비교교육학과 교육평가학 (Comparative Education and Educational Evaluation)

  • 이 논문은 교육평가학과의 관계를 점검함으로써 비교교육학의 학문적 위상을 정립하는 데 도움을 주려는 목적으로 작성되었다. 비교교육학은 교육학의 분과 학문이면서 교육학의 다른 분과 학문들을 포괄할 수도 있다는 점에서 독특한 성격을 지닌다. 그리고 교육평가학은 평가의 내용을 다루기도 하지만 평가 방법론이 연구 영역에 포함된다는 특징을 지닌다. 교육평가학과 비교교육학 간 접점으로는 먼저 점차 확대되고 있는 국제비교평가를 들 수 있다. 국제비교평가는 1960년대 12개국의 수학교육을 비교하기 위해 실시된 국제수학연구를 필두로 대상 과목과 참여국가가 점점 확대되고 있다. 국제비교평가는 단지 참여국의 순위 경쟁이 목적이 아니라 각국의 교육과정 및 교육실천을 다각도로 비교함으로써 교육 개선을 위한 시사점을 제공하기 위해 실시되고 있다. 국제비교평가에는 다집단 분석을 실시할 수 있으며, 특히 국가 간 사회문화적 차이 등 측정구인 외의 요소가 어떻게 작용하고 있는지 밝히는 차별적 문항기능 분석이 가능하다. 또한 국제비교평가 자료는 다른 교육 자료들과 마찬가지로 위계적 구조를 지니고 있어 다층모형 또는 위계적선형모형이 적절하다. 따라서 문항반응이론을 확장시킨 다층문항반응이론을 적용할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 국가 간 차이에 대한 다차원적 진단이 가능하다. 교육평가학의 방법론적 진보에도 불구하고 비교 교육학과의 간극으로 인해 그 도구들은 적절히 사용되지 못하고 있다. 이를 해결함으로써 비교 교육학은 학문으로서 진일보할 수 있을 것이다. 결론적으로 방법론을 쉽게 풀어 널리 알림으로써 연구자가 도구를 손쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 하는 교육평가 학계의 노력과 함께 이러한 도구들을 사용함으로써 보다 정밀하고 정확한 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 하는 비교교육 연구자들의 노력이 함께 요구된다.

음성장애인의 자가음성평가와 정상음성인의 청자음성평가 특성 비교 (Comparative Studies on the Self Voice Assessment of Voice Disorder Patients and the Hearer Voice Assessment of a Comparative Group of normal subjects)

  • This paper will discuss the difference between self assessment of voice disorders and the hearer voice assessment of a comparative group of normal subjects. The study was conducted on 25 voice disorder subjects and 32 hearers of a comparative group of normal subjects. The results are as follows. Firstly, in K-VHI and VHI-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Likewise, in K-VQOL and VRQOL-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Secondly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects showed no difference in gender regarding the perception of the severity of voice disorder issues. Thirdly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects states that in the emotional aspects of VHI-H, professional voice users perceive more serious voice disorders than others. Accordingly, in VRQOL-H, there was no difference in use of the voice between professionals and others.

구성주의에 기초한 과학.미술 통합 활동이 유아의 과학과정기술과 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effectiveness of Constructivist Science Education Integrated with Art Experience on Young Children's Science Process Skills and Scientific Attitudes)

  • This research involved the conducting of an experiment in order to determine the relative effectiveness of constructivist science education when integrated with art experience and constructivist science education for young children. Forty-one children of five years of age in two daycare center classes were assigned to experimental and comparative groups. The experimental and comparative group participated in 15 units. The experimental group participated in science education integrated with art experience, while the comparative group participated in science education. The analysis of covariance revealed significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups on the posttests for science process skills and attitudes. This indicates that the children in the experimental group performed significantly better on the tests than the children in the comparative group. The results of this study suggest that incorporating constructivist science education activities with art experience are good activities for developing young children's science process skills and attitudes.

Study of Modern Human Evolution via Comparative Analysis with the Neanderthal Genome

  • Many other human species appeared in evolution in the last 6 million years that have not been able to survive to modern times and are broadly known as archaic humans, as opposed to the extant modern humans. It has always been considered fascinating to compare the modern human genome with that of archaic humans to identify modern human-specific sequence variants and figure out those that made modern humans different from their predecessors or cousin species. Neanderthals are the latest humans to become extinct, and many factors made them the best representatives of archaic humans. Even though a number of comparisons have been made sporadically between Neanderthals and modern humans, mostly following a candidate gene approach, the major breakthrough took place with the sequencing of the Neanderthal genome. The initial genome-wide comparison, based on the first draft of the Neanderthal genome, has generated some interesting inferences regarding variations in functional elements that are not shared by the two species and the debated admixture question. However, there are certain other genetic elements that were not included or included at a smaller scale in those studies, and they should be compared comprehensively to better understand the molecular make-up of modern humans and their phenotypic characteristics. Besides briefly discussing the important outcomes of the comparative analyses made so far between modern humans and Neanderthals, we propose that future comparative studies may include retrotransposons, pseudogenes, and conserved non-coding regions, all of which might have played significant roles during the evolution of modern humans.

  • 개별 공시지가 산정에 있어 비교 표준지의 선정은 가장 중요한 작업으로서, 최대한 객관적이고 합리적으로 이루어져야 한다. 그러나 현재 비교표준지를 선정하는 작업은 담당 공무원의 수작업에 의해 이루어지기 때문에 효율성이나 객관성을 보장하기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 현행 비교표준지 선정방식을 분석하여 문제를 정의하고 비교표준지 선정 업무의 자동화에 적용가능한 기계학습 알고리즘으로 의사결정트리를 선정하고 비교표준지를 선정하여 규칙을 주제지향적인 데이터베이스를 기반으로 학습하였다. 이렇게 학습된 규칙을 이용하여 비교표준지를 선정하고 그 결과를 평가 분석하여 새로운 비교표준지 선정 방법을 제안하였다.

Comparative study of text representation and learning for Persian named entity recognition

  • Transformer models have had a great impact on natural language processing (NLP) in recent years by realizing outstanding and efficient contextualized language models. Recent studies have used transformer-based language models for various NLP tasks, including Persian named entity recognition (NER). However, in complex tasks, for example, NER, it is difficult to determine which contextualized embedding will produce the best representation for the tasks. Considering the lack of comparative studies to investigate the use of different contextualized pretrained models with sequence modeling classifiers, we conducted a comparative study about using different classifiers and embedding models. In this paper, we use different transformer-based language models tuned with different classifiers, and we evaluate these models on the Persian NER task. We perform a comparative analysis to assess the impact of text representation and text classification methods on Persian NER performance. We train and evaluate the models on three different Persian NER datasets, that is, MoNa, Peyma, and Arman. Experimental results demonstrate that XLM-R with a linear layer and conditional random field (CRF) layer exhibited the best performance. This model achieved phrase-based F-measures of 70.04, 86.37, and 79.25 and word-based F scores of 78, 84.02, and 89.73 on the MoNa, Peyma, and Arman datasets, respectively. These results represent state-of-the-art performance on the Persian NER task.

Seroprevalence of Toxoplasma gondii in cats in mainland China 2016-2020: a meta-analysis

  • Background: Toxoplasma gondii can infect humans and most animals and has a very high infection rate worldwide, including in China. The number of people infected with T. gondii in China increases with the number of cats. Objectives: We investigated the seropositive rate of T. gondii in cats over the last five years and analyzed the risk factors via meta-analysis. Methods: We retrieved 20 studies, with a total of 5,158 cats, published between 2016 and 2020, used the DerSimonian-Laird model and calculated seroprevalence estimates with the variance stabilizing double arcsine transformation. Results: The overall seroprevalence rate after sinusoidal conversion was 19.9% (95% confidence interval [CI], 15.9-23.9; 966/5,158), lower than the domestic report from 1995 to 2015 (24.5%, 95% CI, 20.1-29.0). There was substantial heterogeneity among studies (χ2 = 262.32; p < 0.001; I2 = 64.6%). Regression analysis of possible heterogeneous causes and subgroup analysis showed that age and whether cats were stray or not have a significant effect on the seropositive rate. Conclusions: Articles published in recent five years suggest that the seroprevalence estimates of Toxoplasma gondii in cats has decreased. Cats, as the final host of T. gondii, are an important cause of the spread of the parasite, and this is an important concern for public health.

창의성 증진을 위한 언어적.시각적 유추의 효과검증 - 실험집단과 비교집단의 비교를 중심으로 한 실험연구 - (A Study on Effect Verification of Verbal and Visual Analogy for Creativity Enhancement - Experimental Study Focused on the Comparison of Experimental Group and Comparative Group -)

  • Personal creativity could be promoted and improved through many experience, training and various prior knowledge. This researcher had proceeded several preceding studies to find effective using methods of analogy for creativity enhancement. This study, following work of preceding studies aims to verify the effects of verbal and visual analogy for creativity improvement. Effect verification had been progressed by comparing the residential design results of two groups which are classified an experimental group consisted of sophomore college students with a comparative group consisted of sophomore university students. Consequently, the experimental group that had undergone many training on verbal and visual analogy in several preceding studies is superior to the comparative group in terms of creative design rate, sketch rate with high quality. Through this result it is verified that the using methods of verbal and visual analogy is very effective on creativity enhancement in interior design process. But the limitation of this study is that there were a few populations. Nevertheless, interdisciplinary this study will be used as a practical one to suggest a model on a teaching method and a theory for creativity improvement in interior design education.

전자문화지도에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Electronic Cultural Atlas)

  • 최근 사회 전반에 걸쳐 디지털 융합에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 다양한 분야에서 창조적이고 새로운 형태로의 융합이 이루어지고 있다. 학문 분야에서는 학문연구 방법의 다양성을 모색하기 위한 연구가 이루어지고 있으며, 그 대안으로 융합학의 성격을 가지고 있는 전자문화지도에 관한 연구가 점차 확산되는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 전자문화지도에 대해 알아보고 이를 비교 및 분석하고자 한다. 세부적으로 기존 전자문화지도의 베이스맵 활용, 인터페이스, 기능을 중심으로 한 비교 분석을 통해 효율적인 전자문화지도의 제작 방안에 대해 알아본다.
