To test the compatibility of differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) and conventional in-situ monitoring technique we conducted a comparative analysis of the two systems using hourly measurement data sets of three criteria pollutants including No$_{2}$O$_{3}$, and SO$_{2}$ collected in months between April and June of 2001 at Sung Man city, Kyung Gi Province, Korea. The results of our comparative analysis were useful to evaluate the various aspects of DOAS performance, of particular the level of agreement with the counterpart method through computation of percent differences and correlation analysis. Interpretation of the mixing ratio data for those chemical species was however confined in terms of explaining the differences affected by the changes in environmental conditions because measurements of important meteorological parameters were limited during most of the study period. Nevertheless, the overall results of this study strongly demonstrated that the mixing ratio of major pollutants measured by the two different systems maintain strong compatibility from various respects.

In 1974 appeared the revision of Chapter 6 (which was then published as a sepprate monograph) of the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (= AACR). The revision is the sum result of the incorporation of the many changes put forth in the International Standard Bibliographic Description for Monographic Publications (= ISBD (M)) including the prescribed punctuation and also the reorganization and and rearrangement, in much clearer and more accurate terms, of the previous 1967 AACR rules. The purpose of the present study is then to point out the major differences between the 1967 AACR rules and the revised 1974 AA CR rules (for Chapter 6) for the benefit of the cataloger in her actual task of descriptive cataloging. The article consists of three parts: (1) an examination of the Appendices, I, III, and V of the revised rules, which are necessary for understanding the revision of Chapter 6; (2) comparative analysis of the Seven Areas of the revised General rules commonly used in descritpive cataloging; and (3) comparative analysis of Special rules.

In this paper, we investigated the list sphere decoders (LSD) for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. We showed that the ordering procedures play an important role in LSD in order to achieve the low complexity without degrading the bit-error-rate (BER) performance. Then, we proposed a novel ordering algorithm for the LSD which uses a look-up table and simply comparative operations. Comparative results in terms of BER performance and computational complexity are provided through computer simulations.

This is a comparative cultural study on the cultural dimensions of the Korean original film and its Chinese remake film. This research is based on the cultural dimension study by Dutch organizing psychologist Geert Hofstede (1991). In this research I have tried to compare cultural dimensions that are shown implicitly in the original Korean film of "Blind" and its Chinese remake, entitled "The Witness", in terms of the narrative structures.

Starting from the content types of video advertisements produced by social media users, this paper conducts a comparative study on the information and entertainment video advertising effects of the same product, to help video producers achieve better advertising effects when facing different products. Experimental results show that. In Garment, the information is higher than that of entertainment in terms of advertising cognition. In terms of advertising attitude and purchase intention, the entertainment is higher than that of information; in food, the entertainment is higher than that of information in terms of advertising cognition, advertising attitude, and purchase intention; in household items, the entertainment is higher than that of information; in terms of advertising cognition and purchase intention, the information is higher than that of entertainment; in terms of advertising attitude, the entertainment is higher than that of information; in cosmetics, the information is higher than that of entertainment in terms of advertising cognition; in terms of advertising attitude and purchase intention, the entertainment is higher than that of the information; in digital accessories, the information is higher than that of the entertainment in terms of advertising cognition, advertising attitude and purchase intention.

Having a firm grasp of technical terms is essential for learners of Japanese for Specific Purposes (JSP). This research aims to analyze Japanese nursing care vocabulary based on objective corpus-based frequency and subjectively rated word familiarity. For this purpose, we constructed a text corpus centered on the National Examination for Certified Care Workers to extract nursing care keywords. The Log-Likelihood Ratio (LLR) was used as the statistical criterion for keyword identification, giving a list of 300 keywords as target words for a further word recognition survey. The survey involved 115 participants of whom 51 were certified care workers (CW group) and 64 were individuals from the general public (GP group). These participants rated the familiarity of the target keywords through crowdsourcing. Given the limited sample size, Bayesian linear mixed models were utilized to determine word familiarity rates. Our study conducted a comparative analysis of word familiarity between the CW group and the GP group, revealing key terms that are crucial for professionals but potentially unfamiliar to the general public. By focusing on these terms, instructors can bridge the knowledge gap more efficiently.

According to the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods, the Seller must deliver the goods, hand over any documents relating to the them and transfer the property the to the goods as required by the contract, and buyer must pay the price for the goods and take delivery of them as required by the contract. In particular, the seller provides the documents is important. If the documents are discrepancies in credit, the beneficiary may not receive the payment. So It is important to study on conditions of documents in international trade. Documents provided by the seller shall be determined by express terms. If there is no agreement on the express terms, it shall be determined by the implied terms or governing law terms. In practice Seller shall provide the documents are as follows, For example, transport documents, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, insurance policy, packing list, inspection certificate etc. As stated above if it can not be determined by express terms, it is determined by the implied terms. In international trade, leading to the implied terms is incoterms(R) 2010 and UCP 600. Incoterms(R) 2010 define the seller must provide the goods and the commercial in conformity with the sales contract and any other evidence of conformity that may be required by the contract and UCP 600 are rules that apply to documentary credit. This paper, the practical utility between Incoterms(R) 2010 and UCP 600 is studied.

International sales contract, in general, is concluded through the exchange of written forms which contain each of their own business terms and conditions among the contractual parties. To illustrate, A sends the other an offer on A's general terms and conditions of business and B accepts the offer subject to the use of B's own general terms and conditions. Where the two sets of terms and conditions do not coincide, the question may arise whether the parties(A and B) have contracted and, if so, whose general terms and conditions apply. This situation is referred to as "the battle of forms". This article would try to make, in terms of the battle of forms, a comparison between the classical perspectives and opinions which are based on the principle of the English Common Law and the modernistic perspectives and opinions which are applied to the provisions in the UCC, CISG, and PICC. Therefore, the aim of this article is to provide the increase self-consciousness with respect to the battle of forms between the contractual parties that may frequently happen in the international business transactions and will pave the way for further research in the future.

This is a comparative study on the use pattern and satisfaction of skiers between the suburban skiing ground and the resort one. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the planning and the management of skiing ground. The sites of case study are Yong Pyung Ski Resort (Resort type) and Bears Town(Suburban type). Data were collected from questionaire. A total of 420 questionaires were completed. And data were subjected to following analysis: First, the descriptive statistics(mean, chi-square analysis etc.) were used to compare the characteristics of the users and the use pattern of two sites. Second, factor analysis was utilized to reduce 22 satisfaction items into the smaller number of factors. Third, regression analysis was used to find the factors affecting users' overall satisfaction in each skiing ground. The findings of this study are as follows: First, it was proved that the characteristics of users between tow sites were different in terms of age, income, and skill level. Second, it was proved that the use pattern between two sites were different in terms of travel distance from home, traffic mode, length of stay, accommodation type, and the money spent per day. Third, By a principal component factor analysis several factors of satisfaction are found: In physical terms, they are 'slope and life facilities', 'recreation and lodge facilities', 'accessibility', 'crowding', and 'landscape'. In psychological terms, they are 'skiing skills and thrills', and 'relaxation and freedom'. Forth, As the result of the stepwise regression analysis, it was yielded that 'relaxation/and freedom' was most important factor to predict the overall satisfaction in both skiing ground. And it was proved that not only physical factors but also phychological(need gratifying) factors were important sources of the satisfaction.

Recently, ASP business models based on Web services are attracting considerable attention and regarded as the next generation of the ASP business models. It is, however, undesirable for ASP users to adopt them simply because the Web services are the new trend in the IT world. Instead, an in-depth comparison of the benefits against the costs between the Web services based ASP business models and the traditional models are required. Furthermore, it is desirable that this comparative analysis should be applied from the ASP users' viewpoints rather than those of the government or ASP providers. So, we have applied a comparative ROI (Return on Investment) analysis from the ASP users' perspective and shown that the Web services based ASP business models (382%) are superior to the traditional models (280%) in terms of ROI. We have also employed Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework to keep the balance between tangible and intangible benefits considering the characteristics of IT value measurement.
