 to 2013. The results of the survey indicate significant differences in the statistics from the several questions between the instructors and the students as well as between the course in a two-year, a three-year college and in a University. First, instructors' self evaluation of the course is higher than students' satisfaction ratings of the course on the average. Instructors' self evaluation are high on the questions 'The subject was proper for the course', 'The course provided the latest theory and trend of the field', and 'Fairness and objectivity about the exams and the assignments'. Also, the difference between Instructors and students on the questions is significant in the statistics. The professor must make sure that students know well how to organize the course content and the method for feedback to test result and homework. Second, instructors have higher satisfaction ratings on the six questions and students have higher satisfaction ratings on the one question('Make students participate in the class effectively') at a two-year and a three-year college. However, students have higher satisfaction ratings on the three questions('Make students participate in the class effectively', 'Concern about students' learning process', and 'Use of E-learning and media equipments') and instructors have higher satisfaction ratings on the one question. It means instructors at a University feel pressure on a teaching and they are unsatisfied with their teaching skills. Third, the result of comparing six parts of the questions shows that students' satisfaction ratings are higher on 'Students participation' and 'Application of media equipments' parts whereas instructors' self evaluation are higher on 'Exams and assignments' part. Fourth, the question 'Make students participate in the class effectively' is significant in statistic based on comparison of instructors and students, and comparison of in a college and a University. Students' satisfaction ratings are higher than instructors' self evaluation.

차량 고급감 향상을 위한 흡배기계 음질지수 개발 (A Development of Sound Quality Index of an Intake and Exhaust System for High Quality Improvement of Luxury Vehicles)

  • In this paper, a sound quality indices for the evaluation of vehicle intake and exhaust noise were developed through a correlation analysis of objective measurement data and subjective evaluation data. At first, intake and exhaust orifice noise were measured at the wide-open throttle sweep condition. And then, acoustic transfer function between intake orifice noise and interior noise at the steady state condition was measured. Also, acoustic transfer function for exhaust system was measured as the same method. Simultaneously, subjective evaluation was carried out by the paired comparison and semantic differential method by 27 engineers. Next, the correlation analysis between the psycho-acoustic parameters derived from the measured data and the subjective evaluation was performed. The most critical factor was determined and the corresponding sound quality index for the intake and exhaust noise was obtained from the multiple factor regression method. At last, the effectiveness of the proposed index was investigated.

차량의 실내소음에 대한 음질평가 연구 (Study on the Evaluation of Sound Quality of a Vehicle Interior Noise)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a linear regression model for the sound quality index of vehicle Interior noise. For this, objective measurement data of the vehicles driving in acceleration was measured. On the basis of analysis, psychoacoustic parameters were extracted and subjective evaluation was performed by noise and vibration expert evaluators. For the subjective evaluation, the paired comparisons and the semantic differential methods were used to evaluate sound quality of vehicle interior noise. By the paired comparison which evaluate two pairs of vehicle interior noise, the preference was estimated. With the semantic differential and the factor analysis, it was evaluated words of two pairs which expressed appropriately the sense of evaluator about noise source. Therefore the characteristics of the sound qualify for the vehicle were differentiated. From the results of both the correlation analysis and the multiple factor regression analysis, the sound quality evaluation model for the sense of human hearing was derived and indexed.

An Empirical Evaluation of Test Data Generation Techniques

  • Software testing cost can be reduced if the process of testing is automated. However, the test data generation task is still performed mostly by hand although numerous theoretical works have been proposed to automate the process of generating test data and even commercial test data generators appeared on the market. Despite prolific research reports, few attempts have been made to evaluate and characterize those techniques. Therefore, a lot of works have been proposed to automate the process of generating test data. However, there is no overall evaluation and comparison of these techniques. Evaluation and comparison of existing techniques are useful for choosing appropriate approaches for particular applications, and also provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of current methods. This paper conducts experiments on four representative test data generation techniques and discusses the experimental results. The results of the experiments show that the genetic algorithm (GA)-based test data generation performs the best. However, there are still some weaknesses in the GA-based method. Therefore, we modify the standard GA-based method to cope with these weaknesses. The experiments are carried out to compare the standard GA-based method and two modified versions of the GA-based method.
